I have opened a ticket with Invision (the forum people) as I get the opposite. I am supposed to be logged out but it never logs me out on my IPhone. However, when I am on GayRomeo on an IPhone it logs out every time the browser closes but it does not on an Android. I have been trying to find a solution to this that works but it is not an easy find. Most of the time, we build for computers and try to make compliant for devices but every time an update is made to IOS or Android, it changes the way things work.

I was in Pattaya recently and the apps were great. But, IMHO, Bangkok still kicks ass with the gay bar scene and the vast number of guys. I like the new gay area much better than before and have been there 4 times recently and that is about 3 times more than last year before it changed. So, I voted Bangkok! But, I also enjoy Pattaya but can't really comment on the bars there as I have not been in ages.

There wasn't much for me to say. I have said for a long time to go to the main site, log in and click forums. It is two steps that I thought was fairly simple. I am on the site 10 times per day and I do read threads of interest to me. Do I read every thread? No. Do I respond to every PM I receive? Yes. So, Martinsen, if you expect someone to reply to your every comment, send a PM. That gets attention. I do often ready snarky, pissy comments and ignore them. I figure if someone was proactive enough to send a PM it is important to them. But, sometimes people just like to be pissy and speak. I'm not going to administer every comment unless it is reported as a problem or a PM is received. Does that help you? I realize you new here but I've been pretty consistent for years. Adults in an adult forum can communicate with each other in a friendly way without a Daddy needed to step in daily. So, to clarify, I love trip reports, bar reports, massage reviews, etc. I am not into photo only threads, politics, or feuds. If you keep watching me, you will see this trend is consistent for 15 plus years.

Sorry KJun, I tried to merge two threads but the last one took over the title and replaced yours. For years, I go to the main site, I log in and click forums and am logged in. Staying logged in for massive amounts of time is a security issue with sites and ends up getting us in trouble with the hosting provider. I believe the sign in is ever 8 hours but I'll check on that. The easy way to get into these forums is to log into boytoy.com main site, click log in, you are then logged in and click forums. That is what I have done for years. So, if others are doing something different, please share with me. The forums should not be bookmarked as they change. It is the www.boytoy.com site that is the parent site and controls logins for forums.

I had a very nice Italian dinner tonight at Azzurro. It is a nice and small Italian place near Phra Kanhong. The food was good but the deserts were excellent. 2 things I forgot to mention. Saturday was a holiday so all the bars were closed in Boyztown. But, XBoys was open for business. Hornet was VERY active. I logged in each day and found someone within 20 minutes and had a great time with each. No issues at the hotel with guests.

I like both Best Tailors in Bangkok and Tailor on Ten. The last one is more expensive but both are great!

I had some friends from the USA who wanted to see Pattaya for a few days and I took them for a visit. It was not a gay bar visit as this was a straight couple from the USA. We stayed at the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel and it was great. Beautiful view, great room, good breakfast, and good service. All in all, 2 nights and 1 full day and filled with activities. I loved the pool at the Royal Cliff and I loved staying there in the day after breakfast.

I found it interesting on the Pulse site that it talked about taking PrEP in various ways. But, I have not heard about this until the last few months and curious of others use this just when they travel to Thailand for vacations or if it is something they take year round. Also, the cost of this seems very low for here 1500 per month. And, I have seen a massive rise in the number of profiles that say they are on PrEP with Thai guys. Lastly, did I read somewhere that taking PrEP lowers risk of other STDs? I thought it was for HIV only. So, you see, I know little about it but do see a rise in users.

This may also have to do with the level of sexual activity. I know guys that do not have sex except when they travel and thus for the majority of the year they have no need to take PrEP. But, I do think it is an individual decision based on planned activity.

Please do. It is even low season now but I really did like the places more than Soi Twilight. Perhaps more of my type. But, the guys are great and sexy and the bars were all crowed as the night went on. IMHO it was just as good as before although not as many bars right next to each other. I actually prefer the new bars more but no place for sitting and drinking and watching guys walk by (think Dicks) but I am sure someone will put one in soon.

Well, your experience has not been mine. I visited the new area three times in the last 2 weeks and every time the bars had plenty of customers and tons of boys. Not sure what your definition of doing well is, but they meet that qualification for me.

I agree! And, if I had been alone, I would have been lured in. But, then I would have missed a sexy lad from LuckyBoys. So, I am glad we stuck to the schedule. I did like the vibe of the new Soi and look forward to seeing other areas in the future. I was also pleasantly surprised at how nice the new places were. The owners have put time, money and thought behind the new places. (except the old mamasans who have the waiters ask you for a drink) I guess some things never change.

I have been worried since Soi Twilight closed as so many have said the area was gloom and doom and the gogo scene in Bangkok was dead. I have no idea where these ideas came from. The scene is just as active and vibrant as before. The venues have changed. The beer bars are gone but the bars and the gogo scene is great. I was in three bars tonight on Patpong 1: FreshBoys, LuckyBoys, and Screwboys. All three were excellent. All had a plethora of sexy guys to choose from and the boys were just as plentiful as before. In fact, I think the bars have been upgraded as I certainly did enjoy the new seats, new looks, and lighting. Do not listen to the naysayers. It may take some time to walk around and see everything. But, the gay scene and the gay gogo bars are great in gay Thailand and Bangkok's scene is fun and active.
