+1 I would always visit this bar in all my visits, mainly to appreciate the beauty of the models and their well choreographed performances. Just need to add offing a guy from there to this. Perhaps an invitation to sit for a drink first would be good, just to get a feel of whether they are even interested.

That could be the case or it could be a number of other reasons. Whatever it may be, I hope they both got something good out of the arrangement. My objective for the next trip - try and off a guy from Jupiter 🤣

Jupiter The entrance fee is THB 500. Unlike my previous trip in November last year, the bar had a sizeable number of female customers (some of whom were quite rowdy during the shows). The boys and shows were pretty much the same. I think I have a crush on the cute singer who would usually perform a few sets before the show starts. 😬 There was this young looking twunk customer at the bar that I took notice of because he kept changing seats. When the show was close to starting, a model just walked in wearing street clothes (presumably from a previous off). Upon seeing this model, the twunk almost jumped out of his seat to catch the nearest papasan, talking while pointing at the model. Not sure what was the discussion but the papasan was shaking his head a lot and the twunk went back to his seat. A little while after that, the twunk again went to talk to the same papasan and after some time, I saw the model went to join the twunk (who, at this point, was smiling ear to ear) at his seat. My assumption (which could be completely wrong) is that the model was initially not available but after some persuasion, the twunk was able to get the model. I was actually impressed by how assertive and persistent the twunk was but I also noticed the uncomfortable look on the model's face. I hope they ended up having a mutually enjoyable night.

I'm sure you can ask them. Personally, I prefer them with nothing on 😛

Hi guys, Just came back from a trip to Bangkok. It was mainly for work so I did not get to do much with the gogo/massage scene but thought I'd share what I did manage to do. There were two main things I at least wanted to do on this trip; checking out the Tawan situation personally and checking out the Sol bar which I've passed by so many times in my previous trip but never walked in. 😅 I am happy to say that I accomplished both. Tawan On Tawan, I've shared my findings here. Hopefully, that answered some questions a few of the members here had. Sol I checked out Sol just once on this trip. The entrance fee was THB 450. The layout of the bar was quite nice, spacious stage and floor but there's an annoying pillar at the middle-front of the stage which kind of blocks part of the stage depending on where you sit. The boys were a mixed bunch, but most consisted of str8 looking twinks. There were a few older guys who are lean/muscular and there's one guy who, if I'm not mistaken, was from Tawan quite some time back. The show was the usual mix of the drag, sexy show and big cock show (the movements they used for their "sexy dance" is pretty much the same as with most other bars except Jupiter, which makes me wonder if they are trained by the same coach, or if that's just the Thai version of a sexy dance 😅). There were only 2-3 other customers there aside from me, so the boys were trying hard to secure an off (which can be a bit uncomfortable). Overall, it's not my kind of bar but the twink lovers here might actually enjoy it. I'll continue with some brief update Jupiter, Moonlight, Hotmale and Dreamboys a little later.

Just one observation on the guys. On one of the nights I visited them, most of the boys were not there. I asked the doorman and he said they went to drink and dance at a nearby place. So, maybe we're the ones worrying to much about them? 🤔

I think his name is Dee, but not 100% sure. According to him, he's not one of the regulars at Tawan before and would only be there 2-3 times in a week as a model. You can always just go to the guys and choose from those available there.

Managed to off one of the guys. ST tips - 3000, little higher than what I'd normally pay for ST (ard 2500) but taking into account that there's no off fee or drink charges, it's actually cheaper than the usual off. The experience was good, some muscle worshipping and good fun. The former doorman now plays the role of papasan and negotiated the fees for some of the guys who have limited English skills. The guy told me that apparently, the reason for the closure was because of one of the twinks they added in their roaster (who was apparently underage?) which resulted in the owner's name being blacklisted. So, the plan to reopen supposedly now involves a proxy who will use his name instead, and they've supposedly completed inspecting the venue for reopening. Anyway, that's his version of what he heard.

I can confirm @Mapraou info. I met with the Tawan guys last night at the 7-Eleven near the former Tawan where the guys hangout as previously reported by @roughjock. Most of them looked like they've seen better days. The cheeky former tout/doorman from Tawan "suggested" that I joined them for drink (which means that I need to go buy a drink from 7-Eleven and some drinks for the guys too) and I happily obliged 🤣. Some info I got from them: 1. The guys hanging out there are available for "offs". I saw a few of them trying to catch the attention of the ladies passing by 🤣. That former doorman was also heavily pushing for me to off one of the guys there and then 😅. The down side is that, since we were in the street and with their full clothes on, you can't really tell if they've been maintaining their bodies or which one appeals to you the most. 2. The bar is said to be open again towards the later part next month but as with all news in Thailand, take it with a pinch (or in this case, a spoonful) of salt. Looking to off one or two of them in the following nights, hopefully for me to have a good time and to show support for the guys from one of my favourite bars. 🙂

Kuala Lumpur has a lot gay saunas, and there's one gay club that I know of in Bukit Bintang. There used to be a few more but not sure if they are still around after Covid. Plenty of guys on the apps, with most MBs from Indonesia. While homosexuality is illegal in Malaysia, there are quite underground gay communities in different cities, KL & Penang being the liveliest imo. In Cambodia, I personally prefer Phnom Penh due to the number of gay bars and how friendly the guys at the bars are. Spacebar is my fav.

Hi @asdsrfr, Can i ask which area in Medellin are you staying at? I have a trip planned in a couple of months but I'm struggling to settle on a location to stay at. I've checked a couple of hotels in El Poblado (most have some kind of restrictions on bringing guests in) so might need to look at airbnb instead. Appreciate any recommendations you may have.

Some have suggested that the Tawan guys are still hanging around the closed bar at night. If you have the chance to check it out, do let us know.

Your experience with B reminded me of a similar incident I experienced in my first trip to BKK (also with a model from Jupiter). Handsome guy with a muscular body, but when we got back to my room, he doesn't really wanna do anything other than receiving a BJ (with a condom on) and let me feel/play around with his body. After sending him off, it sorta left a bad taste but lesson learned. From that point, I would always ask the boys what they can do at the bar itself, before taking them out. If there's no indication of interest from the boy at the bar, I wouldn't bother no matter how hot he may be.

Hopefully they'll be hanging out there and accepting ST/LT offers before the bar reopens. I need my my muscle boys 😭

The closest alternative (though not quite the same) would probably be Arena massage, or the Moonlight models (real pricey though). I'm still holding hope that they will announce a re-opening, maybe at a new place or something (and hopefully before my upcoming trip) 🙏🙏🙏.

I've only ever gone to Screwboys once in all the times I've gone to BKK. Looks like I should pay this bar a visit in the month's trip 😛

Thanks for that info @macdaddi Just a follow on to this, if I may, does that that mean you can bring different guys here as long as it's just one person at any given time and that person will be registered for that period that they are with me in my room, or registered as my +1 throughout my stay? Where would you suggest having fun with the guys you meet if it's not at your room?

Hi guys, I'm planning a trip to Medellin in August and I'd like to ask your opinion on hotels in the El Poblado neighbourhood that are guest-friendly. I was going through Agoda looking for hotels and noted that in some of the reviews of a few hotels, there were complaints about not being able to bring a guest back to the room. I've kinda narrowed down my options to Haven a Design Hotel, Celestino Boutique Hotel or the Charlee Lifestyle Hotel but open to other suggestions. Thank you in advance 🙏🙏🙏

Personally, I feel that it might be a little more affordable but not that far apart. And like @floridarob mentioned, there's no gay gogo bars like those in Thailand but the apps are full of guys offering their services. The rates are generally cheaper compared to Thailand, with the few exceptions. Jakarta city might not have much in terms of tourist attractions but the food/cafe scene is better than Bangkok, for me at least. I do alternate between Thailand and Indonesia often, just for a change in scenery (and types of guys I'm looking for).

Oh no. I hope this isn't true. This is one of my go-to bars whenever in Bangkok. If this is true, I hope there'll be another place where I can still see the Tawan boys.

In all the times I've brought guys back to my hotel room, never had their IDs checked by the receptionist at the hotel. I've heard some hotels (e.g. Tarntawan) might have that policy in place but most probably don't. I think this differs between individuals but for me, a hotel is my preference when it comes to Thailand mainly because the rates are about the same with (or sometimes better than) AirBnBs, and you'd generally get better service at a hotel (e.g. breakfast, daily room cleaning, etc.).
