  1. They have surveilance cameras inside Eros. I had never spotted them before so I guess they haven't been there all the time. Seems weird since the nature of their "business model" imho but "up to them".
  2. It was not long ago someone clever in city hall decided to paint car lanes in Boyztown and had all the bars there move away their tables and chairs from the street to not block car trafic. We all knew this was a thai ting that would soon go back to normal and wouldn't be upheld by the police. I was thinking about that when I saw that BBB reclaimed one lane with large loudspeakers etc.
  3. Well if chuck wow is a problem then Goodboys, Eros and Nice boys in Sunee better be avoided ;-)
  4. I really can't understand why someone would find the pingpongs a bad thing. Almost all of the lady agogos have them. I have never heard a thai boy complain that it would be degrading. On the contrary, most thai boys love every kind of game and play and especially if money is involved and there have been alot of smiles and laughter everytime I've seen someone throw pingpong-balls.
  5. It is still open but looks very deserted every time I walk past. I believe business is slow there.
  6. Casa Fellini. It used to be one of my favourite restaurants in Pattaya but has really gone downhill the last year or two both regarding service and food quality.
  7. It is not difficult to find a taxi from Pattaya to Suvarnabhumi for 1000-1100 baht. Taxi stands offering that price are everywhere.
  8. Finally a gogo bar that lowers its prices! Kawaii has several alcoholic drinks for 150 baht now, such as Bacardi breezer and Chang beer. 8 slim and cute boys on the stage dancing very enthusiastic Tuesday evening. Just like the old times Kawaii which always had slim and cute boys and always was fun to visit because the boys actually were dancing and not standing still and looking bored like in some bars. Nice to see that this bar is back.
  9. Morocco a democracy? Come on... However I shouldn't have encouraged the troll to derail this topic further. It was about a specific incident in Boyztown which seem to be not at all that the original source reported, so I suggest this topic to be closed.
  10. According to Pattaya One News the police want a paper copy of passport and may not see a photo in your phone as sufficent.
  11. I find it rather strange to start a new topic and post a rumour that you've heard from ONE host in one bar that a complete soi would close in just a few days, and when other sources say business would go on for years.
  12. Please enlighten us and name one arabic/muslim nation that is democratic, peaceful and tolerant to non-muslims and gays.
  13. All thai ATMs I know of charge 220 baht for taking out cash. Where are these 150 baht ATMs?
  14. If the information you recieved is correct, this bar didn't last 3 weeks. That must be some kind of new record? It sure makes me yet again amazed of how many people in Pattaya during the years who clearly have no idea of how to run a bar and no clue about the market they try to attract, still spend lots of money on opening bars and then clearly without any realistic economic calculations and prognoses get disappointed very quickly and just close.

    Jomtien

I feel exactly 100% the same as you. Most times when I visit Jomtien complex I just walk through it without seeing any boy I fancy enough to make decision to sit down in the bar and buy him and myself a drink. And it is difficult to sit down and have a drink alone with the intention to observe the boys in the bar first. If you haven't bought a boy a drink immidietly when arriving, my experience is same as yours, the boys will ignore you sitting facing the soi so they have their backs to you and looking their phones or chatting among themselves, or running around in the soi out of reach for you. I prefer Sunee plaza or Boyztown.
  16. Seeing the video where the "victim" speaks thai sure makes me doubt the version published by ThePattayaNews.com on their facebooksite. Sounds more like they were both employees of Scandic and were fighting over a customer.
  17. From The Pattaya News Facebooksite today: A 34 year old Middle Eastern tourist, whose exact country was not disclosed, Mr. Mohamed Mueller, was attacked and sustained significant wounds to his right leg during a brawl with an employee of a gay bar in Boyztown near Soi 13/4 in the early morning hours of October 19th, 2018. The employee, who is a 29 year old Cambodian National, stated that Mr. Mueller walked by the bar shirtless, wearing only a pair of black shorts and started verbally insulting the bar workers and using homophobic slurs. This led to an escalation which then led to a physical fight with Mr. Mueller and the Cambodian National. The employee stated he was only acting in self defence as Mr. Mueller was intoxicated and shoved him first. Mr. Mueller's injuries were due to falling over a table. Mr. Mueller, who did appear to be heavily intoxicated, stated that he was not aware he had walked into the gay area of Pattaya and that he found it offensive. He stated that the employee of the bar had physically grabbed him and he responded by shoving him away. He said at this point the employee attacked him and knocked him into a glass table where he sustained his wounds. He admitted that he may have used a few choice words. Mr. Mueller was taken to the hospital for his wounds and the Cambodian National, who was also believed to be working without a work permit, was arrested for assault. Police will look at CCTV to determine the true story.
  18. I believe it might be 800 before midnight and 500 after midnight or something like that.
  19. But I didn't find them ugly just not my type. One of them I would maybe have considered offing at Sunee plaza rates but definiteley not at Big boy bar rates.
  20. I believe only the gogo bars on Walking street with russian speaking ladies from eastern Europe and Uzbekistan have higher prices than this bar. Btw, the showtimes in this bar are 22:30 and 00:30 according to the sign outside the bar.
  21. Now I have also visited this bar and agree with Williewillies conclusion in his post above: will not visit the bar again. A few remarks: - 360 baht for an alcoholic drink makes it the most expensive of all the boybars in Pattaya. - Paying to see boys in tanktops and jeans is not for me. I can see dressed boys for free everywhere. - A show which for the most part contains of ladyboys lypsync is nothing I find interesting. - I don't agree with this bars definition of what a "big boy" is. I saw no boy in there that I would call big or muscular. - The boys were on the older side than most other agogos in Pattaya. I would guess 24-30+ years old. - During my visit the same ladyboy mamasan (?) approached me 3 times asking me what number I want. One more time they sent another staff to me asking the same. One thing that was new to me in the ladyboys approach though was that she actually had a microphone when asking me so the whole bar could hear "What number you like?". I guess that maybe works on some people to get the pressure more high and make them buy a boydrink. - I was informed that buying a boy a drink is 350 baht and taking a boy off is 800 baht to the bar. I wish this bar good luck with the chinese.
  22. That is the same as when I had a peek inside on their first day. The stage was empty but music was on. Weird. Btw the layout of the bar is the same as when it was 360 degree boy.
  23. The police are raiding Powerboys right now. Police officers are standing and blocking the door and it looks like they're checking boys ID inside. Seems like only this bar is targeted and all other bars in Sunee open as usual.
