  6. During my navy days in the 70's I was on HMS Ark Royal, we had been at sea for several months and Norfollk va was our first port of call. Right outside the dockyard gate was a porno shop with cubicles at the back to sit and watch 8mm cine films on a small screen for a 25 cent in the slot. A large glory hole either side. I had a cracking wank in there. 17yo.
  7. I was looking at this yesterday, It's still possible to enter for 60 days by buying a 60 day visa online before you travel. 40 dollars. A 90 day visa for Vietnam is only 25 dollars. Thailand seem to be shooting themselves in the foot. Then people on the socials harp on about most people don't need 60 days. I like to have 60 days, I'm retired, I'm not a criminal, I behave myself, always. 90 days in Vietnam is over in two days time, it's been fabulous, I will almost certainly be back here in December and January and cancel my 2 month booking in chiang mai. If as often mentioned they are doing this to stop the bad behaviour and criminal activity, they are going about it the wrong way imo. It's not like criminal and bad behaviour starts on day 31 of your 60 day visa.....
  8. Lager. Ice cold. I drink too much, the beer belly is proof. Being an ex navy lad, beer/lager is defacto. Beer in vietnam is ridiculously cheap unfortunatley. Sitting at a beach cafe watching the boys play volleyball in shorts and san miguel is filthy cheap. (pity the boys aren't cheap too) Last few days and it's back to malaysia where beer is ridiculously fucking expensive so hopefully I might lose a bit of fat. before I retired 2 years ago I would happily spend all weekend binge drinking beer..... I've managed to stop that, but I do like a few pints come sun down. I prefer a 4.7% or 5% lager, nothing stronger or my old head hurts too much the next day, that said, Polish Perla lager has a kick on it which has yet to be rivaled, fortunatley I haven't seen that on my travels.... I never drink on travel/flight day or the night before... too old for that shit. Back in malaysia I have a car so that helps with not drinking, altho I will have a one small bottle of tiger with my meal at the foodcourt and drive home, never more.
  9. from time to time my profile says i am 'generous and rewarding' That's the hook i use when I want a MB to find me. I prefer being approached rather than make the move for a MB. I've found Gridr can be picky what 'financial' terms you use when in that MB arena on the app. Other than that I just list my pervertions and fetishes to see what that attracts. I don't have face pics on my profile but available to send when I am comfortable. You should also check out the hornet app, that is quite popular but a little more social than sexual imo I also have HEEYSAY app here in vietnam.

anyone asks you to show money, out of curiosity or to talk about money exchange, walk. and keep walking. Happened to me in malaysia, like the friendly idiot I am I engaged, hubby pulled me away in seconds and told me off.. If they want to see money, they're trying to get some

I love the Eagle bar. Haven't been there since 2014 It was dance and bar upstairs and smoking/cruise dark area downstairs. next door, dirty dicks, fabulus fetish bar. I will never forget the balcony you could stand and piss over, in to a bath tub below, and who ever was laying in it. Eagle and Dirty Dicks were my only haunts back then. How it is today, I couldn't say.
  12. I've done it two times now, thinking it would be easy. I'm getting on in years so I don't get the choices I once did as a younger fit man. I figure you can ask for your desires, if the person is agreeable you pay the fee and enjoy. Not particularly pleasing and I probably won't do it again. Sex is more enjoyable if the other person actually finds you attractive, in my case I am probably not. One was a MB in bangkok, the other a MB in Vietnam.

SUNDAY AT THE SAUNA So no towels today, just the flannel, but as we were leaving at around 8pm the lad doing the lockers was putting in full size towels for business tomorrow. So it seems weekends are naked days and weekdays you get a towel. Quite possibly for saving money on a busy weekend with laundry...... I suppose I could have asked..... Beer and fruit today along with the iced water. I also discovered they have a fine sample of poppers on sale. It was very busy today with a good mix of age race and body shape. Some delicious specimens on offer, I had a very enjoyable time as did hubby. One very beautiful young man wasn't at all fussy who had a pop at him so that saved me three million vnd. Of particular note, a very nice vietnam chap, I guess 35ish, short, buff as fuck, pecks to die for, 'forced' me to lick his chest and his very defined V while he stood in front of me in the steam room as I sat in the dark while the nice looking chap on my left decided my cock was nice enough for him to investigate. Delicious. Buff chap wanted me to go to a room with him but I politely declined. I'm there to satisfy my lust, not anyone else's. Of note, as I sat on a flat sofa bed thing in the darker room, an overhead fan provided much needed cooling relief, as did I to the two asian daddies fucking right next to me as I sat there, I provided my right shoulder to the bottom for his left leg to rest on, making it easier for him to lay back and let the top to do what he was doing. It's nice to help people.... cheers
  15. Indeed it does happen and that last sentence did make me chuckle.. thanks for the report.

GENLTMAN'S SAUNA UPDATE We made a return visit on thursday evening, arriving at about 5.30pm (it opens at 5pm closes at 10pm) It was expectedly quiet which was nice, because we could have a steam and shower and watch people arrive. Sure enough it did get a little busier by 6.30pm This time, worth noting, that full size towels were in the lockers along with the small flannel. There's a lot of mentions in the google reviews that no full size towels were available. I guess it is possible that like the sauna in Hove back in the uk, they have naked days, altho if that is the case, they don't seem to be advertised. We also noticed this time that there were very few refreshments, last time a table of fruit and iced beer were available along with iced water. This time, there was just the iced water and crackers. Again, perhaps week days are different to weekends. We shall find out later today, Sunday, as were probably going back for a couple of hours, so I shall update later... We had a good time, lots of attention paid to both of us, a mix of ages and races, probably 25 people at most. We made friends with a very nice 22yo (possibly the tallest ever thai lad I've seen) from Bangkok, in town for a few days. I had to remind the older man trying to play with his cock while he was talking to us that no does actually mean no. He was very rude, the Thai lad told him two times he wasn't interested but still he tried to have his way. We pointed the Thai lad in the direction of the two gay bars in the area, he had no knowledge of them, so that evening he decided he was going to Q bar and when he gets to Hoi An in a day or two, he will visit the bar there. It's nice to help people. Cheers.

Ever heard of flying? It's quite popular these days
  18. When I was last in Bangkok, April '26 the bangkok symphony orchestra was putting on concerts in Lumphini park on a sunday afternoon. I suspect it doesn't happen year round, but no harm in asking at your hotel reception
  19. I've spent around 14 months in malaysia over the last 2 years, if you are a gay traveller this is not a destination to choose for a gay holiday. Certainly don't go around waving pride flags and shouting your sexuality from the roof tops. Yes, there are people on the apps, you'll likely need a vpn to access the apps depending on your service provider. Malaysia is a majority-Muslim country with Islam as the official state religion. That should tell you all need to know. Venues have been raided and arrests made in the time I have been here. They make it very public when such an event occurs. When I am here I live in on a small residential estate, in an apartment given to us to live in rent free by my husbands chinese family, we have to make up the story that we are just friends, living in a 3 bed apartment, but that doesn't stop the gossip and rumours about me being a bad man and I should not be trusted. It's very handy that my Husband understands malay otherwise we would not have heard the rumours about us.
  20. The Quarter by UHD Saladaeng is in my experience, somewhere I will never stay again. It's only merit is it's location. We checked in very much looking forward to our “executive suite’ The last 9 months hadn’t been the most comfortable so anything executive sounded like a win win… We opened the door of the suite to find a very disappointing room. It was large, but really, a table and two old chairs, no sofa, a funny little ‘office desk’ with a fake brass lamp? Are you fucking kidding me? For a month? This place hasn’t seen anything new since 1972… look at the state of it…so tired…. Not executive by my standards…. OK so maybe the hotel photos are misleading on booking dot com and I’m not checking what the room actually has as I hit OK on the checkout. I went down to reception and explained I wasn’t happy, I am here for a month, I’ve just forked out 69.445 baht for this, I want a fucking sofa, we can’t spend a month with just a table and two chairs! The chap at reception understood my dilemma, checked his screen and found us a room much the same but with at least, a window sofa seat kind of arrangement, I didn’t have much choice but to take it…… The laundry is a rip off, I did not like seeing a cockroach among the ham and sauage on my one of two breakfasts, breakfast is fucking disgusting, to put it midly. On a side note, I have seen a number of asian porn movies made in the rooms at the hotel, I recognised the orange window seat and bedroom.
