You are lucky it ran that fast. 

Even though some of the providers claim 4G - Lite or better, it is not unusual to often see only H on one's cell phone.  

This can happen despite the phone not being moved to various or different locations.  While using a phone, a signal often drops to a slow speed without warning then, without warning, returns to a faster speed, then drops back down again.   

This is particularly annoying when trying to talk on whatsapp or a similar utility.

The water in the "hydro suite" was cold, and barely trickled. It would have taken more than an hour to fill up the jacuzzi. Of course, they may fix that.

You negotiate the time with the guy you want to take up. I took up a guy, was terribly disappointed in his performance, and went back and found another guy to take up...same room, since it was within the one hour. They were extremely gracious and changed the bed linens in between guys. I tipped.

Interesting question about the hour. I usually do a double programa elsewhere for 125-135% what I might pay for a single. Works well since I prefer more time with one guy than a shorter time with two separate consecutive guys, and I like foreplay as much as heightened "resolution". This would never fly in a strip club, but garotos are more flexible. They may feel undervalued if you lowball for a single session. Not that I would know ... I do not nickel-and-time on 35-minute dates. However, once their date rate threshold is comfortably reached, their egos and salary goals seem to withstand receiving a lower time-contingent amount. 

I do not have the "cuckold" fetish or something similar that sets one back 1 large the first hour, 2 large for two hours, 3 for 3, etc. 

I would assume Acyr has "game-changed" the programa concept to include suite amenities time, which may actually be extra minutes without amenities functioning fully. But the idea is more consistent with a spa experience. To my way of thinking, I would be accepting of the 125-135% calculation with the right guy because I would not be paying double for the suite at MR's. But my sense is the standard programa arrangememt will be the main driver, conferring a little bonus to the client. 

I think my playbook is more like Sandunes'. Assessing and handling the cantelope for texture and ripeness, never giving the guy a pink slip. 

What's the current word on this new sauna.  Is it alive and working?  Planning a trip in a few weeks.  Obrigado!

Has anyone been recently? Is it doing well--especially on their busy nights of Friday and Monday? I hear a lot about member's experiences at Pointe and 117 but not much about MR recently. I hope it succeeds--I was a real fan of Meio Mundo and my impression is that this would draw the same type of garatos.

Sat 11pm to 5am is when "the week" is in full action....I guess it's  targeting a different audience.  But I wish I could do both though.

Well, I have heard about a private party yesterday at Manhattan , due to a visit of a special guest.... I don’t know why but I guess this guest is @Tomcal??

Yesterday some boys at 117 were a bit disappointed that they were not invited... 

Concerning the sauna itself, I have heard good reviews from Saturday nights.

MR is closed on Tuesday’s so the owner thought that would be a good night to have a private party. there was the owner myself and 8 sauna guys who were invited. plus one new guy who happened to stop by because he was new in town and needed to work and a friend had told him to try here, so we let him in and he eventually stayed the night at the apartment with 5 other guys!  We supplied free drinks and food plus use of any suites they/we, wanted to use!  it was a fun Tuesday night!

Tonight at Pointe which was PACKED, several guys came up and wanted to know why they were not invited, i just said i didn’t make up the guest list!

-The same drag queen performed as at 202.  

-Suites were free tonight (Monday night)

-No wi-fi and my cell had poor service inside

-Overall I prefer 117 and 202.  I can’t see myself coming back here  

I went last Friday night, the 10th, and shared many of your observations on the size of the sauna. But, there is a great deal of enthusiasm behind this new place, and I don’t underestimate the new owners in their determination to make the place a success. But, our cab driver, even with the address, could not find the place. We got out and walked, and it was just two blocks farther down.

i think you exaggerated a bit. i am 6’5” and i did not hit my head but i only head a 1” clearance in the upstairs bar! i like the 2 bar idea, one for music and shows and one(which is more like a english pub for talking in a more quiet refined area.

unless you are as tall as me you exaggerated a bit, i am 6’5” and i had a 1/2” clearance in the upstairs bar!  but you are right the public room’s are smaller but i kinda like the 2 bar concept, one for shows  and music and the other more refinded and quieter when you want to talk or negotiate!  tonight thursday is supposed to be bad but MR was packed! then i went to pointe and they had a free buffet and were also busy(and great massage by the Venezuelan). Competition is proving to be good for the clients in Rio!  now if only another 2 saunas would open in São Paulo!

I've been to MRs now.   It has the most cabins of any sauna in Rio. We all hate waiting for cabins, so this is a welcome addition to the sauna scene.  With shorter cabin wait times, both client and escort will be happier. The owner, Acir, has a great mind for running a successful sauna (he ran MM for years) and his commitment to making MRs the best sauna is evident.

And I REALLY liked the upstairs bar. Very clean, classy and sharp- an unusual trio of attributes in a Gay sauna.  But it's very conducive to just hanging out with your friends. I can see Cariocas just coming and hanging out there for (non-sexual) fun and a drink or two.

And the rooms are nicer than any other rooms in Rio. 

If you go to Rio and are attending the sauna scene, dont miss out on MRs. Its worth it.

I dropped by too early on my way to the airport. I thought it was a very nice layout, and nicely done. Can't comment on the guys, since I was too early on a monday.

It appears that you decided against using Uber that was discussed in another thread not long ago.  

Had you used Uber, you would have been taken directly to the facility.  

Well, that may not be exactly correct. 

I used Uber to get to MRs and my driver couldn't find MRs either. It took him a while after first going to the wrong address then driving around to figure it out.

But I got there. Glad I did. 

There is a problem with Waze, it sends to the street behind the building, when taking UBer or 99 always say to your driver that it is in Beira Mar Avenue, other than that it is very easy to arrive. 

It happened to me today! I am right now in Manhattan. But as you can see not much action LOL so I am posting. 

I would have no problem directing the driver to get there and would likely hop out at the Petrobras pumps across the road. You cannot pull a U-turn unless comfortable crossing the median curbs. However, it could be trickier having them pick you up to leave. Othon nearby is an easier landmark but the driver still has to manage the cloverleaf. Frankly, I am accustomed to public transit ... the VLT tram is just a few metres west of the club, Antônio Carlos stn, then one stop up to Cinelândia and Metro transfer. Unless it's Saturday Night Viver!

 

My uber dropped me in the street behind, but I walked through as well.
