  1. The ultimate factor in Thailand's tourism number for 2023 is definitely China's COVID policy. They have been the biggest group of tourists in Thailand for years, so that pent-up demand will be 2-3 bigger than it was for Westerners wanting to go back to Thailand. If , as some are saying, China will relax travel rules in March, get prepared for some of the most expensive hotel rates during Songran and even during the so-called low season.
  2. Thanks for this report @PeterRSSo how the hot spring? Is it exclusively gay or more a mixed one like the old that closed? Did you like the crowd? You mention also one that was part of a upscale hotel. Is that also mostly geared towards a gay clientele?
  3. This one has been catching my attention lately: https://mobile.twitter.com/urfilobabe
  4. I scored in my last trip with a Thai guy I found on Twitter and might meet another one next month. I saw a video of him uploaded by a Kiwi guy and decided to contact him. He replied pretty fast. One thing I noticed with Twitter though and I'm not sure if it's limited to Android, is that I don't always get a push notification when someone sends me a DM. That might be also a contributing factor of why sometimes there is no reply.

  6. I used Grab to/from the airport. didn't have to wait long to get a taxi. You have to go to level 4 at BKK though to take them.
  7. i might go to Singapore in mid January and was looking for an hotel. I need it to have good internet as I will have to several Zoom calls while I'm there. To my surprise many hotels in Singapore have bad internet connection, at least judging by their review. Even at Marina Bay Sands guests complained about it. Do you guys recommend any hotel you like and that you know have good internet and can be used for remote work? I already booked Capri by Fraser in Chinatown, as that's the area where I would mostly prefer to stay at. Most people say the internet is good, but there also a few discordant reviews about it on TripAdvisor.
  8. In non-transactional situations, I've noticed that most of the Thai guys that I meet through apps, are opened to threesomes, but almost all of them insist that the other top should only be another white guy. The only threesomes I've had with both the other two guys being Thai have been in saunas geared mostly to Thai-on-Thai crowd, like 39 Underground or R3. I've had the same experience in the Philippines. I would say the country in Asia, where it was easier for me to have a 3+ action with all guys being local is Vietnam. Many times in there, the guy I was chatting with would ask me if his friend/bf could join him meeting me and almost none would say no when I would be the one to propose that another local guy gets together with us.
  9. Thanks for this elaborate description of what goes inside the white party @BiggusDikkus. I've seen the big groups of Chinese in Silom. You can find them at DJ station and other clubs and in many saunas, especially R3. They tend to be a bit sticky rice, but when I was in Bangkok in November of 2019 I met two of them. They were both on tina(ice) when I met them, so definitely many of them are into drugs and prefer to come to Thailand because it's more accessible than in China, at least that's what one one of the guys I met told me. I'm also aware they like to throw big orgies/groups. On the same trip, I went to the apartment hotel in Silom of one of my Filipino friends that spends part of the year in Bangkok. As we were going inside the building, one of balcony doors was opened and there was loud music coming out of it, mixed with feeble moaning. My friend told me it was a group of Chinese throwing an orgy. He said it actually had been going on for two days. Didn't know about Sathorn Vista tough and that it might be Chinese orgy central. I might stay there for Songran. I believe this end-of-year in Bangkok ,there will be a high number of people from other Asian countries, like Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore as it's their first NYE in two years that they can travel freely. I'm still surprised though that with so many young and hot bodies in such close proximity nothing sexual happens. Always thought there was kind of a dark corner in these circuit parties where people could fool around. What do you think is the best time to go there? As I said, I just really have a bite of it, not really trying to finish the meal.
  10. Thanks for your reply, @vaughn. It's pretty much what I had imagined. I think I'll go since I will already be in Bangkok during that period and I know some Thai friends that are going. I still think a circuit party is something a gay guy should at least experience once, even though I know I'm not into it, but it can still be an interesting 1-2 hours. I'm more of an orgy/groups type of guy. No need to be around 1000 people, even 20 is enough as long as they are naked and hot.
  11. So can someone describe more in details what actually happens during them? They have performers on a stage and a dance floors where people stay and dance? Are there any breaks between the different acts? Also, how much actual sex happens inside? I'm 33 years old, so I guess I fit the main target audience, but I just feel like it's something I should at least once, even though it's not really my taste. $ years I went to one of those pool parties for Songran that are sold together with the circuit parties. I got bored after one hour and left.
  12. It's supposed to be the world pride right? I have been to the last two in NYC and Copenhagen. Will go to Sydney for the last week of the pride (first week of March). I'm sure it will be lots of fun. Have been only once before To Sydney but I really enjoyed my time in there. Met so many Asian guys, especially Taiwanese. I loved going to the 357 sauna, especially on their naked night and their foam party.
  13. I will definitely be there. I've only been to 3 Taipei pride before but they were all such a blast.
  14. Then why you want to cut short your time in Bangkok, which offers so many things to do and see? If you want to do that with Thai guy on your side, you would have a much higher chance of meeting a good one in Bangkok, where there are plenty of educated guys with excellent English skills. Much fewer from that category in Pattaya.
  15. Personally among Thais I like Benjamin and Austin ( he used to have an OF with his French bf, Bast but recorded a lot just by himself especially when he was in Europe). I guess the fact that I know both of them before they started doing OF makes it more exciting for me. You can find their videos and especially Ben's on the different tube videos or torrent sites.
  16. It all depends on what are you looking from your trip to Thailand. Is your main purpose having as much sex as possible/meeting as many as you can and everything else is secondary or you want plenty of sex but also nightlife/food/temples/nature/beach/historical sites, etc?
  17. I don't think it was Philippines Airlines fault. I traveled to Thailand in August and the waiting time at BKK for getting my luggage was atrocious. It actually took me only 10 minutes to go through immigration I waited around 45-50 minutes when I arrived internationally (with Korean Air) and then waited around 35 minutes when getting back again to BKK from Samui (with Bangkok Airways). These are way longer times than pre-COVID. Not much of a point in going quickly through immigration and then waiting so long for your luggage. I guess only advantage is that you can sit down while waiting for it, but after sitting for hours on a plane, I don't mind standing up a bit.
  18. @PeterRSI have seen that show. Quite a shock for a guy who only knows the current opened and tolerant Taiwan.
  19. Thanks so much @Londoner. I think is that one. Just saw the cover on Amazon. I've been trying to find for years. It just pops up in my mind from time to time. Amazing that some people in here know the guy and might have even made use of his services at the time. I guess I want to read the book first before asking how he is doing now (if he is still alive).
  20. No, I have heard of Hans Men Sauna but never been to as I have read its crowd consists mostly of bears. The sauna in Kaohsiung is actually called Hi-Man. Here is its website: http://www.hi-man.tw/. It's right by the main station and as you can see from its FB page, it has lots of event night: https://www.facebook.com/himan4tastyboy/ I was told the crowd is mostly young twinks and muscular guys, but that it doesn't get larger than 50-60 guys on their busiest nights and nothing like at Soi 13 in which can get in the hundreds. Well, you are going to be there 17 days. Maybe you just gave yourself a good reason for short get-out from Taipei😉
  21. Even though not directly connected to the video, can any of you helm me find the title of a book regarding the life of a Bangkok or Pattaya money boy? It should be along the lines of : "Confessions/Diary/Life of a Thai/Pattaya/Bangkok money boy". I remember seeing it at a bookstore at Changi's airport while on a long layover during my first or second trip to Thailand, so around 2009-2010. It was written in first person and would tell his story from his childhood, to him discovering being gay to start working as a money boy. I've been googling about it many times and can't seem to find the title.
  22. Thanks for your reply @PeterRS. Yeah, I've heard you have to do a self-test on day 1 and 2 and at the end of 7 if I'm not mistaken but it wasn't clear who do you have to report it to. Also I wonder if the hotels allow guests to you room hotel room during that first week as in theory it should be only "one person/room". Please, let us know how it goes for you. So have you been to the Hi-Man sauna and if so what's your opinion of it?
  23. Price-wise this year, it's a difficult to distinguish between high and low season. Now, it's true that hotels during July-August this year were incredibly cheap, but the cost of flights was the highest that has been in years. For December-January prices are higher then during summer, but they are still closer to what they were during pre-COVID low season. Flights on the other hand are cheaper now that they were during the summer. 2023 might be even more unusual. If China starts relaxing their entry requirements, as some are saying, at the end of the first quarter of 2023, be prepared to pay some of the highest hotel rates during so-called "low-season", as Thailand will definitely will be one of the countries they will head after a three year hiatus.
  24. Thanks for your quick reply @fedssocr. It's funny that I have already Indigo as the hotel to stay in Kaohsiung. I did it mostly because it was one of the few hotels where guests said that the internet was working fine, as I need to do some Zoom calls while traveling. I've had a lot if issues with internet in many hotels and Airbnbs in Taiwan. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the hotel. The reason I'm still undecided about going to Taiwan in January, beside the uncertain entry requirements is also the weather. I was there at the end of January 2020 and some days were really cold and rainy. One of my Taiwanese friends even gave me a scarf cause he thought I was too cold. I think usually the best months to go to Taiwan are October and November. Also they still have a mask requirement and that takes a lot from the fun of exploring the gay saunas. I experienced it this year in Bangkok and in Europe and the States last year. So, I'm thinking I might go to Vietnam from BKK.
  25. So I posted this question in another post, but asking it again in here since this one is getting more visibility. Has any of you guys been back to Taiwan since it reopened on October 13? If so, how was that 7-days period of " self-initiated epidemic prevention"? Did you have to do and show the result of any COVID test? I'm thinking of going to Taiwan in January. If I go I also plan to visit, beside Taipei, also Kaohsiung, as for one reason or another Tainan is the southernmost I have been to in Taiwan. I read good things about Hi-Man sauna in Kaohsiung. Seems like the crowd is mostly young twinks or muscular guys, though the crowd doesn't get as big as at Soi 13 in? Have you guys, @PeterRSor @fedssocrbeen to that one? Any other recommendation about Kaohsiung?
