I think there is more to come in the years to come. As the middle class erodes, the poor will explode both financially and literally. I know I would. When you have no money for bread, you steal it or do whatever you need to get it. Isn't that what put old Jean Valjean in prison? I worry about the future because as things get worse for the minority, the majority will flee and leave the rest to clean up the mess. What is happening there is not surprising to me in the least. Anger and frustration builds and people start to express themselves. That with a militarized police force will just lead to more trouble. IMHO As a society, we seem to place more value on military than education and more value on prisons than peace. When those things happen, the results are easily predictable.

I am a firm believer in one's right to die when they wish and in the way they wish. Whatever an adult wishes to do with their own body is totally up to them. I much prefer to take my own life than to have a member of my family taking care of me in the end. I have always said that I wish to go out my own way. I just wish they made it easier for people to do.
