Yeah - this is generous to put it mildly. this is the equivalent of a GP doing about 10 programas a night - plus the travel, meals, etc. I think a little something in their pocket for souvenirs is reasonable, but really. I don't think I mentioned this before, but I once met a GP at a sauna in Belo and had a great time there. I decided to ask him to accompany me the next day sightseeing and then back to the hotel for a bit. When we went back to my nice hotel he essentially threatened a scene if I did not pay him a ridiculous amount which he claimed we agreed to. After a brief argument I gave him R$1000 and told him to leave. Bizarrely he wanted to stay and to have me top him - a thing I do but was not at all in the mood for after the shakedown. I told him to go.
I learned my lesson and never take GPs back to my hotel unless I know them well - which means I almost never take anyone to my hotel. My point is - one time is NOTHING in terms of getting to know what you are getting into and to take this risk in a third country means he's lost all control. As tomcal said, it is his money, but it could have been better spent.

In my current trip to Sao Paulo, I have spent many hours in Lagoa but wanted something different. If you are curious about Lagoa, it has been very busy the nights I was there, especially Saturday night. At least 60 guys.
Anyway, I wanted an actual massage with a little sensuality thrown in. I went to inhouse agencia and had a mixed experience. Their web site (easy to Google) offers pics of many of the guys at the shop. I had a great massage from Breno, a straight Chilean with a deep voice and charming accent in Portuguese and English. I am not sure how far it could have gone, but I asked up front and got exactly what I wanted, and was very happy. That is important...ask upfront. Not all the guys go the full mile. If you want proper action though, I would suggest sticking to the sauna.
I got a far less enjoyable massage from Guilherme, a gorgeous young man with a stunning body. Unfortunately he was distant and did nothing special or particularly good in the massage. I had paid for a two massage package, glad I did otherwise I might not have had the great time with Breno.
They offer other services like waxing and pedicures, but the scheduling was confused on their side and in the end I did not get what I scheduled a week prior.
All in all, not an ideal experience but at least one very good massage.

Their site has good pics of the place. I have been there twice. Both times it seemed to me there were only a few gp's. Still there is lots to do....I met a regular young man in the sauna who was very eager to play. So we did. In terms of setup though, it is a fantastic place. I especially love the deck that overlooks the pool, but really the whole place is unequaled.

I agree with tomcal. Signal to the gp if you like him. Signaling usually means holding their gaze for half a second and smiling. That simple. I would add that if the guy with the lovely big meat hose or perfect little meat hose locker comes over and the chemistry is not what you hoped, let them know. They will quickly ask if you want to do something, a polite "not today, thank you" should do the trick.

The first photo is Henrique. I met him about five or six years ago at 117. I don't remember every programa I've ever done, but I remember that one. Third guy is Ricardo Abbas, he was reviewed on a Brazilian review site and received top marks. In the several hundred comments there were several other users who reported good encounters as well. when I called to activate a TIM card I purchased at a newsstand, I was given the option of an English telephone menu and even registering the SIM card using a passport as opposed to a CPF.
That same card came pre stamped so that it could be cut into a standard or mini size. the micro cards I believe are sold separately.

I was at Lagoa a couple of times this week and last, as often as I could between other commitments. Some low and highlights:
Emerson - he is an older black gentleman, well, older for the trade, probably in his mid thirties. he is bald, hairy and very muscular. I remembered him from a few years ago as a particularly good experience and was at first happy to see him again. I found out later the other gp's gave him the nickname "chiclete" (chewing gum) because he tends to stick to customers. boy is that accurate! after an OK programa where he topped and did lots of other great stuff, I could not shake him. first he wanted to stay in the cabin, then he wanted to stay at my table, I thought perhaps to eat so offered him something, he said no thank you. he kept pushing the idea of gong back upstairs with a third guy. Flavio - this was the guy that Emerson recommended. a tall, beefy European guy with lots of tattoos and a haircut about ten years too young for him. still, he was pleasant, a good conversationalist and rather good looking in a dilf way. the programa was not great. though tender and attentive, he also turned out oddly needy. he insisted he wanted to be memorable, that I didn't like him, why wouldn't I let him top... I had actually asked for a slow lengthy programa with massage and sex as an option. because it was longer than usual, at least in theory, I agreed to a price of R$150. when I paid, after cutting the thing short, we had an unpleasant exchange where he insisted we agreed on R$200. In the end I paid. I was embarrassed by the discussion within earshot of everyone. I think the guys that want to pull this scam count on this. in perhaps the worst insult of the trip, he then hands me a piece of paper with his number.
Gabriel - a few days later I was back and met this very young garoto flashing a Maglite sized wand. it only goes to prove that your best bet is to enjoy the moment and whatever happens to be in season on the days you visit Brazil. I too was hoping to meet the famous surfer this trip to Brazil but with only a couple days left, he has not surfaced. That said, there has been lots of other great fun. I did not take pictures but will report later tonight in a separate thread.

I'm a big fan of BH. The sauna is big, lots of great guys and some of my most memorable sessions in brasil were in olimpo. I tried one other sauna many years ago but didn't like it and felt no need to return. In terms of things to do, I tended to go out of the city when I could. There are a few landmarks in the city proper but my favorite day trips were to ouro preto, tiradentes, inhotim (a strange modern park dotted throughout with art installations and sculptures). There are also a lot of cachaceras to visit in the area. Do a trip advisor search and you'll find what's hot now.
It helps to have a car and driver, or at least a car and gps. I know of a guy, not an escort, who might be interested. PM me if you might need something like this. I can see if he can do it.
