The “@ Phadung Krung Kasem” festival was launched on Monday by Dr Suksan Kittisupakorn, deputy permanent-secretary of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. I would like to say it was a great experience. But, it wasn't. I booked a guy for today in the VIP Room. I had hours notice and double confirmation. However, when I got there, they said the VIP room was on the 5th Floor and thought it was too high for me. I said I was fine going up the stairs. We recalled the really strange item on a bar's progamme where, in between displays of male flesh, often accompanied by foam, fire, glow paint and baptismal glory (hurray!), an elderly lady would appear, dressed in traditional silk finery, to perform a classical dance. From the Thaiger Air Canada will launch direct flights to Thailand next month. A Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will service the route, flying between Bangkok and Vancouver four days per week. It will be the first direct service linking North America and Thailand in 10 years. I finally decided to get out of my apartment. I had a bout with Covid which took longer than expected to heal. The cough is still there but the ATK tests negative. Been a lot of comments here how it's a run down hotel, better deals for better hotels, etc.... I think it's as nice as it has ever been.....the bed is very good, I booked a front of the bldg room. Breakfast isn't a buffet I'm told, there are 3 options, Thai, western, Japanese until 10:30 am. I ordered lunch....very delicious.....My friend is staying at the Peninsula, the pics look amazing...but for $25 usd a night, breakfast for 2 and the location near the bars...I'll take Tarntawan any day. Back rooms without food was $17 when I booked..... Also the internet is SUPER fast, 5G connection

Their website is still up but when I click on Reservations it comes up as invalid request and they aren't answering emails, just wondering if it's still open for business or temporarily closed or just closed down?
