Is there a way to access the Forum without seeing the graphics on top? I may be bringing my laptop to some public places where it might be considered inapropriate to have two naked men embracing on my screen. I know it's not enforced in Bali but heard that the penalty for gay sodomy is death in Indonesia so want to be careful.

I found an interesting article on early Thailand that I thought I might share with the members. When I went to post the article in the forum titled "Articles on Thailand," I received a "sorry you do not have permission to start a topic" message. What is up with that?

For the past 2 or 3 weeks, the MER servers seem to have been particularly temperamental. Roughly half the time I try to access the site, it hangs up and eventually my browser displays a "server not available" notice. Thoughts?

The site is being a pain in the butt today (and not in a good way.) Several times when I've tried to reply to comments it's told me I don't have "permission" and suggested signing in even though I've already been signed in. Then, I have to sign out, sign in again and roughly half the time I'm then able to post a comment. I'm not sure if that's a database or server error.

A very kind poster went to lots of trouble to send me a detailed PM about Bali with hotel recomendations etc. I was drunk when the message popped on my screen and figured I'd look at it the next day. But unlike other message boards it seems messages don't automatically get saved.

1. Whatever happened to reviews for Eric (ript4hire) from New York. I'm sure he had at least one review (mine) but it's no longer there. I also know he's retired. Do retiree's reviews get pulled? (I see there's now a guy called Eric4hire, but it's definitely not the same guy). 2. When submitting a review (which I did on Wednesday evening, 12/3), after clicking the submit button, it seemed as if my computer stalled. After a minute or two there was an error message saying that I couldn't connect to the server. I have no idea whether or not you got the review. Did you?

I wrote a review about a month or so ago, which was posted here. It was a very good review, and as far as I can see, not in any way controversial. It has now disappeared. Is this normal for this site? Do reviews expire after a few weeks? If I had known, I wouldn't have bothered to write it.

I posted these reviews some time ago and now I see that they are no longer linked to the guys that are listed. Perhaps they changed the listing name and it caused the review to get unlinked. For some reason since last night I haven't been getting any email notifications when people respond to a topic I've subscribed to. Is there a glitch in the system?

It occurs to me that this forum is safe to look at while at work, but the Male Nation pop up that appears as soon as you log on isn't. I bet we'd get a lot more people chatting and posting here if that pop up didn't happen. Just a thought. It's not a big deal for me, because I don't have any prying eyes when I work and can just click if off but I bet it holds a lot of dudes back from coming here during work hours.

Hi, your lost password auto system appears to fail. I am jinks and use the Alpha tag when I get locked out. I have tried to get my old password reset and sent but received the Alpha one. Sorry to put this on the board but e-mail seems to fail too. jinks

I tried sending Tamap a msg to remove my NY travel post but then almost 30 windows opened up for the msg to be sent. I had to close out the main window which stopped the msg windows from opening up. I'm not sure if this is something that normally happens or if it is just on my end but thought I'd let someone out there know. I only clicked on the msg link once.

Was trying to look through all the Vegas reviews... I'd like to suggest that those of us that contribute more than X reviews per year be granted free higher level status. After all we ARE contributing to the sucess of this site. When I first clicked on a pic that I had sent in and was told that I needed silver/gold member status to see it full size I was kinda cheesed off. I know that you gotta earn revenue but I suggest that you get more of it from the lookie lou's and less from your loyal contributors.

Hello, Perhaps it's something to do with changing the server? My Avotar has gone. When I go into my control panel and try to re-instate it I get a notice saying that I must log in first. Obviously I am logged in to open my control panel? It's not a big deal but when you have time please advise. wowpow

I have tried 3 times to update my "profile description" to no avail. I am met with a message that tells me I can't use web addresses etc in my profile. I have none of these things in my profile!!!! Nor do I wish to enter such information!!!! Please advise.

OK, back around July 4 I found one way to link to your avatar using the new forum software. It involved clicking the "Members" button in the light-brown bar above. (That action also exposed a link to the board's messaging function, which was the main thing I was hunting for at the time.) However, once the site technicians switched access to the site's messaging function over to the "My Membership" button (in the dark pink menu bar nearer the top of the page), several useful functions formerly accessible through the aforesaid "Members" button became inaccessible... Specifically, the ability to link to an avatar went back into hiding, far as I can tell. That now-inaccess…

In the last day or so, I only see the original post in a thread ........... then at the bottom is a listing of all subsequent postings to that thread, which I have to open one-by-one ........... previously they all just flowed one after another without me having to click on each individual posting ......... maybe I did something to my settings ............ any ideas? I am unable to save an escort profile to 'my favorites' folder. Cookies are activated and I have a valid log-in (silver membership). When I click on 'add to favorites' I get the unauthorized access message box. Is this feature available only to Gold members?
