Violent unrest in Los Angeles

... LAPD is fully capable of violently repressing both the protesters and criminals without the "help" of the National Guard or especially the fucking MARINES.

As a police force, maybe. However, the city lacks the funds. On the news, I have heard that the costs involved may drive the city into bankruptcy. From a financial perspective, I'm all for the federal government paying for its own mess. Why should the city of LA be on the hook to protect federal agents? They can and did at the onset (at the request of ICE agents), but this comes at a heavy financial cost.

Exactly. I remember the anarchists showing up at a very small, and peaceful protest against the war in Central America in the 80s. They have been at every protest I’ve been to. They don’t give a shit about the issue people are protesting, they just want to start trouble. And then there are the Proud Boys and other right-wing groups who also infiltrate protests on the left and try to incite riots.

What we should be more concerned about is a president mobilizing the National Guard and the Marines to be used against American citizens. That is the real story here.

As we learned in the aftermath of the Black Lives Matter demonstrations:  some of the provocateurs were plants from right-wing organizations.  So it's not just the left, but the extreme right.

Shows how uninformed you are. The people on the streets protesting are American citizens.

Many, probably most ... but I'm thinking (but don't know) some are people in the USA without permission.

I’m talking about the protestors that Don the Con is planning on using our military against. Believe me, if you are an undocumented immigrant, you try to lay low and don’t show up at protests. Most of them are too busy working anyway.

Unfortunately, not all learned that. They still talk about the BLM protests as examples of how radical leftists burned down American cities, when those of us who are in touch with reality know that is not true and the violence was started by infiltrators.

You would not be derailing the hread. You would be answering a pertinent question.

I didn’t realize Moses was from Russia (I always thought Moses lived in Judea). Ironic, isn’t it? I’d like to know why he left Russia if he’s so in favor of Putin’s tactics on US soil and against immigration.

I always thought

Before you start thinking, it is always a good idea to evaluate whether you have any verified facts that you will base your theory on. Thoughts that are not based on facts are called "daydreams," "delusions," "speculations", "conjectures"...

(No, it is conjecture, anyone may use search forum function and easy find my opinion, something like "I don't like Putin, he is formerly KGB spy")

I won’t be engaging. It’s obvious you are getting misinformation from somewhere and a back and forth will be a waste of my time.

Dear, you already 3 times made wrong conclusion about me, because they were based on your assumptions.

It is forth.
