She has been one of my favorite actresses for years and I loved Brothers and Sisters. I hope to get to Broadway to see her. If others get there, please let me know what you think!

Australian actress Rachel Griffiths, best known in the U.S. for her work on HBO's Six Feet Under and ABC's Brothers and Sisters, has made an acclaimed Broadway debut in the new play Other Desert Cities. Griffiths, who is well-known in Australia for her stage work, tells NPR's Scott Simon she would have been happy if all she had ever done was act onstage. "Theater was where I began and what I really thought my career would be in Australia," she says. "That was my thing. ... The movies were an unexpected joy, and television even more unexpected." In 1994, the Melbourne native was cast in the quirky independent Australian film Muriel's Wedding. The film's success led to more movie roles and eventually to TV roles in the dark family dramas Six Feet Under and Brothers and Sisters. "I've been playing in families for 10 years, which is quite absurd, exploring the dichotomies and seething undercurrents in the American family," she says. Even as Griffiths became something of a cult favorite for her American TV roles, nabbing a Golden Globe, she still commuted back to Australia during breaks, performing in plays as diverse as A Doll's House and Proof. Her appearance on Broadway — in a play that ironically explores the dichotomies and seething undercurrents of an American family — feels almost like coming home. "I had the great joy to practice being a stage actor outside the microscope of Broadway and not coming to Broadway until I was fully formed," she says. In Other Desert Cities, Griffiths plays Brooke, an author who's working her way out of a nervous breakdown by writing a tell-all memoir about her family. LOL You may be right. But, he is not my type and not interested in him that way. I just honestly never spent time watching him perform until last night. When I saw how great he was, I was impressed. I thought he was just some teen girl fad. After watching him, I see real talent. I then watched a lot of his videos and clips. An impressive young man. IMHO

I had not scummed to him charms until the X Factor last night. I never really understood what all the fuss was about. However, when I saw him sing last night, I was impressed. This kid has a great voice, amazing presence and staying power. I might need group therapy.

A friend of mine sent this to me today and I wanted to share. I enjoyed it a great deal as I often forget that I grew up in Alabama in the 70's. I am so happy to have moved away when I was young as I was able to get out and meet people that helped me become the best person I could be in a world that accepted me for me.

I totally agree! I have been pretty disappointed in him but he does lean in the direction I like (even if he needs to be propped up with everyone around him).

Most likely not! Did you see the Queer as Folk UK version? I didn't understand it as much as I did the US version. Are you sure both countries speak the same language? Also, for those of you who have not seen the season 1 yet, it is on Itunes.

I just love Shameless. Season 2 just started and it was a great start. I love the characters. I love the story and I love the writing. It is one amazing show. If you have not seen this, go back and watch last season. It is phenomenal.

I played Santa at a party Friday night. I had all these guys and gals sitting in my lap. I had a fun night. The party was work related and all over 18 and drinking. It is always fun to see how friendly people get with Santa the more mohita's they drink. Even the guys I thought were straight were asking for a kiss from Santa. Man, I hated Xmas until my favorite "straight boy" on a dare, gave me a tongue kiss. As for Mrs. Claus, jomtien, I would never leave you! You are always Mrs. Claus to me! I wish I were there for YaYa as it sounds fun. They know how to throw a party! And, they seem to be one of the only bars in Sunnee able to do so! Keep it up YaYa!

As to your comment that this site has a niche focus on ladyboys, I'd say you still have a lot to learn about what a ladyboy is as your statement shows a lack of understanding about either this site or ladyboys in general. My dearest Bob, I have a Thai boyfriend that I Instant message with, chat with and phone with often. I also supervise a team of over 10 full-time workers in India and deal with them on a daily basis. With all the above, English is not their native language. I learned over the years to understand more than most as I need an understanding to do my daily business. I can understand Pong so much easier than I can someone from an English speaking country with poor grammar and spelling skills. (although my skills in both areas also need lots of work due to my dyslexia)

Why not try one of the two main gay hotels in Boyztown? Cafe Royal or Ambiance? Both are close to Marriott and in walking distance. They are also a short stumble from any bar in the area you like.

I don't think you were a member of this site many years back when we were shut down by the censors. We filed a complaint, had to send them information about ourselves, edit a banner image on the homepage and we were turned back on. They were targeting gay sites. It was obvious to all. That was under Thaskin and it was pretty bad. IMHO. I thought it would return under his family and I think my assumptions may be true.
