I don't go to every bar in Thailand when I visit I tend to try them once and for various reasons may never go back ...loud music , uninterested staff , loud screeching , over enthusiastic staff , and shaking that ....glass One thing that never never gets me going back is when the waiter shakes my glass every few minutes, how fast would you like me to drink it? Only happened twice in my 25 years of visiting but memory is still there One beer bar in Jomtien complex done it on my last visit ,second drink in 20 minutes and he was still walking around shaking glasses Fair enough if someone has been sitting on a drink for 20 minutes I guess and taking up a table but in the middle of July and a few customers and I knew why they aren't busy as he went from table to table every 5 minutes shaking that glass ! I actually sung that song to him. "I see you baby ,shaking that glass ,shaking that glass ! And no he didn't get a tip at the end If the owners can't see that business practise is ruining their business then they are blind I see you baby .....shaking that ...🍷

I'm now looking at AIRBNB for a months stay Arcadia beach resort apartment Laguna apartment They say from about 18k per month but extra for electricity and water so whether it's works out cheaper than a hotel after that who knows I don't know LAGUNA apartment

Yes I believe it's DD inn im referring to , not BBB inn , that was in Bangkok .thankyou Moses . another I will look at too is the Sansuk Sauna hotel , I do like their Sauna , whether it's worth the current Agoda rate of 1600 baht a night though , mind you ,I believe it's free sauna entry for hotel guests .

Yes plus The VENUE has the show nightly too ! I don't know about a balcony though .

Yes Vinapu I have never stayed at the Venue ,may give it a try this trip. AGATE was good but I feel the ZING is just as good for half the price BAAN SOUY is fantastic but very expensive at average 2500b a night

Going to Pattaya in a few weeks. I would like to change things a bit this 7 week trip. Usually I stay in ZING resort, but I'm a person who gets easily bored I did notice another ZING further up I want to take a risk outside my comfort zone this trip and stay other places I'm not keen on AGATE especially for their price I have put on my list the CLASSROOM hotel this trip maybe for a few days ,near Boyztown Any other places / hotels I should try , I don't know what the BB inn is like ? In Jomtien, advertising as a gay hotel. Arcadia Beach Resort was great ok last trip ,close to the gay sauna,2 minutes walk to Sansuk ,resort gym ,etc all for 1000 baht a night ! How about the AMBIANCE hotel nowadays?

Vinapu your right. I may do a bit of Bangkok this trip. For years I avoided Bangkok but it may be a bit of change I need , as for changing hotels I hate lugging my suitcase to keep changing but I stayed in like 4 different ones in Pattaya my last 2 month trip. More expensive mind you ,if you stay in different ones I want to try the Classroom hotel this trip

In a few weeks I'm off to Pattaya on my yearly 2 month trip I sat in my apartment here in farangland listening to a song I first heard in Pattaya 20 years ago called "Take me to the clouds above " I first heard it in those Go Go bars in PattayaLand Soi 3 was it where wild west boys is . Forget the names of the go go bars then , I just listened to that song tonight and it brought back memories of Pattaya back in 2004 Times have changed and i looked over my old diaries to see I was going to Pattaya back then every 3 months for week long trips, and according to my diary I was very excited weeks before Even taking sick leave from my work to go Fast forward 20 years and I'm not that overly excited, I could even put it off until later in the year if I wanted ,not that fussed actually I don't know if it's me changing ,maybe I'm getting old , or if it's Pattaya . I do plan to retire there within the next 10 years The shine is still there but I miss a lot of the past ,and that's not a good thing because I like change In a way it's great not to be overly excited as I was 20 years ago , those days I was counting down , and it was antsy pants until departure day ,antsy antsy pants ! Now I don't care as much
