LOL, I'm afraid no photos of me in the PJ's. But, I do this only in Business Class. However, I have found flying to USA in Business Class very reasonable if you are not using American based airlines. Hainan and other Asian and Middle Eastern airlines have great deals in Business Class.

A very interesting unfolding of events in the House of Representatives today. The House voted to condemn Trumps remarks. It is now on public record and Pelosi planned this perfectly.

Nothing surprises me any more. But, I did get a PM from Leroy and do believe this was an honest mistake. We all have those moments where we write something before we think. I know I have done it so many times in the past that I can't even count and then woke up the next AM and thought, why did I write that.

I always have wet wipes and do wipe down things. I have not thought about gloves. I also have used a face mask in the past but need to do it more in the future. On my last return to LOS, there were coughs and sneezes the whole flight. I was worried but didn't get sick. Now, I have a way to better plan for the future. I do take pajamas for a long flight and am always comfortable.

I thought I was bad and I do some of this when I fly but she has given me a true lesson in travel.

Welcome to the site. I have lived in the Middle East and have a great appreciation for many people there. "Camel jockey" is a racist and derogatory term and using it is not acceptable here. I'll let this stand as a warning but the next time, you are gone from the site. I hope this was just a one time mistake.

I don't disagree with anything you said. But, I have very smart and educated friends who support him. Thus, be weary for the next election. Friends, both retired Dentists, living in Florida, love him and only watch Fox news and have a gay grandson. They do not see anything wrong with anything he does and truly believe all the news against Trump is fake. He has a way to make people believe him regardless of how outlandish. That is why I think the election may not go as we wish in 2020.

I also think politics are a very tough subject on this or any board. I never understand someone not seeing the way I do as things seem to obvious to me. But, I am sure that RA feels the same. We all come to the voting both with different objectives and different mindsets. I never thought Trump would be elected but I fear that this may not be the last time we see him or a bigot in the White House. 1/3 of our country buys is BS. If they vote, they will. Why? I agree. But, blacks support him, Hispanics support him, women support him and gays support him. Not the vast majority but he has some from all. Why? I don't get it. But, many people do not vote based on one issue. I do. I vote based on who they will appoint to the SCOTUS as I think that is what truly separates the candidates.

Trump is a racist. People that support him are either racists or misguided. But, that is my belief and most of my friends from Bama support him as they think he is Godly. IMHO, again, very misguided. He is a con man. He always has been and I do not see why people fall for his cons. But, I do get why many support him as all they care about is putting conservatives on the bench and he is doing that in record numbers. Will he win? Maybe yes or no. As long as our system is the way it is, it is possible. I do not see any landslide in either direction. Our country is as divided as this thread. There are those who feel he can do no right and those who feel he can do no wrong. I think for now, it is a toss up. It is the democrats to blow and they are good at that. They always have been and I don't see that changing.

Yes, I read this and found the whole thing odd. The boy was also 18 at the time. I am sure this is much more press and attention than he wanted. I do remember there were other questions about Spacey's past in the UK but not sure if any charges have been filed anywhere other than this case.

Peter, yes, you are correct in the outward long layover. I did that but not an issue for me to save so much money. Also, the only part of the trip that was not business was the one from BKK to CKG but there was little difference in the seats and I had 3 full seats alone and was able to lie comfortably. But, I knew the small size of those seats and it was not worth the money to upgrade that leg as so few seats and it just wasn't worth it for me. I much preferred the longer distance business. Now, one way to get around this would be to book Thai Air or Thai Smile out of BKK non-stop. However, both had limited luggage and I had 32k times a few and the cost was nuts for the extras. For those that don't like the long layover, the Cathay flight is an alternative if premium economy is OK for you to travel. I didn't know Hainan was ranked so high. I agree their service is good.

Yes, it is unusual for me. And, I'm not sure if that is what required the Visa this time. I don't remember getting that visa for the Bangkok, Shanghai, Chicago trip. I liked Cathay Pacific Premium Economy and a good price for USA at 1700 USD. But, for a few hundred more full Business is a good deal IMHO.

I hate anyone on a speedy motorbike in any city. I love my Harley, but I know how to drive it. The rentals for the super speeds are rented by young horny men who can't fuck so they take their aggression out on something else between their legs. Can I just say, "lock them up?" Speed demons are dangerous and I have been almost run over by many of them over the years.

I would think it would have more to do with others taking their jobs away. Just like the Americans and the Mexicans. Americans are really upset that the people from South America are coming to the USA and taking all those hard outdoor jobs that Americans love. Just like the Thais are upset that the other Asian countries are coming here taking all their clients from the bar business. However, one of these I believe and the other is total BS.

There are so many airlines now that travel back to USA gets cheaper. I gave up trying to use the American companies years ago as the cost to upgrade is insane. Hainan airline has great tickets to USA in Business Class for cheap. I recently got one for 2200 USD. Now, the PITA part was it required 2 stops in China. This requires you to get out your luggage each time and you have to apply and get a 24 hour transit visa. This is a pain but if in Business, they have someone meet you at the gate and walk you though things. The seats are very comfortable. They lay back fully and the food is the best I have had in ages. They gave a full bread basket with each meal and tons of good food. The service is great and the movies were plentiful (perhaps as I don't see that many there were many I could watch). A few things: one is that the business class seemed to be filled with younger Chinese guys. I am not sure if they were being paid for by their company or their own but they were young and cute and often had nicer phones, laptops and clothes than I do. The cheap fares seem to be out of CKG and that is a 15 hour non-stop to JFK. It is a long flight. I flew with them to Chicago a few years back for 2200 USD. Do NOT use Expedia. They are horrible and tell you lies. Ex: they said my tickets were the same and luggage was book all the way through. They lied and their customer support people do not know anything about rules for China. Totally useless. I'll never use them for flights again. I still use them for rental cars for never again for flights. Plus, they promised certain seats which Hainan was not aware of so I called to change them a few days after purchasing the ticket. Lounges were good but not great. Plenty of food and the one in Beijing had nice showers (not great but OK).
