Had the same at the same location a week ago and it was far from too spicy. Maybe bad luck or just a matter of your personal taste... but I dis not eat the dried chili's 😉

I was there twice last week. Had a bit of mixed feelings on both trips. The massage by both guys were surprisingly decent, which I was kind of hoping for but didn't have high expectations on actually getting.

On the other hand, the fun that followed was a little of a let down as neither guys could finish. I was told they had customers earlier, so who knows. But I made the best out of it, and the guys helped me to finish. So all in all, I still enjoyed myself.

I m glad you were penalized for trying to be too upcale. It would never cross my mind to try such humble dish in upscale establishment. 

And no, no offense is taken whe somebody doesn't like my favorite dish which by the way has tendency to taste differently from venue to venue.

Walk-in is better until you have a favourite.

When I was in Bangkok last month I became ill with severe bronchitis. I went 4 times to BNH Hospital and saw first an eye doctor then an ENT. We thought we could keep it under control, but that was not to be as a few days later I saw a specialist on lung disorders. He x-rayed the sinuses, postiive for infection, and the lungs, which were so bad he wanted to admit me to the hospital immediately for COPD. I talked him out of that and went the antibiotic route. Two days later I saw his boss. I then followed up with a visit to the ENT.

All of those appointments, and the accompanying prescriptions, cost me $905. Thankfully, I bought travel insurance and am putting my claim together. And I am feeling better too!

For the convenience of lurkers on the forum: The Prime Massage is a place you go to for massage and not the extras. It’s very popular and you have to book in advance. Massage skills are superb. However, if you go there expecting a HE you will most likely be disappointed. That doesn’t mean people haven’t been lucky there, but that is rare.

I was definitely not lucky there. They insisted on massaging me and the hubby in the same room, where we got lackadaisical massages by fully clothed uninspiring "masseurs."

Since it’s a type 1 place you would fully expect the masseurs to remain clothed throughout the session 🤷‍♂️

But that's not his only complaint....I've been a couple of times in the afternoon and the massages are decent, but I've had much better from some freelancers and my recent favorite is Alex's cousin at Hot Male for example.

I think they've gotten too busy/popular  to care....my 2 baht 😉

Completely agree. I stopped going to Prime many years ago. When they started having staff dedicated to only timekeeping, I was out of there.  There are so many better options nowadays.
