Emirates and Etihad are great, but I don't like the stop in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Same with Singapore Airlines (specially when flying with a A380😍), but at least Changi is a nice airport. But killing several hours in those airport is very cumbersome. Fortunately we have direct flights vom ZRH by Swiss and Thai. Thai is surprisingly expensive and the planes are old. Swiss is +/- ok and not that expensive. But quality went down since Swiss got acquired by Lufthansa. The latter is one of the most shitty airlines on this planet. My flights were canceled several times due to strikes or whatsoever reasons. Never ever again.

Last week I stayed at Zing (as always...). It's normally surprisingly quiet in the night, but no so this time. There is a bloody Karaoke (Or what so ever) bar in the neighbohood with loud music til llate 3 am. I am not the type straying around til 4 in the morning, so that was very annoying. Yes, earplugs are standard in my travel essentials... but anyway. I am a bit done with Thailand at the moment, but that usually cures till next winter.

Of course it started to poure when I had to walk to the BTSstation heading to the airport 😱

Today I was in the mood to have a serious massage and went to Burirom (Jomtien) and requested an 1h oil massage. One of the guys jumped up with a smile and went upstairs with me. The massage was indeed very good. The guy was very friendly and always smiled to me. At the end there was quite some fun. I wanted to tip him but he refused and only asked for a kiss (Down in the lobby, were all those foot massage clients were watching). That was everything else I expected... I tipped anyway and will return for sure. And of course he got the kiss 😉 but I am still a bit confused...

Had the same at the same location a week ago and it was far from too spicy. Maybe bad luck or just a matter of your personal taste... but I dis not eat the dried chili's 😉
