This infuriates me beyond belief! It is truly a sad commentary of what has happened to the USA during the Trump regime.

I am one of the unlucky ones that have been robbed at gunpoint a few times in Brazil. Two times in Sao Paulo and once in Rio. But, both in Sao Paulo were at the Citibank and in broad daylight when I was getting money from an ATM and the hotel told me not to go there alone. One time wasn't really a robbery but the police stopped my hotel car coming home from Gala Gay during Carnival and they checked us all for drugs but they took part of the money in my wallet. I said nothing to them and let it go and looking back, I still am not sure if this is a robbery at gunpoint or just a shakedown.

Both were Asian and both lived there. One lived there all his life and one was born in Japan. Both were versatile and both on PrEP. For the life of me, I don't get anyone who is gay being a supporter of Trump unless money is their only issue and they believe his agenda will help them keep a bit more in the end and they can zero about future generations of gays. If I have known someone for a while and they need help, I'll help them. I get asked very rarely for help but when I do, I'll normally help and that does not mean they ask again or ask quickly. But, lets face it, we are wealthy compared to these guys and if 50 USD will make a difference in their life, I'm happy to give that to someone I know and have spent time with if I believe they need it. The truth is, you take care of those that take care of you. Not knowing someone, I'd never send money. However, otherwise, if I believe they actually need help and they never or rarely ask, I'll make some arrangement.

It depends on your lifestyle and what you want to do and how much you want to do it. Living in Bangkok is not cheap, but could be easily done on 2k per month but not with many trips to the bars. Short times on apps are about 60-70 USD. Food is cheap if done on your own but Western restaurants are more expensive.

Americans have been listening to hate speech for 2 years from a sitting President. Did you really think that they would have no results? Yes, I do blame everyone who continues to support this president for the bombs and the recent deaths. Yes, his supporters have this burden to carry. They know that their continued support will result in more violence but they don't care. They may say they don't condone murder or violence.
