March 24Mar 24 Where else but in the USA would anyone consider queuing for hundreds of meters underground before getting up to second level and another few hundred meters queue. Then another level. By the time this level is reached there is a notice saying approximate waiting time will be a further 250 minutes. March 24Mar 24 I was in Houston just 1 week ago and the precheck line was 5 minutes and regular lines 20 mins.... how it got so out of control in 1 week is crazy.

I was in La Guardia 10 days ago, and zipped through in the American terminal, though I was in priority lane. Came back from Nashville, no priority line, but no queue. Trying my luck with SF and Chicago soon!
March 28Mar 28 Active Members My worst queueing experience was going through immigration for non-EU/EEA citizens at Lisbon Airport. Good thing I arrived at the airport 2.5 hours before departure. The line was over 1 km long and took almost 2 hours. Barely had time to reach my gate (no special line for business class, either).

Reports say that Lisbon was one of the worst in Europe, up to 5 hours. They brought in the army to help, at one point! The new European system was/is chaotic.
