I did not get a refund for my canceled April flight. Instead, I have an open ticket for whenever I wanna (am able to) travel. Dreamingly, I am fantasizing with this July. Besides, talking specifically about prostitution, as there is not a public market like Brazilian saunas, there are differentiated fees for local and foreign clients. Not in Brazil. However, I noticed that many Americans think that GPs are quoting them a different fee because they are Gringos. I think this misconception could be coming from not understanding a bargaining culture. In a Brazilian sauna, a GP will always quote a high price first to a new client, whatever your passport is. It is up to your mastering of the game to pay the price you want. I usually negotiate a price that is about 50 Rials above what local clients pay, but I could easily negotiate a lower price. Part of this negotiation is establishing empathy and connection. A likable potential client get better deals. Your nationality has really no weight in the price you pay in a sauna. If you do not know the game, you will overpay whether you are a local or a visitor.

It is not a rant, my friend. Since the beginning of Trump, I have been trying to remember that he is not the problem. When a decrepit candidate like Biden talks about going back to normal, it sounds to me just like another version of MAGA. The racists and the fascists have always been there, since more than a century before Trump ascension. It is challenging to remember that Donald is not the problem, though. He is obnoxiously tempting.

This could have been posted every time Trump showed his world record level incompetence and pettiness; which was its often starting with Inauguration Day. However, he still has 40% of solid support in the American electorate. It really looks like Trump is not the problem.

To be realistic, I do not think any traveling at all is going to be in my plans until there is a vaccine. Sure, international travel will be open before, but until then every country will probably institute a mandatory quarantine for all arrivals from foreign territory. I do not want to travel to any city to be in a mandated two weeks lock down.

The only reason I am still fantasizing on traveling to Rio in July is my abundance of free time and the need for appealing masturbatory landscapes. I am aware it is not going to happen. Not only because of traveling restrictions and locked down cities, but also right now I cannot make any serious plans as my calendar is in the air. They decided to end the school year earlier, and no one knows yet how the new academic calendar is going to look like for summer school and next school year. I hate the idea of having a 6/8 weeks summer break to be locked in home.
