The flower pattern shirts started showing up on Soi Twilight last night.

Yes the Marriott is no longer. It changed operators. The Courtyard is soon to become no longer Marriott as owner takes it back.

This crackdown is clearly aimed at the Vietnamese boys. They seem to be the only ones in street clothes and have quotas as to how many can work at each bar. Tonight the quota was raised by a couple of boys.

The police presents is still having a little affect. Appears the Vietnamese boys are felling the brunt. Only one or two allowed on stage. Wait staffs in street clothes. Many massage boys have been sitting out front at Bonny and Bangkok massage in street clothes. One instance I will never figure out. Friday night at aFresh Boys. 6 Vietnam waiters. They are allowed to wear their black shirt and pants, but not their tie. I'm sure some officer had a perfectly good reason they couldn't put that tie on. They couldn't wear their number either. You could point to boy, call him over, talk to him...but police say no number, how do you seal the deal. Most of these boys got offed, so you smart customers got around these police rules. Every night seems different . Let's see how tonight goes.

One of my good friends here in Bangkok just got back from a week in Bali yesterday. He loves it and goes a couple of times a year. Of course it's an easy and cheap flight from Bangkok.

I've been to 21 countries. Thailand has become my favorite but I spent many years going to the Greek Islands and really enjoyed that. Vietnam is coming up fast. I just got back from Hanoi and really enjoy North Vietnam.

For me as much as I like Rio, this is the difference with Bangkok. Things in Bangkok don't get started till 9pm and wind down at 1am . Then you can go to clubs till 6am.

I admit I was surprised I got my cash back. People that have posted stories of lost wallets seem to run about 50/50 in getting cash back or not.

I found the place I am in now thru Airbnb. I spend about 6 months a year in Bangkok and have worked out a deal with the owner. I've used this Condo for 3 years now.

Police returned tonight and looks like they are going to screw things up for a bit. Nobody seems to know what's going on. We were at Fresh Boys tonight. They were allowed to have 5 Vietnamese working. Cambodians were back. But they say tomorrow may be different. Massage shops were short boys. I know a Myanmar boy at Hot Male was told he can't work. There doesn't seem to be any consistency to what is going on. We will have to see what tomorrow brings.

Ggobkk someone will have to fill in for me this weekend. I'm off to Hong Kong on Saturday for 3 days.

And we had another visit by the police tonight. Only Thais allowed to work. All others sent home. Last week non Thais could work but in street clothes. Soi Twilight was pretty quiet tonight. Was told they would all be back tomorrow. We will see.

I talked to a few people tonight. They don't believe there will be any problem in either location.

You have an obsession with the boys controlling you. Why don't you grow up and take control of your life like most of us do. If I'm not happy with the way things are going with a boy, I tell him. They don't mind, their used to it. If you don't give him any direction he will do it his way. I've never wondered when a boy is going to turn me over. I just simply tell him I'm ready to turn . If your still face down after 40 minutes, I can only ask you why. Your not capable of telling the boy to turn? Your the paying customer. It's your fault your not getting what you want.

What does it say about your quetions that not one person agrees with you. Maybe a little therapy to figure why you think these are very important questions and nobody else does.

You ask all these questions because others don't ask. Did you ever think people don't ask these questions because none of them are issues any of us deal with.

I don't think you will ever get the answer you want to hear. It doesn't appear anybody here is concerned about being robbed or beaten up in the middle of the night. You think it can happen to you so you don't do it. There is nothing else to say.

As for picking up a stranger on the street. I'm sure there are many of us old enough to remember the good old 70's and 80's , before computers and Aps. Living in San Francisco I used to meet boys on street corners all the time. It's the way it used to be.

He never mentioned it was his birthday. As I'm in Bangkok also, I could have sent a bouquet of ladyboys for his special day.

The boy only controls if you let him. Sometimes if I am only doing a 60 minute I tell the boy I only want to lay on my back. I have a hard time laying in one position for a long time so when doing 90 minutes or more, I tell boy I need to turn over a couple of times. It's up to you to tell boy what you would like, otherwise he will do it the way he is comfortable with.

I'm not even 1% worried. I live my life in Bangkok the same as I live my life in the US. Sure I put my electronics and passports away. Same as I do in the US. I am in a condo and don't have a safe. I don't keep thousands of dollars or 20 credit cards in the condo. ATM has made life so much easier. I have had the same housekeeper for 3 years. Should I sit here and watch that she doesn't steal anything? If your hiring from the bars and gogo's your chances of safety are pretty good. They are easy to track down. If you hire someone off the street, then I'll give you the 1% worry. But I never do that. I think if you just live your life with a bit of common sense, you wouldn't have any worries. If you go looking for trouble it will find you. I glad your having a good time.

Hopefully this is the trolling side of you posting. If these thoughts keep you from enjoying yourself, I suggest you go home and lock the door and never come out again. Human interaction is not for you. And for what it's worth, I do the snoring and it ruins his sleep. But he likes the payoff so puts up with it.

Soi Twilight back to normal tonight. Police gone and boys back to regular gogo attire.
