After Z went back, I had time to myself in morning. I was at swimming pool for half an hour then back to hotel room for Netflix and Tiktok. At 1.30pm, I had lunch appointment with fellow forum member. He suggested we eat at new Foodland branch at Park Silom. Very clean and new but not as big as I expected. Prices are same as Foodland Patpong. However, atmosphere will never beat Foodland Patpong! Fellow forum member and I then continued our conversations while we walked around Patpong and Silom. It was their off day hence they did not have to report to their bar and they could go to other bars. I told him I could not off him tonight but I will off him another night. Z was the chosen one. After chatting for about an hour or so, our merry trio of forum members went our separate ways. I had a great time with Z and we were exhausted and slept by 1am. We continued with round 2 in morning then we washed up and went for breakfast. After breakfast, Z went home. "See you tonight!" we both said to each other.

If only he had focused more on the bars! It's as though he was in a hurry to pass them quickly and reach the end of the soi!

Glad that you enjoyed Screwboys and Banana Bar! These are the most under rated bars in my opinion. Not as classy and polished as Jupiter, Moonlight and Dreamboys but they have their charms.

And that concludes my trip report. To be honest, I didn't know whether to write and post it since it's so short. Some update after my trip - my "cha nuoi" lost his gig at Dreamboys after the bar let go of all non-Thai guys. He tried to go to Freshboys or Banana Bar but they are full at moment.

I had wanted to meet two guys from Moonlight and Tawan after reading positive reports about them from fellow forum members but I was kept occupied by the good company at Hotmale Beer Bar downstairs. In a first for me, on my last night, I bought a round of drinks for the staff and even included a small tip. Very friendly welcoming staff and excellent service.

He says he rarely gets customers because there are so many guys on stage and he is older than the rest (he's only 27!) I told him that there's guys older than him at Dreamboys! He also theorises that it's because he's so dark due to working in the sun. He meets me at Hotmale Beer Bar downstairs. He had texted me in advance: "You no go my bar. Today I no go work so you no need buy drink and pay bar money take me hotel". Once in hotel, I had a shock. There were elaborate tattoos on his back. He didn't have them before. "Why you no tell me?" I asked. He admitted sheepishly that he thought I might not like them. But I think he's indirectly admitting that he felt guilty for spending the money I sent to him in Vietnam on such tattoos. "It's ok. You are my cha nuoi." And with that, we spent the night 5 years after we last saw each other.

This happened one month ago in 1st week of October. I was in Bangkok for a weekend. Took evening flight from Singapore. Once I checked into room at Le Meridien, off I went at 9.30pm to Hotmale Beer Bar downstairs to meet with forum member whom I haven't met for two years ever since Covid. New bar Sol directly opposite had some yummy shirtless guys hanging around once their rotation on stage ended. Unlikely that any bar will hold special theme nights. The only times they have special shows are Christmas, Halloween, Songkran, New Year and Chinese New Year (for Chinese customers). When I wanted speedo or underwear parade, I would take two guys back to hotel and get them to model for me.

And because of him, all non Thai boys cannot work at Dreamboys and they scrambled to find work at the other boys.

I consider myself very privileged to have met some of the friendly members on this forum. Lucky me landed in Bangkok on a rainless Thursday night for a weekend fling from Singapore. It had been raining the past three nights and many streets were flooded. Hotmale Beer Bar first floor offers excellent view of the guys at new bar Sol directly facing it opposite. At any one time, about 3 to 5 boys hanging outside for smoke break or dinner when they finish their rotation on stage inside bar. White sleeveless T-shirt and red shorts with large individualised numbers printed on them (similar to sports team shorts) so punters don't have to squint at small red round buttons! Boys are mostly transfers from other bars but all are offable material. Not too old. Average next door slim types. One blonde boy with Korean style haircut was prancing around with shirt unbuttoned showing off his abs. Unfortunately, I didn't enter Sol so I can't report on show.
