  1. 1000 baht is not peanuts. Most ordinary Thais know how to stretch their bahts at the local markets where they could get their favourite food & fruits very cheap. Chicken rice still cost about 35-40 baht per serving. Mangosteen can be bought for 20-30 baht per kilo. Even the Bangkok-Pattaya bus cost 5 baht less than last year due to low petroleum prices. Unless of course if the boys decided to splurge his tips on alcohol & imported stuff, 1000 baht is a good income for his 1-2 hours effort, on a regular basis.
  2. Pattaya has one big advantage over Bangkok - the sea. The sound of the waves, the sea breeze, sunset on a good day. Lounging under beach umbrellas with masseurs and other services available at your beck & call. And only occasionally while enjoying the water one is rudely brushed by floating jetsam, which is a slight annoyance. The sea, the sea...
  3. There is some discomfort at the start of bottoming, and I try to get around it by sitting on my partner and easing in his appendage slowly into me...after a few rides, we should be able to try out any position.
  4. When all the planet's align...alas. It can be rather difficult to reconcile all the positive attributes of person wrt knowledge, temperament, or sexuality etc in a prospective guide. Some punters have been lucky going by their trip reports.
  5. With the aid of GPS and local maps on a big-screen smartphone I'm not too worried about losing my way as long as the sun is still above the horizon. Details about a particular area, especially in touristic places can be easily obtained online.
  6. How to get to know university students in Laos? Narrow your search online whether on Gayromeo or other sites to members aged 18-25, get their Facebook and befriend their friends that you like. Each university student has many friends on Facebook. Make favourable comments on their postings from time to time. And when you finally decide to visit Laos, you would probably have several friends willing to meet you.
  7. Dating tip : follow some university students Facebook and make some earnest plans. If there is some interest shown, you can meet them when you visit Laos.
  8. I just returned from Laos, visiting Savannakhet, Thakhek, and finally Vientiane. Weather-wise it has been the hottest week with daytime temperature almost reaching 40C. And the guys were equally hot! Most hotels have acceptable Wi-Fi, and with so many guys using online dating sites. I've engaged a few young men since they were students at Vientiane university, and now back in their hometowns. Weren't they horny! Some enterprising guys were available quite cheaply. They were quickest to reply online and would appear at your door pronto! If not for the excessive heat, I would have enjoyed myself in a more sedate manner.
  9. Go to soi twilight and choose from the many bars & boys. Lots of varieties for everyone.
  10. Since they touch you first, I think it's only fair if you touch them back.
  11. How about some local students?
  12. Once I was the only customer at a spa and after the full parade of potential masseurs, I had to decline because all of them appeared pale, as I was expecting some darker Isaan guys. They all clapped in unison when I stood up to leave the premises.
  13. Watching acrobatic sex acts in the bars in soi twilight.
  14. I try to remind myself not to take in boys after a very exhausting day shopping or sightseeing - my performance is definitely better after some good rest. Shouldn't blame it on the boys all the time, when there's some disappointment either way.
  15. The boys look like Vietnamese.

    Bangkok Shutdown

Last Sunday, the trip on BTS to Morchit was quick, but it was quite hard to find taxis to get to Don Muang airport due to road closures at some parts of the city. However, once the taxi driver made his detour, the remainder of the trip to the airport was very smooth & fast. I enjoyed walking about the demonstration sites as I did not have to worry about traffic. And in between political speeches, there were some good performances by Thai musicians & bands for the appreciative crowds. On the plus side, the weather was extremely good for walking.
  17. oztrvlr, Rashes sometimes happen on very hairy legs after an over enthusiastic massage ... my very own experience. I always ask the masseur to go slow on my hairy legs.
  18. Some Thais are like birds - they don't read maps but can travel almost anywhere on instincts.
  19. Samui and surrounding islands are interesting even during the present climate.
  20. A great report, and very enjoyable. Some of your eye candies are delicious too!
