    As I've said before in this forum and mentioned to you in person last week when our paths crossed, your reports are among the most read features found here.  I believe because you have a sharp eye and a descriptive writing style.  And, most importantly (to me) is your empathy and insight into the native boys.

    Hopefully this is the trolling side of you posting. If these thoughts keep you from enjoying yourself, I suggest you go home and lock the door and never come out again. Human interaction is not for you.
    And for what it's worth, I do the snoring and it ruins his sleep. But he likes the payoff so puts up with it.

    Glad to see a Forum specifically for the Philippines.
    I have been visiting there for over 12 years and will try to add some of my stories and pics.
    I am just back from 2 weeks in Cebu City. I love it. So much better than Manila.
    However, even the traffic in CC is becoming a problem.
    I always plan a side trip for my Holidays there.
    This trip I planned to go to Oslob and see the Whale Sharks. But a terrible cold ruined my plans.
    AHHH next time.
    If you have any questions about the Southern Phils just ask!!

    Glad to see a Forum specifically for the Philippines.

    My Lost and Found story was in the Philippines.
    I was taking the Fast Ferry from Cagayan de Oro to Camiguin Island with a Pinoy friend.
    We took a taxi to the port. Got to the waiting area and I realized I did not have my camera bag.
    Lots of expensive equipment in there. Heart broken.
    But as we were waiting for the Ferry, my name was called on the address system.
    Went to the desk and there was our taxi driver with my bag. WOW so HAPPY!!!
    I tried to give him a 1000PHP tip, about 20USD, but he would not accept it.
    So I just had to say "Salamat na salamat po!!"
    There are many good people in Asia!!!
