Brazil late May

Dear Forum friends,

waving covid goodbye, seeing it go around the corner (and hopefully stay there) I planned my 'Tour de Slut' to Brazil arriving end of May. I'll be in Sao Paulo from 25th of May onwards and Rio de Janeiro from June 2nd - June 10th. An adventures slutface as I am, I stay next to the Praça República in SP and Ipanema in Rio. SP is my first, so I am eager to scout the República and Lago de Arouche area, as well the infamous Lagoa and Club555. Any short time motels in the República area known to you? One never knows what to come across in the parc...

If any forum members are in those cities on said dates, feel free to hit me up and meet for coffee and/or drinks! I did my research and I'd consider myself a seasoned traveller, however I am open to tips, advise, warnings etc.

My recollection from years ago is that were two cruising movie houses on Avenida Ipiranga, Cine Republica and Cine Paris, but maybe only Paris is left. I went to the Republica a few times and really liked it, it was busy. But there were a lot of young guys and I wasn't young so I was on the lookout for rentboys of which there sometimes one or two around. I had a scary experience with one of them and never went back. But overall, there were a lot of young hot guys there.

Thanks for the replies! So many already, love it!

There are multiple options in the area: cine republica, cine arouche, cabinas, dedalos bar. I already pinned my google map 🙂 ....uffff where to go, what to do!?!!? I also like the old fashion street cruising and eye candy spotting. That sensation during interaction, it's great. Praça Republica is the place to practice cruising. Supposedly quite some hustlers. Yes, it has a definite AYOR level: I would never take a street guy home, rather a short time hotel in the vicinity and I would never walk there at night. I've cruised Bogota, Medellin and even Santo Domingo, so I think I can be cool enough to keep my whits about.

Those cinemas are true sleaze pits.....I love to check them out hahaha.

Well, let's see how things develop. Promise to keep you guys posted!

Viaduto Nove de Julho, 193 - Centro Histórico de São Paulo, São Paulo - SP, 01050-060, Brazil, Bar e Lanches Estadao.... maybe you've already been to this place, great sandwiches and atmosphere and fruit drinks a few blocks from the square.

I don’t know it personally but apparently this (likely trashy but cheap) love motel with trysts of all walks of life exists right there near Dedalos and A Casa do Porco.

I once stayed in the Republica area. The Cines near Lgo do Arouche are sleazy and sketchy. They were mostly vacant when I went, and I did not see any young guys. There were always female or trans-female hookers plying the trade. These places are no different from such venues around the world. When in Brazil, I prefer the better experience of the saunas, which cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

Republica was a major party scene at night, but quite AYOR. The hottest scene I saw was cops putting some street boys against the wall and frisking them. But that's a different fantasy.

It’s a goo fantasy one where I want to be the cop and make sure there’s no hidden guns wink 😉 and cakes!

There are two cines on the same block of Av. Ipiranga: Cine Paris next to a Habib’s and a 24 Horas Cine next to the McDonald’s. Cine Paris, IMO, in recent times, is less active than the cine next to the MickeyDs.

The most active cine for hustlers in República seems to be the old Aurora Lan House, now called Eros. It’s on Av. Aurora, close to the Selina Hotel and around the corner from the República  Park Hotel, an hourly love motel (advisable to use this for your area street hookups instead of your AirBnB or hotel room). Eros closes at or around 10 pm. It’s not advisable to be walking in that area after dark, anyway. A daytime visit is all you need.

Ah... so the other cine I was thinking of is the 24 Horas Cine. I'm glad it's still open. It was the first place like that I ever went to and had no idea those places existed. All those hot guys just wandering around looking for sex, it was incredible.

Where is this Park Hotel exactly please?

It’s the República Park Hotel, and it’s adjacent the Selina Hotel, between Rua Aurora and República Park.

Av. Vieira de Carvalho, 32

Eros is right around the corner on Rua Aurora. The other two cines are on the other side of the park on Av. Ipiranga. All within just a few minutes walking distance during daylight.

Hey there, I am leaving today heading to Sao Paulo! I will be in town from 25th to the 9th. I saw a cheap fare this morning and said what the hell it’s time to go! Hit me up if you wish to wander around together.
