  1. Does anyone have information about limousine services, or something similar to Uber, in Chiang Mai? WHile in Chiang Mai I will need to go to a small village located about an hour's drive from the city center. Thanks.

    APP. USAGE

What appears to be the most frequently used app by Thai guys to meet other people? This will be my first attempt to use an app to meet someone.
  3. Vinapu, you are absolutely correct with your fee information. Recently I offed a fellow at BBB and was surprised at an off fee of 800. The fellow was NOT in any of the shows, just standing on the stage with all of the other fully dressed guys. I should have asked about the off fee but did not. Lesson learned: do not buy something without knowing how much it costs. How easily we let down our natural guards in certain situations: such is life.
  4. Reader, you had 24 massage adventures in less than a month's time? WOW! You are my hero.
  5. Face it, these guys are con artists; as most people throughout the world in the prostitution industry. At the Copa, the sigh the guy held stated 400 for the room and 500 for the message. After paying the clerk at the Copa the 900, the guy then stated 1000 for his services, thereby making the entire session 1,900. BEFORE paying the front desk clerk at the Copa, I repeatedly asked the guy about the 500/400 prices. Smiling and encouragingly, the guy said 900 for everything. Again, AFTER I paid the 900 to the hotel clerk, the guy mentioned the additional 1000 as his tip. I asked for my 900 back and left. I have paid this price, 1900 and more for massages/fun, but I knew the cost beforehand, not afterwards. By the way, the Copa hotel clerk was a total unfriendly ass! I did not incur such expensive travel costs for this type of treatment! Thank goodness for other places offering more transparent, honest and friendly services. Wasn't it an American from Oklahoma who said "there is one born every minute"? I'm not sure.

    Chiang Mai

Any hotel recommendations near the gay clubs and massage areas in Chiang Mai?
  7. Thanks guys. A few years ago I met a couple of very nice guys from Vietnam kworking at a restaurant in BKK. I decided then to visit Vietnam in hope of meeting other nice guys. However, past research on Vietnam revealed very little, if any, positive info, so I did not visit there. Apparently nothing has changed positively concerning the gay scene in Vietnam, so I will again pass on taking a short excursion there. You guys saved me a lot of money and frustration!! This board is truly a valuable asset.
  8. After two weeks in Bangkok, again I am thinking of visiting Cambodia and Vietnam EXCLUSIVELY to meet the guys. Any recent information on the gay scenes in each country such as go-go bars, massage places, and bars to meet guys for a short time hotel visit? Any information related only to hooking up with the guys would be appreciated. I am posting this here in hope of attracting more viewers and possible comments. Thanks.
  9. Many thanks to the guys who replied with "hotel suggestions". That and only that is what I was looking for.
  10. For information only: the front desk clerk was asking for a guest registration fee of $50 (yes, dollars) all in the name of "hotel security" of course. I am wondering if the concern is really for security or just another way to get money. This information is just for laughts and NOT FOR COMMENTS .
  11. To clarify; when the guy and I initially arrived at the hotel together, we BOTH registered at the front desk. We reveived 2 keys, one key for each of us. Like many hotels, after you enter the room, one key is placed into a slot to activate the electricity. We left the hotel together and went to eat; taking only one key with us. The other key was still in the hotel room in the slot for electricity. I returned to the hotel alone with the one key. Later when he returned to the hotel, he did not have the second key because the key was still in the hotel room. As he approached the hotel elevator, the hotel doorman, who was standing inside the hotel, stopped my friend, questioned him and directed him to the front deck located directly in front of the elevators. Since there appears to be some confusion with my choice of words, I will rephrase my comment made on the original post. The hotel staff appears to treat gay guests registered at the hotel DIFFERENTLY from registeted guests who may not be gay. I am not looking for my posts to be analyzed one way or another, I am ONLY asking for any suggestions on gay friendly hotels in Rio. If anyone is confused about my request, just ignore it. But if you has a suggestion for a gay friendly hotel, please share the information. Also I am familiar with the Atlantico hotel and not interested in Airbnb. I hope this additional information will help.
  12. Aside from the very old and not well maintained Atlantico hotel, can anyone recommend other gay friendly hotels? The hotel staff where I am currently staying is indifferent toward gays. Twice they stopped and questioned my companion who is registered at the hotel. When I inquired about this, they focused on "hotel security": POR FAVOR. For 2 days I intentionally sat in the lobby to watch people entering the hotel. A few times I saw guys arrive with obvious female prostitutes (one guy came in twice with different girls) and no one said a damn thing to them. To think we still have to go through this kind of crap in 2017. I wish to change hotels. Again I am very familiar with the Atlantico, no need to refer it. Any recommendations on OTHER hotels?
  13. Aside from the saunas, where do gays hang out during the day at the beach in Copacabana? And are there areas, for example restaurants etc, where gays hang out at night?
  14. In an anticipated first trip to Guadalajara, Mexico I contacted 10 escorts from an internet site. A month later I decided not to go and informed the guys of this. Wirhin the next few days I received email requests FROM ALL 10 GUYS asking for me to lend money to them because of recent emergencies, medical crisis, family health problems, etc. I was absolutely shocked by this! Again, the requests came from not one guy but from all of them - unbelievable!!! I am glad I cancelled my trip and will have no contact with any of these guys. I dread to think about what they would try to do to exploit money from me if I were actually there.
  15. I found most of the guys at https://mx.mileroticos.com/escorts-gay and Grindr. We communicated via email and WhatsApp using the translator (thank goodness for that app). Quoting a higher price is typical for the guys, regardless of the country, especially when they sense that you are a novice. That is why I consult with others, like you, when going to a new country or venue. Information from guys like you have facilitated many a trip. Thanks!
  16. In Guadalajara, any massage places and bars where you can take guys back to the hotel?
  17. I have contacted 4 different guys in Guadalajara and they requested $100 - $150 (US dollars). I said "no thanks, too expensive". How are you meeting guys for $35?
  18. Great advice for Spoon. Almost every Black-American I have met in Thailand has complained about racial discrimination against Blacks throughout Asia. They went on to say look beyond it and make the best of your trip. Great positive thinking. As one guy added: "f--k it, their loss, just enjoy yourself".
  19. Pastrami & Rye has closed? I am not surprised. The food was o.k, nothing special and a bit expensive. I do not mind paying a lot for a good delicious meal, but not for an o.k. meal. I was always the only customer when I ate there. The restaurant was o.k. for something different but again, pricy.
  20. Reported on the news: the passengers on the flight are sueing United for millions because they are traumatized for being on that flight - WOW! GET REAL. I was traumatized when I saw the incident on the news. Maybe I should also sue United Airlines. None of the passengers did anything to help or aide the poor guy, and now they want to benefit financially by his misfortune! UNBELIEVABLE. Only in the USA!
  21. a447a thanks a lot for providing more details about your experiences in Vietnam. Enlightenment, both good and bad, is wonderful to have! Due to people like you and others on various sites I have had some GREAT trips and experiences!!! I can vividly remember visiting my grandparents who had a lot of flowers planted around their house; how beautiful. As I approached the flowers my grandfather warned me to be careful of the thorns on the roses? Thorns, roses? Eventually I learned what he meant and enjoyed the beauty of the flowers without the pain of the thorns. Thanks to many of you, my trips have been as beautiful as a rose without the pain of the thorns.

    Jupiter Star

Fot me, he is a wonderful guy. I have been with him four times. He drives a very nice white Toyota car and drove us to the hotel after his last act for the night. Once he had his motorcycle with him, but I am not the motorcycle type. He was very-very accommodating and this is why we were together four times (I am more the butterfly type). But again, he is a wonderful guy .
  23. Rest and be assured that the photos of the guys on the web sites ARE NOT representative of the guys that actually work there. Like in Thailand, the businesses use photos of models or older photos of guys to lure in customers. This seems to be a standard practice - so be it. Go there, have a good time with what they have to offer but DO NOT EXPECT to hook up wth any of the guys featured in their ads or you will be disappointed. Thanks for posting the information for Los Angeles.
  24. Thanks I will call and tell him.
  25. My friend is in Pattaya and has a bad case of diaherria. Can anyone recommend an English speaking doctor in Pattaya. Thanks
