  1. Mr O is an old "friend" of mine. We hooked up many times over the years and I loved spending time with him in the Rise Hotel. He is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. And he's hung like a donkey! I thought he just ran a restaurant. Is it now also a bar with available guys??
  2. I watched both parts of this podcast. He keeps saying "I did nothing wrong" while at the same time, admitting he vandalised the atm machine. There's a lot of talk about how he "found himself" in this situation. He didn't find himself there, he put himself there through his stupid behaviour and baud ignorance. Some of his story doesn't add up.
  3. I didn't seek it out - it was on 60 Minutes.
  4. He leads a very boring lifestyle in order to try to remain young. He exercises all day and eats horrible food. He doesn't really have a life. It also means he can't really travel, as he would have trouble continuing his exercise regime and finding appropriate food. He couldn't just go to a restaurant like the rest of us. I saw a documentary about him where he compared erections with his son to see who could stay hard the longest, and he won! But his daily regime wouldn't leave him any time for sex! Years ago I met a guy by the pool in Bali. He went into great detail about his efforts to look young - punishing exercise, creams and lotions, sparse diet, etc. "So, how old do you think I am?" "I'd say, 60." I was trying to be polite. He was completely deflated. He was 55. I find any discussion with personal sexual behaviour (aka wanking) with your son cringe-worthy in the extreme. I saw a tik-tok where a tourist was in the Tenga store in Tokyo, telling us how great the wanking toy was, and how he was going to buy one for his son. I was also a little embarrassed when I was having dinner with my Japanese friend and his family in Perth. I had arranged for the son to enrol in an expensive private school for boys. He had to stay in the dormitory. My friend said he was uncomfortable in a dorm because other boys could see him wanking. Never mind, said his mum. I'll make you a curtain you can attach to your bunk for a bit of privacy! I later reassured my friend that he'd certainly not be the only boy wanking in the dorm. Oh, and the father wrote me a cheque for $30,000 in appreciation for my getting his son into the school!
  5. I'm a great fan of Cathay Pacific - their lie-flat beds are supremely comfortable. Staff are wonderful, too. I'll be off to Japan on Cathay in May. Last trip over Christmas /New Year was on ANA. They were also great, and the food was outstanding. But there wasn't a lot of choice - 1 Western and 1 Japanese. The presentation was what you'd expect in a 5 star restaurant. But I prefer to fly during the day, which is why I've chosen Cathay again. I always look forward to spending time in their lounge in Hong Kong. It's amazing! I flew to Kuala Lumpur this time on Malaysian. I flew economy class with am extra legroom seat. You have to choose your flight carefully with Malaysian because some flights out of Perth have a business class seat which is not even what I'd call premium economy. You have someone sitting next to you, the seats do not lie-flat and there is not even an entertainment screen!. And they charge 3 times the price for economy! The long haul flight to and from Japan, however, is true business class.
  6. Put your phone on a strap and keep it under your shirt.
  7. Maybe it's like the cage they had downstairs at Drakes in Prague. A sexy guy would be inside and you could reach through the bars from the outside and grope him.
  8. Well, I've heard this before, although nobody has ever said I stink. Maybe because I only eat Asian food. Some Asian guys smell of fish sauce but I wouldn't dare tell them, so at least your guy was honest. In general, Asians don't smell of BO, apparently because they have a gene that we don't. I don't know how true this is, but all I know is, Japanese guys smell great, even on a crowded train the in middle of summer. In rush hour, when you're standing with your face in some guy's armpit, it's never a problem. Compare that to say, France, where stinky people are the norm, even in winter.
  9. Bend over and see what happens!
  10. It seems the ban is quickly spreading to other airlines.
  11. Singapore airlines has just banned the use of powerbanks.
  12. Great reports, Danny. Thanks for taking the time to post.
  13. "After his humiliating defeat and his land losing most of its value, do you really expect him to say "Oops! My Bad!"?" Defeat? What defeat? He WON! He got to keep his land and continue farming till this day. If that's a defeat, what does losing look like to you! πŸ˜‚ As for his land losing value, you still don't get it! Value only exists if you want to sell something, and he doesn't want to sell.
  14. I didn't know that.
  15. You need to fill out a digital forum in order to enter Malaysia. Last year I wasn't aware of this and was stopped at immigration and had to go online and fill it out on the spot. I travelled with Malaysia Airlines and they didn't ask me if I had filled it out when I went to check in. This trip I filled it out a couple of days before departure and Immigration was a breeze - I basically walked straight through without having to deal with immigration officials. Japan has a similar digital system which you complete before arrival. It gives you a qr code and it really speeds things up. Those poor souls who don't get the qr code have to waste time filling in Immigration forms. Cathay Pacific uses face recognition at Narita. You put in a few details and then walk through Immigration and Customs.
  16. "Neither of us has seen results on a polygraph" πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Oh, and btw, are you sure that's a horse?? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  17. "a-447 has had ample opportunity to provide links to sources which would factually support his opinion" I'm not posting my opinion - I'm telling you what actually happened. "That being said, the Wikipedia article indicates that the farmers whose land was purchased to built Narita obtained their land in the late 1940s, during the period of US administration--not hundreds of years ago" Oh, dear! Again, you can't see the woods for the trees. I've already explained the feudal background to the working of the land in Japan. In your ignorance you are happy to ignore the importance of the farming tradition - a tradition that goes back to feudal times. " a BBC interview with the hapless farmer" You ask for evidence so where is yours that the farmer is "hapless"? "had already said that I didn't believe the farmer when he stated he didn't regret his decision not to sell" You ask for evidence so where is your evidence that leads you to that belief? His temporary relief from the lack of noise from the aircraft is not evidence of some kind of eternal on- going regret. If you think it is, where is your evidence? "that link didn't provide any evidence to the contrary" It was straight from the horse's mouth! He knows how he feels, but you are saying to him :" No, you don't! I know how you feel, not you!" Such arrogance. Keep digging! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  18. We go back a long way.
  19. That non-response tells us all we need to know about you, Bucky. You come across as yet another unsophisticated, uneducated and un-questioning member of the cult.
  20. Yep, Trump is Putin's useful idiot.
  21. The problem with the tiktok "first person accounts" is that they are simply opinions from people who are nobodys. You could get these types of opinions from someone you sit next to on the bus. You need to post videos from experts in their fields, supported by evidence. As for Liberals saying silly stuff, why haven't you called out Trump for his stupid comments, such as calling Zelenski a dictator but not Putin, saying that Ukraine should never have started the war but not calling out Putin for invading Ukraine, telling Covid victims to drink bleach, telling them it would just magically disappear, falsely claiming immigrants were eating cats and dogs, claiming that he would date his daughter if he were not his father, saying Zelenski's poll figure was only 4%....... And there's this statement he made when describing his new book : β€œSo it’s a book of pictures, largely, with statements, but a book of pictures.” You totally lack credibility if you don't call him out. "Why be one-sided?" you ask. Why, indeed!
  22. Great suggestion, Mac. It makes it a lot easier to find what we are looking for.
  23. Wouldn't Russian intelligence know who was in the hotel - humanitarian workers of various nationalities? Afterall, they knew who was in the theatre and the 'scout camp' that you mentioned.
  24. I hope they pay a lot of attention to English pronunciation. Some Asians speak perfectly grammatical English but shorten the vowels, making it hard for me to understand.
