  1. You don't know? He's already there as the Ghost of Christmas Present, whispering in everyone's ear not to be "scroogy".
  2. But you stayed in it because the seamen kept you awake and feeling energised!
  3. That's very early. Were you the discipline mistress or in some other supervisory position? At what time did school start proper? And is it the same throughout the US or unique to your state and/or the type of school (state vs private, religious school, etc)? I was a day scholar and a night owl until I left for the UK at 16 for my Sixth Form. Boarding school was rigid and stressful in some ways but a lot of fun in other ways. Since then I've always been a day person and am in bed by 10.30 most nights.
  4. Victory Church Krungthep. A place of worship and fellowhip in the City of Angels for gay men, some of whom knew Jesus personally.
  5. And most pertinent to yourselves, I suspect.
  6. Spoken like a true fake stamp collector!
  7. Including the fake love? 😏
  8. Did you know that Michael Furmston died of a heart attack in Kuala Lumpur in 2020? He was teaching at a private university here. He was 87. RIP. Cheshire, Fifoot and Furmston...hahaha although I preferred Anson's - much easier read!
  9. 28 lectures a week? You guys sure studied a lot back then. Did you ever have Treitel for contracts?
  10. He'd look much better if he kept his hair short and wore clothes that were more age appropriate. Go for the distinguished older gentleman look like Pierce Brosnan, for instance. Fabio's 66 and trying to cling on to a look that suited him 30 years ago only ages him, in my humble opinion. Moreover, having sharp, chiselled features and a square jaw may look good on a man when he's younger but they don't tend to age well for eg the late Robert Redford (may he rest in peace). The march of time tend to be kinder on people with softer features.
  11. You mean like how you last saw them at Jomtien Complex? πŸ€”
  12. I didn't know the other two boards were still running. I thought gaybuttonthai would have died a natural death following the owner's passing.
  13. Their daily catwalk was full today; I suspect they were using old reels. Quite a few of the guys in the line up were Tai-Yai/Shan from Myanmar and have been in the business for a very long time.
  14. It's been raining continuously over the last 72 hours and schools have asked parents to pick their kids up and have been closed for the last two days. Hatyai's six rivers/canals are slowly filling up. Two friends and their families are staying with me right now and a third is on the way. The border which had seen renewed signs of life in the last two weeks has become quiet again. Let's pray that that the rain will stop and that the floods don't come.
  15. And they were confused why he had requested for stirrups to be fixed to the foot of his bed. They had to be brought over from the OB-GYN ward. 🀷
  16. He looks like he belongs in...Pattaya.
  17. Your ability to take a joke, easygoing personality and not needing to have the last word every time probably have a lot to do with it. ✌️πŸ’ͺ🫢πŸ₯‚
  18. Uh-huh. πŸ™„
  19. Last post in the Pattaya sub-forum was on Dec 4. Either forum members in Pattaya have been really busy or Pattaya is totally dead. 🀷
  20. Have you been talking to vinapu's orthopaedic doctor? He's been warned many times the reverse cowgirl isn't for everybody.
  21. ...or cadence on a rectum.
  22. That's right, Bon! I had forgotten his name. Any idea what happened to him and Tangmo, who was the other major player on the strip?
  23. 🀣 Good one, vinapu, and believe it or not, having seen their daily catwalk on social media recently, quite a few of the guys in their line-up are, shall we say, a little long in the tooth, and have worked all over Thailand for a decade or so. They looked a bit tired to me and in my view can't hold a candle to the hunks in the Thai bars. That said, this story reminds me of a bar where the staff, once in the bar's employment, are bound to it like in a traditional Catholic marriage. Old hands of "gay Thailand" might remember My War bar in Patong, Phuket. It was the biggest gay go go bar along the strip and the owner, a Phuket native also owned a few smaller bars and other businesses in the area. By many accounts he was a nasty character with connections to the Phuket underworld (or so it was claimed). He had a system where, if a staff member, especially a popular one, wanted to quit before the end of their "contract", they had to pay him compensation and he had no qualms in enforcing this "contract" through his goons. One staff member had escaped to Chiang Rai with his new farang boyfriend and the My War bar owner sent his goons after them and made the farang pay 100,000 baht to "release" his Thai guy from his "contract". Sadly, Phuket has an unsavoury reputation for scams be it for jet skis, overpriced taxis or bar shenanigans.
