    Sunday.
Eye candy at Ipanema. Disappointing. Not so many hunks when I went (around 1 pm). Maybe better in the afternoon. Tide is high so beach is significantly reduced.
Former Pointe massagist comes to appartment. Excellent massage with great fucking session.
No need of going to club after such a session !
Bossa Nova instead in the mythic Boca das Garrafas (rue Duvivier). Little Bar and Bottles bar are two places in the same street where you can hear good Bossa Nova. Bottles bar was having Bossa Jazz. Great music. (No strippers lol).

PopeFrancis reacted to CaliPexx in "Massive Increase of HIV Cases in Brazil in Young People"
An interesting report about HIV among Brazilian men who have sex with men (MSM) appeared in June 2018 in Folha de São Paulo about a paper that had just been published in a peer-reviewed medical journal, International Medicine. The study included 4,176 MSM from all social strata and age brackets in 11 Brazilian capitals. Each participant had two interviews and HIV tests and half of the participants reported that this was the first HIV test they had ever received. 83.1% of the considered themselves gay, 12.9% heterosexual or bisexual and 4% "others". Of the total, 75% were having sex only with men.
3,958 of the participants agreed to be tested and, taking all of the participants in the Brazilian cities as an aggregate, 18.4% were HIV-positive compared to 12.1% in a study set up in the same way in 2009. Of all of the Brazilian capitals in the study, São Paulo ranked first, with 1 in 4 MSM HIV-positive. Rio de Janeiro had an HIV-infection rate near the middle of the pack at 15.3%. Among MSM 15-19 years old, the rate of HIV infection had tripled since 2009, going from 2.4 to 6.7 per 100K inhabitants. Among MSM age 20-24, the rate had doubled from 15.9 to 33.1 cases per 100K inhabitants.
The authors wrote that Brazilian MSM are experiencing a "second wave" of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The factors they hypothesized for this increase included:
The reduction of HIV prevention campaigns in Brazil related to the economic crisis. The anti-sexuality instruction in schools movement of the Brazilian extreme-right [and this was even before Jair Bolsonaro became president and, as one of his first policies in office, acted to remove sex and diversity education in Brazilian schools]. The rise of social media, giving MSM the ability to have many more sexual encounters. The fact that young MSM don't remember what the worst years of the AIDS epidemic were like and never met anyone seriously ill with complications of HIV/AIDS. The [false] notion that HIV has been cured by current medications, losing the fear of death has led to a "relaxation of preventive measures". They provide this telling quote: "Young [Brazilian] men think of themselves as supermen, who'll never get sick, and so they don't seek out health care services."

You are a bright guy and probably nice on top of that.
However, your writing is unnecessarily difficult to read.
By way of example in the first paragraph of your post that I quoted above YOU HAVE 64 WORDS in the first paragraph.
Not even a textbook would contain 64 words in a paragraph.
If you want most others to understand your input, you should shorten your paragraphs by not including several different subjects and thoughts.   Sixty-four words in a casual paragraph are unreasonable.
Please do not feel offended by my observation and suggestion.
If you want people to understand your posts, you should break each thought and/or subject into a separate paragraph.

    Sunday morning
I was willing to see sunday service in a brasilian church as seen on the tv, where people, supposedly cured from cancer or from skin diseases, thanks to God, are invited to come on stage to testify.
Igreja do Reino de Deus or Igreja Adventista do 7 dia, or Messianic world Brazil Church. I was sure that the Church in Copacabana which is close to restaurant Corujinha (a well known pick up place for boys in the past), was one of them. I was disappointed to realize that it was a catholic church. I like the choirs when many people sing together and was not disappointed by this aspect though. Everything is very similar to what happens in Europe, as far as I know. One difference though,  is that the Priest makes regularly jokes which make all people laugh.
Finally, seeing a man dressed in a flashy purple dress like a woman and making jokes, reminds me the sauna shows ... Time to leave for a long stroll along the beach.

    Friday. 117
Incredibly packed for a friday. Many boys, many customers, good show, good stripper (Rodrigo Vilella).
V is my choice. He joined me in 117. I like his body and manly face. Great smile. Easy going. V is bi, normally top but accepts bottoming. I love fucking his tight little hole. It is a little hard to penetrate (for me) and a little painful (for him) but it is clear that he enjoys it. In the de quatro position (on all four), also called cachorrinho (little dog or levrette as they call it in French), he turns his head to see me fucking him in the mirror. Great deep kisser.
I also like the frango assado position since I can see his face and kiss him, while still inside him.
I was asked about this term "frango assado" (chicken in the oven). Let me put a picture to illustrate :

PS : the bacon is NOT needed for the position.
After 117 we go with D. and friends to have dinner and drink around Arcos da Lapa

Anyone knows if there is a gay sauna in João Pessoa with working boys?  Smaller city than our usual destinations, but I am asking for a friend who is going there for business in just 10 days, so just so you know,  quick responses will be much more useful than late ones.
Parahyba and Solar de poente: their websites and reviews do not talk about GPs.

    Hi guys.
I am Brazilian, but I have never been to the Saunas #shame.
One thing that people discuss in our blogs/sites is that many garotos now prefer to use the websites/apps, it could explain the sensation of less boys at the Saunas.
Bolsonaro is a tragedy, but i think it is too soon to blame him for the frequency at the saunas.

Just spent a few hours here!  My first trip to Barcelona and what a wonderful time I had.   I hooked up with two porn star quality guys.  €50 is still the going rate for a session but obviously no orgasm from them.   I tipped some on top for excellent treatment.   My first guy was from Egypt and he could be Nyle DiMarco’s twin brother.   His cock was almost too thick to handle.   Very dominant and assertive and kind.   A quick smile which I love.    My second encounter was a white guy from Greece.  Tall and a touch lanky.  He could easily be hired by bel ami studios.   And the most delicious cock.   Another kind man.    I went on Friday night around 6 and left around 8:30.  I would say about 20 or so escorts. Maybe more.  And nearly that many customers.   Sauna was clean and fairly large.   I can’t remember the price I paid to enter as I was too excited.    Lots of exposed hard cocks.   Lots and lots of sexy guys from all over.   I’ll head back tomorrow and meet up with a few of the sexy African guys there.

Unfortunately the foreign exchange rate will entirely depend on your American bank (or Argentinian bank), not on the ATM.
The withdrawal fee (like the 2 dollars fixed fee that some ATM will charge you just for withdrawing any amount) will exist or not, depending on the relationship between your bank and the ATM owner.
For example in Brazil i withdraw for free in Bradesco since it has a relationship with Hsbc which is one of my banks. But if I go anywhere else than Bradesco, they charge me the withdrawal fee.
Never been to Salvador, so not sure about the availability of specific ATMs, but google maps are very good at locating them. If you check with your bank in the US, whether they have any special agreement with any Brazilian banks, and then google map for that bank’s ATM, you may be able to figure out what to do.
Buying currency at a “cambio” kiosk, either in the US, at the airport, or in a Brazilian city, you should expect to loose about 5% of your money (they use punitive exchange rates bc they have to pay a trustworthy human to handle the transaction, they have to securely store various amounts of banknotes from many countries etc,) Withdrawing from an ATM, you should expect to loose less than 1.5% of your money’s value, because everything is automated. No salaries to pay. And it is a single currency storage, which already exists because the ATM already exists to serve the locals.
(if you have a withdrawal fee, always withdraw the maximum amount to lower the impact, a $2 fee on $40 withdrawal is 5 %, but $2 on $500 is only 0.4%).
That is how it works for me, others might have had different experiences.
Ps: Some US and UK banks have credit cards with no international payment fees too, these can be good value if you can get one, to pay your sauna entrances, restaurants and hotel bills.

PopeFrancis reacted to Tartegogo in Rio hotels: organised by guest policy
I am asking you all that have used hotels in Rio to contribute here if you have just 5 minutes.
I found that it is very hard from a hotel website to figure out what their guest policy is, in Rio, short of asking every single hotel that you are interested in.
To save time to everyone, we should maintain a list of known hotels and put them in one of 4 categories based on their guest policy.
I know now many of you will say ”just get an Airbnb” but no, I want my bed to be made, my towels changed, etc, etc.

I will I’ll start by putting  my own short list into these 4 categories.

    1. Policy: anyone allowed, and no id checks (this category I assume will be love-hotels only)
    - Lido Hotel, R. Ronald de Carvalho, 190 - Copacabana
    2. Policy: guests allowed with registration and no fee
    - ???
    3. Policy: guests allowed with registration at a small fee
    - South American Copacabana Hotel, R. Francisco Sá, 90 - Copacabana
    4. Policy: no guests allowed, only those individuals registered at check-in time.
    - Arena Leme hotel, Av. Atlântica, 324 - Leme
    - Arena Copacabana Hotel, Av. Atlântica, 2064 - Copacabana

If you let us know the name of the hotel you have stayed and whether you put it in categories 1, 2, 3, or 4 (based on your experience of trying to bring in a guest), I will consolidate the list.

Spent most if the day with Junior. He is an Engineer liking coroas. I am in contact with him since 2016. We never managed to meet but had some fun on skype. We agreed in meeting at the beach around noon, to check that we were both willing to go further and eventually have some fun in my hotel. So we met, agreed and were soon French kissing in my hotel room. Junior loves deep tongue kissing. So do I. Shower together was long and nasty. Bed session was long and hot. We finished around 4 pm with balls totally empty, exhausted and starving. Lunch to recover. Sleep to fully recover before going to Pointe 202 to meet Tomcal and other boys ...

Brazilians were left with no choice in this election... Bolsonaro made a great use of social media for many years to create a network of supporters to propagate his ideas of anti-socialism and fight against crime and corruption (popular with the low middle classes) alongside with a racial and gender hate speech that echoed within the conservative sectors of society who were feeling threatened by the ascending “C classes”... he appealed to the poor and the rich that way. Haddad on the other side, member of a great criminal organization, that is the PT (partido dos trabalhadores) manipulated the election helding Lula (almost a mythical figure here) as the candidate until almost the first turn of the election and now in basking on the fear about the hate speech of Bolsonaro, claiming people to unite to “defend democracy”. Little is know that PT had the chance to support the third place candidate Ciro Gomes as he was the left wing politician with more chances of winning the election and avoid this polarization and risk a neofascist politician like Bolsonaro win the election, but preferred to risk everything for power.

PopeFrancis reacted to likeohmygod in The dangers of using the "second brain"
I want to tell you about an unpleasant episode which happened to me a couple of weeks ago in Sao Paulo.
I live in Brazil since the beginning of this year, I am not a newbie and I did never have a problem with garotos (from saunas, and from the web).
The thing is that depending on who you are, and how horny you are, in some circumstances the "second brain" can replace the main one and let you do mistakes that can be quite expensive. So I was in SP, during a slow day to go for Lagoa, so I did my search on Grindr and I have found the sexy guy I was needing for. Since my apartment was so messy it looked like a bomb exploded in it, I decided to go to his place (100 mt from my apartment). Now, this is already something you must not do, it's not safe. But I was in SP, I have never had a problem even when going to GP's apartments, and I am a fluent portuguese speaker. Rate set, ready, go. To lower the risks, I always bring with me the GP's tariff + 20/50 reais just in case, plus a credit card (which is a card where I can set a spending limit whenever I want, using the smartphone app).
The guy was good, as in the pictures, good sex. Not the best, but still good. So what happened? At the moment of paying (here's another mistake i will explain you later), after taking a shower I realized I was missing a 100 reais note. At the beginning I started to think that it must have fallen out somehow. The guy was helping me to look for it inside the apartment. Then I have realized how stupid was the thing I was doing and how good was the acting of the guy. There was no chance that a 100R note could fall out of the wallet and out of my trousers by itself, and I did check the amount 3 times before leaving my home. So I was unable to pay the boy by cash, who pretended to look surprised by my words. Even if I do not show any sign of fear and I can speak some good portuguese, i am still a young 70 Kg, tall and untrained european white guy; so there was no reason to get beaten down by a 90Kg tall muscular moreno latin guy inside his home, by letting him notice that I was missing 100 Reais because he actually took that note from my wallet when i wasn't looking. So in the end he took out his credit card terminal and I paid him the difference (plus 50 reais to cover the "transaction fees").
In the end the damage has been very small, but what would have happened if at my place there was a guy who easily gets scared and axious, and that doesn't speak portuguese? What would have happened if this guy wasn't alone and was looking to steal more than 100R?
The truth is that this is my first bad experience (well in part, cause sex was good haha) out of hundreds...but shit can happen, especially if as you do the mistakes I did:
Do not go to a GP's apartment unless you already know him well and you know what you're doing....you don't know what can happen in there. If going to a GP's apartment, pay in advance. Some people believe that paying later will convince the GP to perform better. The thing is that it's bullshit since the GP perfectly knows that you're in a hostile environment and that in any case you will pay him to don't have problems...willing or not. If I did pay before having sex, I wouldn't be writing this thread now, since the wallet would have been with nearly nothing to steal inside. Do not shower in a GP's apartment...this is the most stupid thing I did. The guy opened my pockets and took one of my 100R note while I was under the shower. Be wise, and don't let your cock or ass, take control over brain.
