Maybe it is consideration to those of us who don't like to get a bunch of hairs in our faces. one of those things along with tattoos, mooks and all that hardware in earlobes which some of us like, others don't and others still don't see any difference. While I'm firmly with a447a on that issue I understand point steve is making and I guess both approaches have their takers. Once at Jupiter I was actually sitting beside Thai guy who called boy over and asked boy to lower his undies to see if hair are there. ( I don't speak Thai but assume this what talk was about since boy did exactly that , just showed pubes ).
