  1. Lol if he was a money boy, maybe that would be an option, but that would be rather awkward bringing a guy his age to an old man bar. ๐Ÿ˜† neither of these guys have any idea that I go to places like this. It would not be a turn on. Lol
  2. We both did ha ha. I think I found my fountain of youth in Bangkok. Here Iโ€™m exotic. Lol. I got pinched on the butt a couple times walking around the crowded rooms. People were definitely eyeing us up if not for the age difference the height difference lol I am about 6โ€™3. He is about 5โ€™3. Iโ€™m sure it was a sight to see. ๐Ÿ˜† Today is going to be there where it hits the fan. I have tentatively made plans to see both of them today. My teacher from Japan I havenโ€™t seen since before Pattaya. The one I met yesterday I might have to try to stall until tonight. But I still have that one last Go-Go bar to check out. And that takes priority over both of those two. ๐Ÿ˜†
  3. I would think they are. They had numbers. Which is odd because the guy on stage did not.
  4. A pic of that blond I mentioned at DJ station. ๐Ÿ˜†
  5. This one. Holy hell is he hot to me. Jupiter was the first of these bars where I said to myself "I don't want to leave because I might miss something." Sadly tonight was the one night I had to leave. I'd already made plans to meet up with Grindr Guy #2 at DJ Station. BTW, lots of eye candy there, including some hot Americans. There was one blond who kind of looked like MGK I'd give a kidney for a night with. But let's get back to Jupiter. What a planet. I only got to spend about 45 minutes but man they did everything right. Everyone is professional. I remember one of you saying you don't like how you have to pay the cover at the door and I get that but you're gonna pay it anyway. I love the layout of the two levels. The sound system was fantastic. Good light show. Every guy really is an A-list looking guy. I say that even though 95% of the guys there tonight are not my type. There was that one stand out who just made my jaw drop. He's in the photo below. He was called over to a table as I was about to leave. The screen grab from their Facebook post tonight just doesn't do him justice. Go watch the video (search Jupiter 2018 Bangkok). From the Facebook posts, it looks like he might be new... I only see him in the runway videos posted this week. I love that the shows are by the actual models and not some older expired dancers or drag queens. The shows were actually erotic and sexy. Even the waitstaff was super cute. They were some really cute twinks who haven't hit the gym yet enough to be featured on stage, but they're just my type. I love the runway presentation. It makes these guys look like stars. So much more energy than just having everyone stand in place depressed. I'm having a tough time deciding if it's my new favorite. The only reason it wouldn't be is it just because the guys aren't my type. Screw it it's my new number one. And it might just be because of that 1 guy. ๐Ÿ˜† Once I hit up Moonlight I can have a top 10. Jupiter Dreamboy Freshboy Super A Goodboy Banana Boy Hotmale Tawan Natureboy
  6. Ladies and gentleman. We might have a new number one. Jupiter is my new favorite planet. Wow. For a place that has almost no guys that are my type this place is insanely good. There is one guy that is absolutely fucking devastatingly hot. But I have to get to DJ station to meet up with my guy shortly. Ugh. I need to clone myself.
  7. Saturday night update... What's dumber than having a sort-of boyfriend while visiting Bangkok? Juggling 2. Got hit on by a cute 26 y/o guy visiting from Cambodia. Met for lunch. And sparks flew. So now there are 2. I'm not used to having this "problem." Being a balding overweight guy in his 50s, I've long since gotten used to being ignored in the Grindr world. We spent the day together and he wants to get together tomorrow - but I'm supposed to spend the day with my first Grindr guy. But I really wanna get some more massage and bar visits in LOL. Tonight the goal is to get into Jupiter and Midnight or Moonlight whatever it's called. Going to try to get those in before I meet the new Grindr guy at DJ Station. I'm too old for this. Part of me just wants to stay in and sleep. Aging sucks. ๐Ÿ˜†
  8. Had this conversation last night with a board member I hung out with. Having a real boyfriend can be a nuisance when you're on a trip. I really like this Japanese guy who tapped me on Grindr. At my age (50s) I'm super flattered to have a smart, hot teacher in his 20s showing interest. And I wouldn't slap the label boyfriend on it. It's pretty much just physical attraction, but we go out on dates and are all cuddly, holding hands. But it takes from my time and uh, "drive" to have fun at the bars. I'm here for a limited time. I gotta have my fun too! ๐Ÿ˜† As to your point about allowances, etc. I don't really call that a boyfriend. Paid companion sure. But if money is in the equation, it is what it is. Do I find anything wrong with it? Absolutely not. But it's just a long term escort vs short term.
  9. Glad I could bring a little something to this board. You guys have dropped lots of knowledge on me. The G'nite gummies are probably available in a different form in the US. Never tried any of the sleep gummies. But these G'nite ones have especially been helpful when I wake up too early like say 6am. I'll usually pop one in then and more often than not I am back asleep within 20 mins... that rarely happens normally for me.
  10. Yeah older and muscle guys aren't so much my thing, but I'll still drop by today to check it out. But Titan sounds appealing, even if a little overpriced.
  11. Yeah gotta agree here. The ravenous attack the fresh meat thing in many of these bars is the biggest negative of the trip. Again, I get it. These guys need cash. They have no customers and they see a couple Americans walk in all doe eyed. And of course I do politely reject. But especially Tawan last night. It wasn't 60 seconds in we were force matched up with guys we didn't want to interact with while others came by shoving dicks in our face asking for tips. It was just so obnoxious. On the flipside, like I said, I get it. We all gotta eat. And it's low season and opportunities to make some cash are limited for them.
  12. Good freakin' lord it's so overwhelming the number of choices in this city. ๐Ÿ˜† This is the first I think I've heard of Titan and it's across the street from my Airbnb pretty much. Looks to be much more in line with my type too... Arena sounds like a haven for muscle. But Titan's staff looks bullseye for my taste. Thank you!
  13. They did have a couple twinks but yeah the overbearing staff and muscle dudes hovering was just way too much. And to be fair, it's not just Tawan... being low season, many times when you walk in, you're the only customer in the place and people gotta eat so I get it why they pounce.
  14. Haha thank you. But Dream and Fresh were really the only ones we stayed for more than 10 minutes. One place my buddy wanted to check out is Arena. I don't think I've read anything about it. Going to do a deep dive now to see what you guys have said about it. Sounded intriguing.
  15. True. The other thing I think we weren't considering, especially me, is that it's low season. I don't have the perspective of comparing a visit during high season. This being my first trip, it's easy to forget I chose an unpopular time to visit.
  16. Friday night update... The night started with dinner at Sarica. I never went to the old place but I'm told this was a nice reno. Unfortunately the waitstaff training didn't get as much attention as the architecture. Brutally slow and incompetent. The food was a mix... the forum member I met up wth had a great chicken cashew dish. I should've gone with that. I had a little sample and it was great. The burger I ordered was meh. But the service was the big miss. His meal landed at our table about 20 minutes before mine. And after the first bite I kind of wished they'd forgotten to deliver it altogether. My forum pal wingman for the night had never been to the gogo bars so I figured we'd start with what I still think is the best of the bunch... Dream Boy. Dozens of guys tonight... huge selection. Surprisingly not as many customers as there were when I visited midweek last week. I figured on a Friday night the place would be jumpin'. There were several offables, but I wanted to show him a few more spots. Next we did a quick walk by the massage parlors. Then to go from best to worst, we dropped by Golden Cock/Nature Boy. It was livelier than my visit last week when I walked in and 2 not-so-attractive guys were sitting in silence. Tonight there were 8 or 9 people dancing to some loud music... but it was nothing worth sticking around for. I still don't quite get that place's existence. It's not really a gogo bar is it? Seems like a living room party with a few friends who all know each other. Since my wingman tonight is more into muscle than I am, I figured it was time to lose my Tawan virginity. This was an awful experience. It was shady used car salesman pressure times 1000. We were swarmed and couldn't take a breath without some over juiced behemoth begging for a tip. I was ready to go within the first 3 mins... but I assumed my wingman was enjoying since there isn't much muscle in Thailand like this. We'd only met tonight so I wasn't picking up on his cue that he was more than ready to get out asap too. Never stepping foot in that place again. Yikes. Stopped into Super A to see if the muscle boy was working. He was. I got his Line info because neither of us wanted to be the only customers in the place. We remarked how itโ€™s hard to understand how that place stays in business. When you turn on to the street the boys freak out and run into the bar to line up. Itโ€™s so awkward. Some of the guys are cute too. But their location is probably their big obstacle. Last stop of the night was at Fresh Boy. Again it seems like it was busier midweek last week when I dropped in on my first night. Still lively though... guys weren't as hot as Dream, but there were a few off worthy guys. My buddy called it an early night. I popped my head briefly into Hotmale, but didn't see anything enticing. So no changes to my list. Dreamboy retains the top spot. I still haven't done Jupiter or Moonlight. Will get to it.
  17. I did not. The guy that I liked slept in. And I had to get back to Bangkok.
  18. By the way, as much as @bkkmfj2648 schooled me on the fun sites of Pattaya, I was even able to impart a little bit of my rookie Thailand wisdom. I was shocked that he had never heard of Gโ€™Nite gummies at 7 Eleven. Seems like every YouTube video I watched before coming over here talked about them. Iโ€™ve definitely noticed better sleep when I have one before bed. My other contribution was... he had never noticed the little bakery right next to Soda. It was a nice little air conditioned spot to watch the boys size up passersby if you get the little table near the entrance against the windows. Get the biscotti cheesecake! Banana smoothie was decent too.
  19. Back in the 'Kok. Thanks to @bkkmfj2648 for being an awesome tour guide. Beyond showing me the fun spots, it was nice to have a wingman too. That's why I was asking/suggesting you guys all do an annual thing. There was one "pillow bar" we went to last night that had I been alone would have been a total dud. But given that he knew a few of the performers, they put on a show for just us and all of a sudden it was a raucous party with 100 dollar bills (well, baht) flying everywhere and the boys let loose. Jomtien was great. I don't think it'll be a contender for a place I'd live. But it's cool that it's there for a weekend getaway spot when I do live here. The Airbnb I had was in his same building which was random and convenient. It's perfectly situated between the beach and the bars. Getting back to BKK, it felt like... sigh, I'm home. Before touching down on Thai soil, I really didn't think Bangkok would feel like this. It was more just where my flight would land. My gut still tells me I'll like Chiang Mai more. But we'll see. Now it's a few more days here before I head to Ko Samui on the 9th. Didn't think there would be any gay life on KS, but was glad to learn today there will be a small strip of fun. Tonight it's back to bouncing around the Silom spots with a board member. BKK was the first I met from this board. And I'll be this member's first human connection. Maybe I'll do a little live reporting tonight.
  20. Iโ€™m sure iโ€™ll visit boystown next time. Iโ€™m here. Itโ€™s just that BKK said it really sucks. just kidding. Hes sitting across from me and I made him panic when I said that. ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† we could have gone back at midnight for the show at xboys but yeah, I was so tired. I could barely keep my eyes open.
  21. While we didn't see many military boys, @bkkmfj2648 gave me the whirlwind tour last night of Super Town and Boyz Town. Very fun night... I know it's not Bangkok, but the play by play is over in my "Adventures" thread on the Bangkok board.
  22. Friday September 4 Update... Good morning from Jomtien. Thanks to the local legend @bkkmfj2648 I got the whirlwind all in one night tour of both Pattaya City and Jomtien. I took the BTS from Silom to the airport and he virtually navigated me to the $5 busses to Pattaya. Sat next to a cute (but straight) chatty twink from Hong Kong who was going to Pattaya to visit friends. Was lucky to hit no traffic and arrived in Pattaya about 3 hours after leaving Silom. I wasn't the only American in town... 5,000 sailors made me #5,001. We saw a small sample of the military boys in town, but seems like they stayed far to the north near their ship. I don't have a bar by bar breakdown because honestly it's all a blur and they run together in my mind. But my overall thought... I'm glad I made the trip and when I come back from Chiang Mai in October, I think I'll spend a couple more nights here in Jomtien. Pattaya was kind of run down as I anticipated. But I didn't realize Jomtien would be so different. The 2 were one and the same in my head before this visit. Supertown in Jomtien was a much nicer vibe, cleaner and fun. Now I will have to say we went through Pattaya's Boyz Town at a very early hour before the bars got jumpin'. I'm just going off the neighborhood walk. We first grabbed a bite to eat at Tinnie's in Jomtien. I hesitantly ordered chicken parm. When a restaurant features several types of cuisine in the US, that's usually not a good sign. While it wasn't the best chicken parm I've had, I didn't regret the choice. @bkkmfj2648 gave me the rundown for the night. Next we did something I'd been wanting to do but had no idea how they work... we jumped in the back of one of those pickup trucks where you just hop on and off for 15 baht. Fortunately he knew the routes and process because I'd have been too chickenshit to try it myself. When we arrived in Pattaya City I startled him because I was having an orgasm and heart attack at the same time at the sight of what might have been the most beautiful guy I'd seen on this trip so far. He wasn't Asian. Probably American. He had a chiseled face of art, was wearing a loose white shirt and pants... I was just stunned. As for the rest of PC, it was less beautiful. But I'm glad we checked it out. Had I not been up at 6am, we might have gone back. But I was dozing off at the of the bars by 11pm. When we got back to Jomtien, we caught the boys on the street bars doing their dance routines. The thing that struck me right away was they actually appeared to be enjoying themselves. They smiled. They laughed. They pranked each other on stage. So many of the guys on stage in Bangkok just evoke pity and sorrow as they stand there motionless waiting to get off'd. These boys were not sending off the "my life is miserable, save me" vibe. Now I like younger guys... generally college up to about 28. Think Ryan Phillippe in Cruel Intentions. That's my sweet spot. A little muscle is ok. But twink status is my thing. The boys in Jomtien looked too young for even me lol... I didn't think that was even possible. Most were about 100 pounds and 5'2. (Yours truly is well over 6 feet tall.). I was assured these guys were all in their 20s, but man I'd have to have 4 forms of ID if I were to off many of them. We bounced around from bar to bar all night... from "pillow bars" to cabarets to the street bars. All had a unique appeal. I really can't pick a favorite. There were some really cute massage boys sitting outside their parlors too. I liked the vibe of Supertown. It's more unified than Silom where I"m staying in Bangkok. I like that it's one continuous stretch without having to wander a few blocks. Besides the guys appearing to be happy, the other most striking thing was the detail in all the shows. The choreography and costumes... it's not usually a big draw for me. I'm visiting places like this to stimulate other senses. But the effort these guys in all the bars in Supertown put in is really impressive. I tipped many of the talent... but not as much as @bkkmfj2648. I think the dude funded a few college educations last night. I didn't do an off since honestly I wasn't horned up... my Grindr guy back in Bangkok has kept me satiated. Plus after waking up at 6am (unnecessarily ugh) and the trip from Silom to the airport to Pattaya on the bus, I was going to bed solo. I snagged a few Line numbers in case any want to have a session this morning, but most gave the impression nothing happens for them before noon. I get it. I was that age. But I'm a morning wood kinda guy lol Heading back to Bangkok today but the Pattaya excursion was definitely worth it. Pretty sure I'll do a 2-3 day visit when I come back in October.
  23. I like it a lot so far. Just met up with the local legend and we had a great dinner and walked around the complex. Gonna be a fun night.
  24. I'm ready to salute at a moment's notice.
  25. The whole sick relative, need money for classes or I'll be kicked out, dying pet routine is certainly not unique to Thailand. My buddies and I always joke about Colombian guys and their stories. It's why I never give a real phone number or social media account. Always use a traveling WhatsApp or Line account in the Thailand case.
