I have been to the Peace Park in Hiroshima. It is a very moving experience. They have an indoor replica of the city after the bombing which shows the great extent of the damage. I got a dirty look from a young Asian boy when I left.

Since I was the last to post on the Picking Up Boys thread, when I come to the site I keep seeing my name associated with that title. Not to be picky, but I don't pick up boys in Bangkok. (Nor anyone these days!) So I posted this to keep that title down the section...at least with my name next to it.

The problem with a statement like that is that she has no evidence. She is just making allegations, probably to sell her book. It's just not a good idea to think up ways a person could have violated the law and then say you think they did...no doubt in your mind!

Well, this event did not happen at the park, but subtlety was most keen. I had turned the corner one night from Rama IV Road onto Silom, by the Robinson's. Night sellers had set up stands and the area was busy. As I turned, I noticed a cute guy working one of the stands. My eye lingered ever so briefly, a millisecond, yet he picked up on it and was instantly walking next to me. We exchanged basic greetings in basic English. As he kept walking with me, I asked him "Where you go?" His reply: "I go where you go." And he did. The Suriwong Hotel came in handy and he didn't seem a stranger to the place. The sex was great. I learned that he worked the stand with his family. I walked him back there and the family didn't seem to notice me.

It looks like a very interesting website with lots of choices. Does anyone here belong?

Well, the thread title is Happy 4th of July, Everybody. So, in that spirit, I can say that it is the most boring 4th of July I have ever experienced.
