I don’t think I’ve ever had that experience of having a worker watch straight porn. But the funny thing is, I think I would find that hot. Straight guys are my weakness. I find myself annoyed when straight guys label themselves bisexual in profiles or at strip clubs. It’s the Disney thing. I want what I can’t have in real life. I like the fantasy and to have what’s forbidden. So in some weird way, I think it would actually find it hot.

Yeah, it was definitely a long day. And I didn’t get a chance to do my pre-going out nap. Holy crap I feel old saying that. Tried to shake myself out of it and just get up. Wasn’t happening. I think the final thought was I’m here for another 10 days and then two weeks in October. I’ll get there. Maybe even tonight. The annoying thing is now it’s 3 AM and I’m up. Hoping I can fall back asleep. Gotta get this pattern set.

Sunday night update. There was no-show at Hotmale. At least for me. I fell asleep shortly after 9 PM after that last post. Fail. I’ll try again tonight. 😆

I’m gonna try to do that also before I leave. That’s definitely the big spot. The channel 7 thing sounds like a decade long tradition from what I read. It’s a lot more raw. The crowd is full of gambling guys going out of their minds. Just be sure to get there at least an hour early. We probably got the last of the seats left. Also, there is a dress code, believe it or not. Because it’s televised it’s almost like a temple visit. Collars are necessary. Pants. No toes showing. There was an enterprising couple of shops that would rent you what you need. I had to buy those elephant pants. They charge ฿60 for the rental. When you return them, you get 50 back. I kept them as a souvenir lol

Sunday update: I'll save ya time... no scene stuff to talk about today... so far at least. Spent the day with the guy I met on Grindr. Found a solid American style breakfast spot near my Airbnb. After we had some fun at said Airbnb and then made our way back to where we went yesterday for that market for the Muy Thai fights at Channel 7. Good time but holy crap... if you're claustrophobic, I'd pass. I'm not and it was almost too much for me. Energy was crazy in that place. Some of the fighters were rather hot too. Always a bonus. I hadn't checked out one of the infamous hyped up malls I'd been hearing about for months before this trip. Well dang it. Now I get the hype. We stopped at the one off the Siam BTS stop... not icon the other one. The one with the aquarium. Ok the aquarium was way overpriced but the mall itself really is spectacular. The smells are wonderful inside. The place is beautiful... even the bathrooms were like works of art. Just got back to my Airbnb and am trying to muster up the energy to head over to Hotmale. it's 8:15pm now. Should probably get my butt outta bed and off this laptop if Im going to do this.

I was wondering how that all worked. I assumed if you buy them a drink they hang with you for a period of time but not the night. Wow. That would be rude... totally sabotages their chances of making money. I knew I had no intentions of offing last night that's why I tipped the guy I liked on stage.

Good to know thank you. But I would imagine the boys are still gonna hang around? I haven’t done an off yet. I’ve had a couple massages. Met the guy on Grindr. He’s coming over today. But I haven’t gone through the off process yet. Definitely will at some point ..: probably a few times. But the Thai go-go bar process is still kind of funky to me. For now, just enjoying my time watching and tipping. I tipped a guy a couple times on stage at dream last night. I could tell it wasn’t the norm by the reactions. This dynamic happens often when I travel to cities that have scenes like this. I meet someone legitimately. But then at night I want to still go have fun at the bars. Often I will throw my friends under the bus that I travel with and say I’m only going to these bars because my buddies are here in town with me. 😜

I’m honestly pretty content with my sleeping compared to what I thought it would be. I have enough difficulty just going from the east to the West Coast of the United States when I travel. I’ve been dreading a 12 hour change. By staying up as much as I could those first couple days that definitely helped. Ideally I would love to get six or seven hours once I settle in. But it’s still the first week. I think a big part of it is still like I say the Christmas morning vibe of being here for the first time.

Yeah, I was trying to communicate that as much as I could. The only one that was really high-pressure was the good boys guy. He was nice but clearly he speaks English better than comprehending it. I totally get that. I’m that way with the languages I speak. I can communicate most thoughts, but when someone speaks back, it’s very difficult to understand. I was trying to give feedback, but I could tell he was not at all following what I was saying. By the way, another newbie rookie thing. By the name mamasan, I just always assumed they were female before arriving. 😆

I have not become an expert yet on differentiating race. I’m still learning. What earns my $ is sexy moves or cuteness. Don’t know if I’ve picked a favorite flavor of ice cream yet. I’m sure I will.

Understandable. I’m not against the diamond in the rough places. I like variety. The biggest thing that crushed that place for me was the ravenous pressure to pick a guy in the first 10 minutes. They gotta chill. 😆

My sleep pattern is still wacky. LOL. I get about 4 hours after the bars. Then a 2 hour nap before them the next night.

Saturday night report... 3 go go boy clubs down. Let's rank them. BEST: Dream Boy It's not even close. It's all about presentation. The quality of the guys, club, sound system, stage, everything from the venue I had been in the previous hour was VERY different. (Skip to #3 if you wanna know.) The seats were more comfortable. There wasn't too much drag show time (why is that a thing?) and effort was made on costumes and choreography but honestly, don't we just want to see hot guys? As I walked in, most of the boys were on their phones in the lobby. It's an odd business model to me but I'm sure there's logic behind it. I liked that it was a no-smoking venue. Smoking isn't a deal breaker for me, but clean air is much preferred. There was quite a range of dancers. A few muscles, lots of Twinks and everything in between even an older guy for those I guess into that. My favorite stage performance was when they just had six of the numbered guys dancing. I wish these bars did more of that. Let's skip the drag. Let's skip the not so aesthetically pleasing non- umber wearing guys doing routines. After the lineup does their shuffle on stage send them in groups in six to dance. Doesn't have to be choreographed. There was one guy who I didn't really even notice during the group stage walk around. When I saw him dancing in that group of six, he stood out and all of a sudden had my attention. His moves were sexy af. But yeah, dream boy makes these guys look like stars. By far, it was the best experience so far in the go-go bars. RUNNER UP: Fresh Boy I already did my write up earlier in this thread, but I liked the energy of this place. It's not as big as dream boy but there was enough eye candy to keep me happy. WORST: Good Boy Holy crap was this place terrible. From the moment I walked in it was disaster. There were only a couple clients and the desperation in the eyes of the boys on stage was so uncomfortable. The staring they did at seeing a new Customer walk-in was so eerie. The guy who I'm assuming was the Mamasan was instantly trying to get me to pick a guy. None of them really stood out to me as special. All of them looked absolutely miserable to be there. There were way too many drag performances. The constant pressure to pick a guy or tip was just obnoxious. I tipped one guy simply because he smiled while the others were so miserable. None of the routines were in any way exciting sexually or just for entertainment value. My favorite chuckle I got was between performance as they put an image on the screen behind, and they clearly stole an image from Google images because the photo had a watermark that said iStock on it. I'm not claustrophobic, but it just seems so cramped yet there was no one there. I really felt bad for the dancers.

Listen at my age (early 50s), having a cute guy in his 20s go wild about me is a blessing haha. So it's definitely a plus. But yeah while here at the amusement park, I wanna ride the rides lol

So I committed the ultimate sin on trips like this. I fall into this pattern often. I'm weak. I'm sort of boyfriended. This cute guy on Grindr tapped me. I started chatting with him. Super cute and nerdy. Teacher. Likes to cuddle. Spectacular abs. Way my type. Originally from Tokyo. I hadn't done anything touristy yet and today's the day for the giant market ( Chatuchak Weekend Market ) so I said we should meet up and do that. As we're walking around chemistry happens. Good quality guy. But that's the last thing I need when I want to partake in activities in Silom tonight. lol Had to fib and tell him I had already made plans with friends. But we're getting together tomorrow for breakfast and then the Muy Thai boxing thing. I'd been remarking how it's rain season here and I've yet to get soaked. Sure enough downpoured as I did my first outdoor activity. Fortunately as they usually are here I guess, it was over in an hour. Dozy and ready for bed but I'm NOT going to sleep through tonight.
