  1. Glad it went great and just hope no terrorist attack. Sorry Rio is beautiful but there are many other places that could challenge for unparalleled beauty Award.
  2. At this point just have to hope there is not a terrorist attack For Brazil and Rio it is likely to be a financial disaster. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/olympics-2016-how-brazils-grand-plan-for-games-went-from-party-to-disaster-195709625.html
  3. Do a simple search of Medellin in this Forum. There are a number of threads.
  4. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/news/rio-olympics-security-firm-fired-maligned-police-force-takes-over-221722153.html This is why you don't give the Olympics to a country that is 3rd rate in so many ways. Hopefully ISIS does not realize what a joke security is in Rio.
  5. In some ways Olympic organizers have done a good job selecting Modern Cities in stable countries at least for the Summer Games. Athens might have been questionable due to its economy but London ,Bejing , Sydney Seoul, Atlanta, LosAngeles were cities with great infrastructure and solid economies backed by Countries that had stable economies. This was a bad pick to begin with. A city with corrupt officials, systemic poverty, terrible transportation, etc etc etc. It will come off and NBC will make it look good and then when it is over the citizens will be left with useless buildings , no money to take care of the poor etc etc etc. Just a shame!
  6. https://www.yahoo.com/news/australia-boycott-rio-athletes-village-not-safe-not-161643237.html?ref=gs This is what happens when you choose a country that can't take care of its own problems to put on the biggest sporting event in the world. This is just one of many stories about Rio's failure to be ready . But NBC I am sure will have beautiful scenic vistas to show off what arguably is one of the most breathtaking cities in the world. Unfortunately it is just not capable of pulling this off because of widespread corruption and systemic poverty.
  7. I tried to send this as a PM but you are not accepting PM's so I am forced to send it here: Well I hope you actually go at some point because I have no doubt you will love it. One suggestion though you asked for and got a lot of replies on Gaythailand about planning a trip to Thailand and you never once acknowledged those replies. There are plenty of members on that site including OZ (Michael) willing to help with the planning but we would like to at least have a thank you for responding to your requests for info.. Just saying!
  8. Well Michael never spent any times in Bars other then to walk in and point to 1/2 dozen to take home and they won't be coming back. HeHe This Website is a waste of time to talk anyone into going to Thailand. I can't think of 1 single convert except maybe planetime. ( not sure)
  9. You just don't have enough experience. Practice makes perfect and I'd bet your online boys in Thailand represent about 1/10 of 1 percent of the boys you have seen. HaHa
  10. Had some recent experience around last Thanksgiving. Lots of boys on Hornet and there is another thread somewhere with a site where escorts advertise which is ok. I did find the boys rarely looked anywhere a s good as their photos and since the city is so massive , arrival times were rarely kept. I think it figured out to $50-$80 but I tend not grind very hard. This site appears to be very useful if the timing works out. For the most part the best looking boys at least in my opinion are visiting from Colombia and ask 2-3x as much as they would in Colombia. http://mx.mileroticos.com/escorts-gay/ All and all although it has been a few years Colombia is far better IMHO.
  11. Feeling safe is a matter of degree. Do you feel safe every time you go to an ATM machine? If you do , you should not. Do you feel safe at midnight 1 or 2 blocks removed from the beach. Again you should not. How many places do you go where you have to remove all jewelry, watches and iPhones to feel safe. I get that if you are a Sauna lover then there is nothing to compare with Brazil but I never felt completely safe there in 5 trips and although honestly that is not the reason I stopped visiting , it is certainly a reason I would consider before returning. As in most things the Odds are with you but it does not mean that the odds are not a lot worse there then many other destinations. From everything I read, things are much worse then they have been in many years . For the experienced visitor that is one decision but for the inexperienced visitor those realities need to be taken into consideration.
  12. Should be no surprise as violence of all kinds has increased. Corrupt government gets the Olympics and then takes money from the people to line their own pockets. Poverty is worse then ever. But not to fear NBC will make it look like the most beautiful and safe destination in the World!
  13. Since I don't remember Tomcal ever posting anything in Asia Forum, these thoughts would be much better in the proper Forum that includes Brazil or Europe and once in awhile in Florida.
  14. I was there once for a short time and have plans for October. If by the scene , you mean GoGo Bars , Massage Parlors etc, it is not even close. However lots of boys on Hornet who want to make money at similar prices to Thailand and the bonus being most speak good English.
  15. It's Hot and Humid just like Florida in the summer. There is good air conditioning everywhere including taxis, sky train etc. It is not exactly rainy season but there will be showers, mostly at night and short lived.
  16. when is your next trip. I will be in Thailand Nov6- Xmas at least that is the plan right now. 4 days in BKK on the front end and 4 days on the end of the stay.
  17. Mvan1 you need to take an English course! "Thailand's immigration seems extreme if this story is true" That is what you posted and you continue not to reply to your stupid post that someone who tears out pages from their passport should not be considered a threat and not allowed into the country. Maybe you can get you a JOB with TSA since they fail the tests regularly with boarding passengers carrying illegal things. Perfect Job for you!!
  18. You are a total Moron!! Is that clear enough for you? All your drivel and you never addressed the title of your original post which clearly states if the article is true then Thailand went to far. You are the one of nothing but personal attacks. You do it over and over again when you have been pointed out to be wrong. Your only useless retorts are sentence structure and spelling. Do you realize what an idiot you appear to be in most of your posts. Every time you reply to a simple question you put the same drivel that you have been to Brazil 160, 140, 180 times. Do you think anyone cares even if it might be true? Tomcal provides more useful information in 1 post then you have in all of your posts which are nothing but generalities and with no specifics. But at least you stay in the Brazil Forum . Now you want to infect the Thailand Forum with your useless articles and ridiculous suppositions about a place you know almost nothing about. It is easy to ignore you most of the time because the majority of your posts are inane and generally just reminding everyone that you have been to Brazil often. How many times is it actually? You have used 140, 160, 180. Any day now it will be 200. Do you realize how ridiculous you sound?
  19. Yak Yak Yak First of all I never made some promise to you especially when you make such a stupid post. Try reading the headline of your post ? It is clear you said it was extreme of Thailand to react in the way they did (if true) because it was a mutilated passport with pages removed . You love finding articles from questionable sources such as Rio Times and posting them . You got called on that by a number of members in the Brazil Forum. You must really be bored reading these questionable sources. But who knows this one could be true and if true you think Thailand Immigration acted rashly. It is almost ridiculous for you to try and say your post was to educate those who mutilate their passports. Maybe you just don't read your own post before entering them? Anyone who supposedly is such a world traveller should understand that a passport with removed pages Might indicate the individual did not want someone to know where they had travelled such as Iran, Syria etc etc . That plus her explanation was so ridiculous as to cast even more suspicion. If true they acted appropriately to make sure they don't have another terrorist attack.. Maybe during your 180 supposed trips to Brazil you don't worry about terrorism. Hopefully you will never have to regret that ignorance!!
  20. This post from a supposed World Traveller and its Title shows how ignorant somebody can be! In todays world if you rip pages out of your passport the immigration officials would certainly have reason to wonder what countries she may have visited. Does Terrorism maybe mean anything in your world???? Hooray for Thailand!!!!
  21. Choices and variety depending on what you like. I would guess if you had discovered the boy you refer to as your BF in Pattaya then that would have become your favorite destination. Easy to understand . Lots of Vietnamese boys in Jomtien. When I lived in Bangkok I met a favorite boy from XBoys and saw him a 100 times easily . At that point I felt just like you, Pattaya was a fun 5 days and then back to the Big City. But at some point , I decided I did not want to fall for anyone and just wanted a variety of boys. I stay in a high rise on the waterfront with all the things you have in Bangkok including pool etc and 100 yards from the best Mall. Complete kitchen and the price is similar to what you pay in Bangkok. There are plenty of Bars 5 minutes away and as I said at 1/2 the price of Bangkok so for me it just makes more sense at this point in my life . But I understand how you feel about Bangkok since I lived there for 30 months . A vibrant city and I would guess I would say higher class. I love it but now my stays are limited to 5-7 nights at end of trip.
  22. Although not a priority for me, I think you can find plenty of size in many places. For years I heard stereotypical responses that Asians are small. Baloney, I know many people who are size queens that have no problems finding what they like in Thailand. You will have no problem in Prague, Barcelona, Madrid etc etc etc . In fact in many European cities you will find many of the best looking Brazilian Boys . Yes you'll pay more then Brazil but travel may be much shorter and cheaper , so it evens out. Also in Brazil you must like the Sauna scene . Many do , but if that is not your thing (20-30 minute hookups) in tiny rooms then Brazil may not be the place for you. It's a big world and you can find what you are looking for in many places. Some good reports here on Colombia, Cuba , Santa Domingo etc all of which easily will satisfy size queens.
  23. I love the city also especially when I lived there for 2 1/2 years .. For me 30 day trips I enjoy 25 days in Pattaya and the last 5 in Bangkok. Many reasons for that but main one is there are just a lot more boys on the apps that are available in 30 minutes 24 hours a day. Pattaya is much smaller so no matter where the boy is he is not likely to be more then 20 minutes from my apartment and a 40 baht ride. Still lots of GoGo Bars and probably the best show Bar in Thailand and at 1/2 the price for drinks in Bangkok. Just today I looked on Planetromeo and 18-24 , there were 240 boys in the last 24 hours. 210 or more of those will be Moneyboys. Much lower % in Bangkok and travel time can be 2 hours which makes hook ups harder. Once you have seen the tourist sites in Bangkok, there is just nothing in Bangkok that you can't get in Pattaya at 1/2 the price . I fully admit I am no longer a 2am person so Bars are attractive to me only sporadically. But I am an early riser and in Pattaya at 7am there will be at least 40 boys to choose from that will be in my apartment in 60 minutes or less. Although not a beach person I do love sitting on my balcony watching the boats and people on the beach. I was able to live on the river in Bangkok and loved the continuos action but although I love that transportation was always a problem especially at night. Bottom line for me short trips 30 days or less Pattaya wins easily. Long term 6 months or more Bangkok would be in the running. Whichever one works for you is the one to stay at and if you are a first time visitor then you definitely have to try both. I forgot to mention if Massages are your thing then Bangkok wins hands down. The best ting is they are only 2 hours apart so very easy to explore both.
  24. Although I agree 380 baht is too much. Sometimes I have to remind myself that the strength of the Dollar will soon make that about $10. I have remind myself I have paid that much for an Orange Juice in South Miami on the Beach. I have paid that much or more in many restaurants in Atlanta , NYC, LosAngeles etc. Best of my memory none of those had any cute boys in underwear or less dying to go home with me even if it was for money (small money) If you are going to Bar Hop those $10 add up at the end of the night especially if you buy boys drinks rather then just giving out some 100 baht bills. But if you have visited more then once , most have a favorite Bar and stick to that one and nurse a drink or in my case a Diet Coke it just does not mean that much in the long run.
