  1. Started by spoon,

Ive started this on a other's trip report as an update but it turns out ive additional experiences that i think id like to put it here instead. As a start, i copied the previous post here with some updates I am currently visiting for the first time. Staying in Diamond D'Angkor Boutique hotel, a bit out of the central tourist area but the room (deluxe) was phenomenal, big king size bed, separate shower/toilet and an outdoor bathtub. Cant asked for more and its only usd 40 per night inclusive breakfast. Anyway, i found out that barcode no longer provide massage service, really a bummer since its one of my priority given vinapu's success here. My hotel is about 10 minute…

Depart from BKK. No check in queue for Thai Smile, no security queue and a fairly short wait at passport control. The Thai Smile flight from BKK had a bus, all the way from gate E2A up past section A to the opposite end of the terminal where the plane was parked. This is an extensive bus tour of the terminal. Just like my last flight to PP with Cambodian Angkor Air. Aussie also had a bus with a third airline in his September trip report. In Phnom Penh, things pick up. An airbridge! I am first off it and am through passport control in under 5 minutes, with my e-visa. I take a short visit to the WC and my bag is already on the belt. This airport is really effic…

Siem Reap My plan had been to take the train from Phnom Penh up to Battambang, with the recently reinstated service. however, it is suspended until January for line repairs. So I decided to go to Siem Reap instead. I took the well reviewed Giant Ibis bus service from Phnom Penh. This costs $15, compared with the $7 for a regular bus, like Sorya, whom I have used in the past. The Giant Ibis bus was very disapointing and I cannot recommend it. OK, there were no additional stops for passengers, but the bus drove at a snails pace & took 7 hours, on fairly quiet Sunday roads. During the trip, we were overtaken by at least 10 other full size buses all of which …

I have just returned back to Pattaya from a 5 day visit to Phnom Penh. After arriving at the airport the process was fairly painless to get the tourist visa. Bangkok Air give out the visa forms and make sure you have a 6 x 4 passport size photo and $US30 cash. I will try another airline next time. Bangkok Air are expensive and you are bussed to the plane waiting 10 minutes away at the terminal at Bangkok. The boutique lounge is ok each way but nothing special. I heard Chinese airline JC Air are good for price and service and also fly from my preferred Suvarnabhumi airport to Phnom Penh. They might be worth a try next time i fly to Cambodia. Just outside the terminal a…

It's a Gay hotel in PP catering only to Gay men. I stayed there earlier this year and I'm afraid I cannot say anything positive about it for the price you are paying. I think it was around $140 US a night which included the taxes. Apart from the internal spiral staircase which I found unsafe as there were no railings ; I found the staff put pressure on you for a overpriced massage which I didn't want I must admit the rooms which all have names were clean and very modern with erotic male artwork. The French owner was out and about checking on his hotel and asked me my opinion, I did tell him I believe it was overpriced. A few nights later I did move next…

Hi all, I will travel from Thailand to Cambodia for my first time during November. Can anyone advise me on the best area to head to in Cambodia for me to visit for gay scene and Go Go bars. I'm not particularly interested in temples. Are there any gay cruising areas, saunas, bars etc? I understand that I can use apps also just unsure of the best area to head to as I may only visit one this trip. Also how safe is it to walk around especially at night? Some say it's fine other have had bad experiences. My preference for boys is the twink type. Thanks

From Phnom Penh Post Cambodia and Thailand plan to officially open a new international border checkpoint in mid-May, an official confirmed on Sunday. Hi gentlemen Now it is a month away from my trip to Asia and Siem Reap is going to be my first stop. I’ll depart from Houston on Nov 17 and arrive on Nov 19 at 6pm, and I’ll stay until Nov 22. I hired a private tour guide will take me to the temples during the day, but I’d definitely welcome some company in the evening. I’ll be staying at Tito Suite Residence (3 mins walk to Pub Street) so please hit me up if you are in town during my visit. Also, this is my first time to Cambodia, unlike in Thailand, I found there are very limited choices on gay massage. Is men’s resort overall the best in town? Is looking for outcall message on gay apps a good and economical solut…

Just noticed in Utopia-Asia, Siem Reap that a new gay club is opening in Siem Reap called H & DB started by the Dreamboys group. Supposed to open soon, Pre-opening party was scheduled on July 7. They have their own web site http://dreamboysgroup.com/ and several Instagram listings. Anyone have more onfo? Looks good!

From Khaosod English BANGKOK — Wearing a glittering golden crown, a male dancer in a purple sarong sways gracefully in an ancient Khmer routine. A necklace hangs from his neck, and bangles adorn his wrists, arms and ankles like the ancient temple dancers whose movements he evokes. Especially stunning are the bare-chested men personifying female characters in a performance that signifies a leap forward for Cambodia’s once-invisible LGBT performing arts community. At a Friday performance of the Prumsodun Ok and Natyarasa dance company, it wasn’t the dancers’ sexual identities that made for a captivating performance, but their command of traditional Khmer da…

Recently visited Siem Reap and while massages and man chasing was not on my agenda at all life run its course leading me to visit 4 massage places and here are my impressions: BLUE HATHA / I learned hatha means hand in Khmer/. Centrally located, two blocks from Pub Street. 6-7 boys on duty, similar format to HERO , boys behind the glass and you pick up whomever you like the most. Took my usual 1.5 hr. session with boy with broadest smile at me. 1 hr.- 15 USD , 1.5 hr. 20 USD. Only cold shower, shower alone .Mattress on elevated pedestal. Massage good, boy in underwear, removed at bit later. Pretty soon talk turned to boyfriends , marriage proposals etc. Shortl…

I love to read but do not like to write , particularly in English as that is not my native ... but decided to give a try sorry for the mistakes ... First day ... After having a wonderful trip in last July to Siem Reap , I was thinking of visiting Cambodia again and finally last week my plane ( Jetstar flight from Bangkok after a lovely week in Pattaya ) landed to Phnom Penh . A touristic visa valid for one month with a 30 USD fee was granted in 5 minutes and 10 minutes later I was in a taxi heading towards Rambutan Hotel . Due to the rush hour traffic ( 16.30 ) it took more than a hour to reach the hotel . Young taxi driver was very talkative and gave me a lot of…

I saw a bar advertised on Grindr with hot looking guys pictured, very very hot looking. First of all let me say this, I wont name the bar , because if I did guaranteed there will be someone who will post that they experienced opposite to me at this bar and they found it completely different etc and never ever had the same problem as me etc etc (and they are writing this from a desktop in the backwoods of Alaska or somewhere.) So let me start by saying that i did go to this advertised bar in PP. Very very gorgeous guys nice bodies. I immediately asked the papasan? If i could take a boy , he was shocked and said no. I thought he misunderstood me so i asked a b…

I arrived via a Thai airways flight from Bangkok. According to the stewardess, as I had an e-visa, I didn't need to fill in any of the forms they were handing out on the plane. Wrong. I had to suffer the humiliation of being sent to the back of the (admittedly short) queue once by the immigration officer and then by the customs officer. I'm sure I must have saved some time somewhere paying a premium for the e-visa but it's not immediately obvious. My first bout of indulgence, after a visit to the disturbing Toul Sleng Genocide museum, was a visit to Ganesh House for a 90 minute oil massage. I haven't seen it mentioned a great deal, so here's my account for the record.…

Visa fees will increase by $10 starting in October. Tourists will have to pay $30 for a one-month entry visa and business visitors $35, up from the $20 and $25, respectively, that is currently charged.

Hi people... I´m thinking in going to Cambodia for a month, but I´m looking for the prices of the guest houses and I´m finding that it´s always, more or less, the double than in thailand. I´m visiting Thailand for the last three months and I´ve been always living in guest houses for 150 or 200 or 250 Bath, that means 4 or 5 or 6 euros, in dollars 6,5 or 7,8 or 9. It´s really cheap and the guest houses are ok, they are clean and have hot water and wifi and a fun. That´s all I need. Even I´ve been in one that also have swiming pool for 200 Bath (5 euros, 8 dollars). So I´ve been told that Cambodia is also very cheap, but the cheaper price for a guest house is 15…
