Quick trip to Bangkok

I just arrived for 9 days. It should have been ten but my plane was late at Doha and Qatar Air added an 18 hour delay - with a hotel and meals but that wasn't the plan. I see the atm fee at TTB bank has gone up to 350 baht. Is that now the same at all Thai atm's?

On the plus side I discovered that, though Grindr in UK only offers me a free week then £9.99 a week -so no monthly packages - that I can get 3 months for £30 here. I wasn't going to pay £43 plus a month but £10 a month seems more doable.

Sorry if it wasn't clear. In Thailand I have just paid £30 for a 3 months package of grindr xtra so I can see more men. In UK where I live no monthly package is offered to me. All that is offered to me in UK is a free week then £9.99 a week. That is £118.88 for the first 3 months and £129.87 for all the following three month periods.

I managed a tour of Dragon Bar, Good Boys, Big Boys and Freshboys. Customers thin on the ground at all venues on a Wednesday night. Plenty of men available. Big Boys making some effort with a show though 1500 bt for a beer and cokes for 2 men I knew there seems on the strong side.

I also took off a Myanmar man that night from Good Boy to take to the hotel so an expensive evening. I recall the days when I would think nothing of offing 3 men to take to dj station, and one of them to bed. But those 13,000bt nights are a bit strong for my finances these days. Today I did Songkran on Silom. My 600bt water gun didn't work so I had to go back to exchange it - which they actually did! Water guns are cheaper on Rama IV than on Silom. I am happy to see that there is far more control and health and safety on Silom for Songkran than there was 14 years ago.

Last night Good Boy was quiet initially and Freshboys jam packed. At 1am many customers arrived at Good Boy so I hope the lads did ok. For any of you thinking of applying to work at Dreamboys it has the great advantage that they don't charge you 500bt if you take a night off, so that's a bonus item.

Why not be true to yourself and buy a Hawaiian muumuu instead this year? It's very flattering to the mature farang figure. 😉
