There are discussions on this forum about where the best cashew chicken was on the menu. I had one today at Sarica restaurant on Surawong Road. Plenty of cashews, and the chicken was delicious. However, I have reservations about the quality of the sauce/paste they used. Still, I think it tasted good.

................................

Then Papasan and the boy started talking in Thai or Burmese. I didn't understand it at all. But after that, the boy claimed to want to take good care of me and was willing to do anything, including bottoming. But I insisted I wouldn't bring the boy along. A date between us could only end in disappointment. I want a real bottom or versa. And not someone who "just does it" because Papasan says so. It doesn't feel right to do something with a boy he doesn't choose for himself.

.....................................

I even managed to chat with a boy who had spontaneously sat next to me for a while before he asked if I wanted to buy them a drink. And I did want to buy him a drink. Because he was definitely my type. He spoke reasonable English. That was a plus. At the same time, there was another attractive boy further down who also kept making eye contact. Both boys from Vietnam.

Dish looks yummy. I wonder on which stretch of Suriwong that Sarica restaurant is ? Beauty of that dish is that almost everywhere it tastes bit differently.

.........................

At Dreamboys you did right thing . Mamasan likely pressed boy to agree in order not to lose customer. If you agreed chance that it would turn bad for either one of you or both was very high. I'm glad I have an allergy to seeking mamasan's help and always prefer to sort things with boy myself.

This is exactly why I use the Notes app on my iPhone to store some pictures/drawings to help in situations like this. It's impossible to know the local language, idioms, slang, etc. for every country and pictures get right to the point. Who would guess that the Spanish slang for rimming translates to "black kiss" in English? But a pic of a guy eating ass? That sends a clear message. For example, I use the pic attached here to determine if guys are top, bottom or vers when there is a language barrier, and I have more pics for other things I'm into. (Oddly, no pics of stamp collecting though... lol)

This never occurred to me, but this is an excellent idea. I think I may do this myself.

You're welcome. It has come in very handy. Plus, it can be fun finding pics to represent your interests. lol

While it's not 100% secure, I like that Notes has a lock feature to prevent accidentally opening it at inopportune moments or to prevent prying eyes from snooping.

Sarica is at the corner of Soi Wall Street and Surawong.  I usually go there once or twice when I'm in Bangkok.  It's been in the same location for at least 15 years that I know of.

They serve Thai food, with some farang and Japanese dishes.  It is very popular with Japanese customers, as Soi Thaniya is only a few steps away.  The menu, in addition to Thai and English, includes names of the various dishes in Japanese.

I was surprised last year to find the restaurant / cafe had changed a bit, with the front section featuring a cannabis menu, and the sign outside with the name Sarica Cannabis.  The front half used to be a coffee shop.  The cannabis section and the restaurant are divided with glass wall, with a door between the two.  The same waiters serve both sections.  The side entrance on Soi Wall Street leads directly into the regular dining room.

They must have thought there weren't enough shopping malls in the area yet.

Fully agree. The shopping mall is like any other and there are better ones. The garden is beautiful and even more so after sunset!

I deliberately didn't mention that I am top and wanted him to express his preferences first by asking him. His answer was ultimately clear: he's gay, but he's top.

In chinese, 1 and 0 is used to denote top and bottom. No prize to guess which is which. Ive used this before and has been successful. For vers, i use both hands 1 and 0 and interlocking them lol.

I agree that using 1 and 0 is an easy way to communicate!

Didn't know there was a limit on daily reactions you can give in this forum...

I guess it's the only way to stop queens from overreacting. 🤷

FRENCH KISSING IN BANGKOK

For a few days, I'd been chatting with a half-French/half-Moroccan guy who is in Thailand for an extended period. At first, he seemed a bit too feminine for me. But there was something about him that attracted me, both in his photos and in his "French ritual" he offers. After a few days of hesitation because his "asking price" was so high, I decided to invite him anyway. My curiosity about him got the better of me.

Despite the high price, it turned out to be completely worth it. I'm not going to say what I paid him because I'd be embarrassed to, and then I'd get all my fellow forum members commenting... Haha. But let's just say this French guy didn't charge Thai rates. He had a warm and open personality. He took his time. His massage was exactly what I needed in terms of intensity. Plus, he works with pressure points, which was a very pleasant experience. The transition from sensual to erotic was seamless. He knows what he's doing, and he enjoys it himself. After the climax, it wasn't a quick pay-and-go. No, even then he took his time. Lying in each other's arms, chatting a bit. And he gave me a wonderful head massage. We talked about pressure point techniques and Chinese medicine. A well-spent afternoon.

He also happens to be incredibly creative. At the guesthouse where he's staying by the river in Bangkok, he's working on a mural depicting various world cities. He's a professionally trained dancer, which explains his toned body and flexibility, so to speak... But above all, he has a great personality. If you search on the Hunqz website, you'll find him.

It was the last night in Bangkok for a fellow forum member I'd met in Bangkok this week. So we decided to go out for dinner together again. We chose G's, as my dinner companion put it, "to stay loyal to Guido." I eat at Guido's every time I'm in Bangkok. And I always have a schnitzel. But since I'd already had it two nights ago, I decided to try a Thai dish this time. And that was delicious too. Also happy te report that Guido's pussy is still in full action. Alive and kicking at the terrace.

After dinner, we went across the street for a drink on the terrace of Banana Club. On the terrace, yes. It was still early, there wasn't a show yet. But sitting there gave us the opportunity to watch people walk by. I always love that: people watching. And because the music wasn't nearly as loud as at other terraces further down the Soi, we were able to have a decent conversation.

After my late afternoon escapades, I wasn't planning on finding a guy tonight. But after my fellow forum member left for his hotel, I decided to check out Jupiter anyway. I remember their show being very entertaining, even if I wasn't planning on bringing a guy. Upon entering, I was initially assigned a spot on a bar stool. After sitting there for a while, I asked to move to a bench. Sitting on a bar stool for extended periods of time isn't comfortable for me. Luckily, it wasn't too busy (yet), so I found another spot. Later, the place started filling up considerably. From the second show onward, at least all the benches were occupied, and some of the bar stools further back were as well.

A friendly papasan confirmed my suspicion that the boy I had my eyes on at first was "boy" and not "gay." But he would point out which boys were gay during the next parade. And he did. With his laser pointer. When the parade ended, he gathered four of the gay boys from that evening. Without me knowing, they were suddenly all standing behind me. And asked if I could pick one. Awkward. But helpful. A boy who had been smiling at me during the parade was the nicest one in my opinion. So I agreed to have a drink with him during the next show. The boy confirmed that he was up for "anything" and would happily join me to make me "happy." I held my ground. And after we sat close together during the show, with my hand occasionally running over his muscles and his hand on my knee, I told him I'd love to come back next time and take him along. I did give him 200 baht as a tip for his time and company. He was great company, especially because he spoke reasonable English.  By the way, he claimed to be from Bangkok. Originally. I don't hear that very often. Most Thai guys I talk to in bars are from somewhere in the countryside.

You are right.

I've been going there for years. When cannabis regulations in Thailand became more relaxed, everyone wanted a piece of the pie. This restaurant included. So the front terrace was transformed into a cannabis shop where people smoked. It wasn't pleasant to sit and eat, so if you wanted to eat there, you basically had to sit inside. I was pleasantly surprised to see that cannabis sales have since stopped, and both the terrace and the interior are once again exclusively used as a bar/restaurant.
