  1. Yes I remember that one and yes just madness.
  2. Breaking news, it seems he has been ousted and the replacement front runner will be a certain exPM's daughter. PM verdict
  3. I never feel lonely nor bored on any of my many trips as I always find something to do or see, being that I only travel alone I have always found it easy to do things (and without arguments) and on a quiet day I check out the cinemas and after go for a sex filled couple of hours at a massage shop. I usually like to do day trips out of Bangkok as that helps to pass time, Ayutthaya is a favourite, I can enjoy the ruins all day long if need be and if booked on the right tour the river journey back to Bangkok (with buffet lunch) is quite a good time too.
  4. If I were living in Thailand I would have a will in both Thailand and Australia to cover the assets in each country, the beauty of having concurrent wills takes away some of the hassles especially if people think of taking out an international will.
  5. I think the ones you'll want to check out are around Nana BTS Sukhumvit Soi 5 to 7 area, that's where they used to be, it's been a while since I was there last but there were several around that area that had ladyboys in the massage shops. I have found one online, Siam Tulip massage which is further down Sukhumvit rd (Soi 22 I think) but I have no idea if this one offers extras but their ladyboys do look rather nice (might try a take out from there on my next trip).
  6. Some places and things I like Grand Palace (dress codes and beware scammers trying to say its closed, ignore them and go to the entrance) Chao Phraya Princess River Cruise dinner, I enjoyed having this dinner cruise only goes for a couple of hours but is enjoyable Asiatique, a bit touristy but some nice restaurants and an easy free commute on the ferry Lumphini, I imagine the outdoors gym is still going I do like the National Museum. I thought I would just throw that one in even though he may not be interested but still worth a look Will second Chatuchak weekend market but my advice is to go early A restaurant I really like is The Mango Tree on Soi Tarntawan (just around the corner from Tarntawan Hotel)
  7. Thanks for sharing the report, nice one.
  8. I do like Nine Spa, I've had some very good times there but only the one mediocre experience, I shall be going back there during my November trip for some more good times.
  9. Only when trying to bring it through customs at airports without declaring it, people can still by legal porn DVD's in shops but what they are mostly looking for at airports are the illegal type like beastiality and under-age porn, rape etc (or in customs language "questionable material"). A young guy was caught last year brining in porn that he recorded of himself and Thai bargirls (all legal age) but he failed to declare it and got in a bit of trouble for not declaring it. The electronic searches by customs are also done randomly.
  10. Well guys good luck coming into Australia then, coming back after one trip to Thailand the customs in Perth took me aside for an electronic search (first time ever for me), handed over the phone, camera and even offered up the laptop but they didn't bother with the laptop (nothing that would interest them on it anyway) and shortly returned with phone and camera with nothing found. Talking with the lady customs officer, she explained that they were mostly looking for porn as that was the whole conversation and I have absolutely no doubt as to what "type" of porn they were looking for, the nasty illegal type. I never have issues with electronic searches or even customs searches in general so they can search all they want, hell I'll even volunteer to do a strip search for them
  11. Thankfully I don't go to traditional Thai massage shops for sex (they are for proper and good quality massages) but I do go to the other 25% non traditional Thai massage shops that do offer sex (yeah a basic rub down and then some raunchy sex). I'm also shocked that he found out what happens in the 75% of traditional massage shops, somebody must have "leaked" it to him
  12. I am very much the same and have been an early bird for a long time now
  13. I live in Western Australia in what is quite a popular tourist town in summer time and on long weekends and I don't mind the tourists that much as they seem to be pretty good and for the most part well behaved. One aspect that I will say I don't like is the amount of extra traffic that comes with them, our roads in this town really do get clogged up and at times it becomes a nightmare getting around. I find certain tourists that do annoy me the most are when I am holidaying in Bangkok or in the Philippines (the irony that I am a tourist there hasn't escaped me), they rock up by the bus load (or 2 bus loads) and just push in to the front of the queue, can be very very loud when they descend en masse on a restaurant that I may be in at the time and some also have questionable table manners. Then again when I'm over there some probably see me as a dirty old sex tourist but they would only be half right, I do like to get around and have a good look at places and do other things over there, the other "bit" comes later.
  14. Yeah there's a few in that 15M pic that could ring my bell any day
  15. We now know who was responsible.
  16. When I first realised I like cocks I thought maybe the Filipino ones would be preferable due to circumcision but after seeing how they butcher it I have come to prefer a good uncut Thai cock (or Lao, Viet etc). Thanks for posting the report.
  17. If they ever get to that target they'll be on Ripley's Believe it or Not 😂
  18. And as reported on a Facebook group Thailand Visa Advice - And Everything Else it can be extended for an extra 30 days, that was one question a lot in that group was asking in the build up to this decision
  19. Looking at the pics that show T&B this area might become a favourite one for me, I have not had much luck finding true versatile guys in the massage shops around the Silom area (I know there must be plenty there). I mostly end up with tops which is more than ok but there are times when I seek a versatile guy for some mutual pleasures but struggle to find / get one, had a couple in the past that said they were versatile but when it came to the fun they turned out to be tops only. Hopefully I will get around to booking a trip within the next few weeks, just a matter of deciding on the dates and for how long 🤔
  20. I liked the Tarntawn breakfast when I stayed there which was mostly eggs on toast with some cold cuts plus fresh fruit and coffee and of course a read of the morning paper. The Raya was ok but a bit lacking in some aspects as it would be eggs on toast with a few of those little sausages and fresh fruit and of course coffee but alas the last 2 times I was there no morning paper. No matter where it was there is always a good walk around Lumphini Park after breakfast.
  21. The FLiRT variety is taking off over here in Australia too, luckily most that I know that caught this one haven't been too badly affected by it. I am partially immunocompromised due to effects of pneumonia when I was a child and will wear a mask in higher risk situations like crowded trains etc but most people now seem to not care at all. I do hope that with each new variant that it gets weaker or at the very least doesn't get any stronger, it has stuffed us all around for far to long now.
  22. The new tax and lack of credible information from the government / tax office is one of the things that's turning me off moving to Thailand for now. My retirement income fund (not a state pension) in Australia is now tax free and has been for 5 years but from what I have read (right or wrong) is that if I were living there and transferred that money into a Thai bank for living expenses, fun etc it would then be taxed. I also think there may well be a lot of expats just hanging on for clarification of the new tax rules and if not favourable will be inclined to move to other Asian countries, the Philippines is what I am thinking would be a reasonable alternative. The problem I see with the Philippines is that the infrastructure is not as good as Thailand, healthcare for those that can afford private health insurance is ok as there are some quality private hospitals in Manila (if you can get to them in time). A positive for the Philippines is the retirement visa (SRRV) to me is so much easier and less mucking around than the Thai one, or do what a lot of expats do and just live on a tourist visa and keep extending it for up to 36 months then slip out to another country and start all over again on return. A down side for me is the city I would like to live there hasn't got much of a gay scene at all and neither has the Philippines in comparison with Thailand for that matter. Hmmn food for thought for when it becomes decision time.
  23. Just my thoughts but I don't think the government is giving many answers because they don't know the details yet themselves and are just stumbling from day to day on this. Ahh yes, of course they need to pay for the "give" us your vote scheme some how ⤵️
  24. Another tip when the massage boy showers after you at the start, if he walks out with a hard on forget the massage (massage would most likely be ordinary anyway) and just dive in and enjoy the fun.
  25. That would be brilliant and I can see this happening more and more around the world but sadly I think places like Thailand and the Philippines will be left way behind everyone else, we can only live and hope though.
