  1. I will say that Manhattans has the best Steak in Pattaya. It was a wonderful dining experience. The place is well designed and elegant from top to bottom. As Pattaya is known for catering to you bottoms, most of you will enjoy it. jk The guys who designed it really did go the extra mile and if you have not tried it, you need to give it a shot. I have eaten there 5 times and every meal was perfect.
  2. Perhaps we need to include you in the dinner than. We would then have a Big Fart quorum.

  4. GayButton reminds me of my first Constitutional Law professor in law school. It was my first year and my first day of class. In law school, assignments are posted in advance and we had to be prepared to discuss the case law on the first day. When we got to class, we were treated to a distinguished gentleman who had a handsome look and a bow tie adorned his suit. He walked over to the podium, opens up his book, read a name from the roster and grilled the girl for 30 minutes over the case. She was in tears. I was sitting on the edge of my seat praying I did not get called on. The entire semester was tough. He was a perfectionist and it was the one class that everyone was overly prepared for but yet never ready for his questions. Halfway through the term, there was an auction to benefit charity. One of the auctions was a gourmet home cooked meal by this professor. My study group were all full-time workers and older than the majority of our classmates. We knew we had the advantage and would win the auction., I think we paid over 1500 USD for the dinner for 4. It was well worth the price we paid. When we arrived at his home, it was a joy to see everything. He had traveled extensively throughout the world. The home was a large estate and both he and his wife were major legal whizzes. The home had more art than I had seen in many museums. The place was amazing. He greeted us in a shirt that was not a suit. It was the first time we had seen him without the bow tie on and in a relaxed mood. He had a great sense of humor and he and his wife were so much fun as they served us our 7 course French dinner. I became friends with him and took all of his classes I could. After law school, we kept in touch and even met a few times for fun. I learned that his role in the classroom was precisely that. It was his role and something he took very seriously. GayButton is the same. When he did his own website, he had a role. Part of that included protecting himself against libel suites and other legal issues. Now that he is moderator, he can take the suit off and relax a bit. I have known him for a long time. I find him witty and funny and serious all at the same time. For those who only know the online persona, remember that he has a role to play here as well. His role as moderator is to protect this site. He is able to take his bow tie off but he still has a job to do. Unfortunately, he often gets the brunt of the criticism, as he is the one who often makes public the decisions made by the moderators as a group. Get to know him and you will enjoy him.
  5. Thanks for sharing. I love it when things work out so well for everyone. I have a boyfriend now that I totally trust. He has the ATM and he takes care of things as well. He never has asked me for anything big. His birthday was 2 days ago. He turned 23. I have known him for 3 years but only as the best friend of my ex. He moved in with me 3 months ago. He had taken great care of me for the last 3 years and that friendship turned into something different. He is allowed to take a certain amount from the ATM and put in his account weekly but he has never gone above that. He has never asked for more or a special gift. Many times over the past 3 months he says thank you. He is so appreciative of everything I do for him and of the life he now leads. I normally don't give special gifts for anyone's Birthday but for his I did. I woke him up at 11AM and gave him a piece of paper. On it was a clue to the next clue. There were about 10 clues all together. At the end, it led him to the mailbox. The last note said, "Look to your right, walk over and enjoy." He did and was in tears for minutes. He was jumping up and down and so happy. It is the first gift I have given to anyone that I felt really appreciated it. I think the friendship I had with him for over 3 years was the key to the success. On top of that, he has been totally honest and upfront with me. There are special boys here. I don't find them often as I often look in the wrong places. But, they are here and when you find one, it is amazing. I think it all really depends on the boy and what you want from him. I normally give a boy 20k plus each month if they have no other expenses. I find this makes the boy happy and allows him to take care of his family, etc. I have a few rules I place on a guy. One of them is never ask me for more money for family or emergencies. I don't take care of an entire family or a village. I will take care of my boyfriend and any expenses related to him. I pay for school and dentists and etc. I also take them shopping for clothes, etc. The 20-30K a month I give is totally for their own use and it really up to them. I know of many farangs who give the boy 10-15 and get the same results. I know of many farangs who do not want a money boy and ask the boy to work full-time and the farang only pays for expenses. It is really all up to what the 2 of you negotiate. I am always very clear up front and make sure both parties get what they want and are happy with the deal. Very good advice Pete! This also helps Sunee Plaza BTW. Why? The ones that spend more than they can afford end up as jumpers. If they jump off Yensabi, a whole slew of people go over from Sunee and watch. This affects business. JK Great advice! You always make me laugh. Thanks for the list. I reallly thought I was the only one that heard the house was flooded story.
  6. BARCELONA, THE DAUGHTER OF HERCULES The origins of Barcelona are encapsulated in a mist of legends, carried by many of its citizens to this day. According to local folklore, the city
  7. I actually had you pointed out to me once. While we were in the company of some very notorious gentlemen, we weren't able to chat much. But, I do promise that if I see you again I will treat you to a drink as well. Don't worry about confusing me with GayButton. I find it a compliment, as he is one of the sweetest men I know. Funny that you should metion the sexy guys with me and they were more handsome than LMTU's gaggle. I think he introduced me to more than a few of them.
  8. Here are some photos of Loy Krathong at Jomptien Beach. I am sorry they are not as good as last year's pics. Stef, our photographer is in Vegas. I took some pics for about 20 min and then I enjoyed the event myself. I hope you get a little idea of what fun the event is. I love watching the Thais with the fireworks. They seem to really love it.
  9. Actually, I didn't touch him and I still tipped him 100 baht. I declare that anyone with the name of Cialis get a life. With or without the aid of Cialis or Viagra.
  10. Thanks for the link. I read the thread with great amusement. Now I know what you mean by nutjobs. We have yet to make one penny off this website. No one pays us money for advertising. We are a commercial venture because we plan to make enough money one day to cover the cost of the server. However, we have now been here for one year. Have you seen us ask for any money? Requested any donations? I don't think so. We don
  11. I did. I has this beautiful Kratong made for me by a Katoy whose boyfriend is milking me dry (money wise that is). As for my wish, I wished that I were able to have a boyfriend who loved me for me and dreamed of me every moment. Nah. Just kidding. I wished for Niddy's Cheeseburger as I know that is something I can easily obtain. I also wished for LMTU's fast return to Thailand and that Hedda would be presented with a magic wand to show whom all the double, triple and quadruple posters are. I wished that all the Farangs that come here for high season would stay off of motorbikes as they almost ran into me 4 times last night on my way to float my kratong. Lastly, I wished that you and I would have a romantic dinner together as I know you have always had a thing for Frankenstein. A match made in Heaven (or Hell, depending on your outlook) .
  12. You are amazing. I am thrilled you enjoyed your evening. I had a great time too.
  13. If you are logged in and see your name on the top banner, simply hit the LogOut beside the name. If not, you may be logged out of the site but not the forums. In this case, log in again and do the step above.
  14. OK. I see the pic of the Niddy's cheesburger. For fair play, don't you have one of a Big Mac?
  15. I went to my first Visa run since the new regulations. It was a breeze. I was worried that there would be some problem but there was none. When I got back into Thailand, the guy simply marked my passport and my departure card with a number 1. This means this is my first of 3 entries allowed for the 90 days maximum. I didn
  16. I picked up the latest copy of Thai Puan today and read it at Papa David's in Jomptien. It is a very well written and enjoyable magazine. It has some great information and is full of ads and eye candy. They have all the latest info for the Pride rallies in Thailand. We are lucky to have 2 great gay magazines dedicated to Gay Thailand. Keep up the great work guys. http://www.thaipuan.com/
  17. Well, your departure left a void for the most controversial figure in Pattaya. That is why I NEED your return ASAP.
  18. I heard from a friend last night that some of the bars in Boyztown in Pattaya are starting to do sexy shows. The nights I have been out I have not seen anything but I am not out late. Does anyone know which bars are having the shows and the times?
  19. The new restaurant in Jomptien Complex is now open. I have not been in to try the food but it is top on my list. I was there 2 days ago as they were putting up some finishing touches on the place. To my delight, they have a manager that was one the best waitedrs at Luxor. He is the one guy in Pattaya I would marry and take away to America with me. If only he would be my bride. Anyway, the place looks absolutely amazing. It is well done and next-door to the Stone Grill. Has anyone tried this place? I would love to hear about it before I test it this week.
  20. These 2 bars are in Sunee and there is not a week that goes by that I don't eat at them at least one time. Both bars have excellent food at a reasonable price. This week I was at Clubber bar and asked for the Spagetti Bolognaise. I didn't know it was from the old menu and not a special for the night. The cook, a large German man, said no problem and he would fix it up for me. It was excellent and a very nice gesture. I have eaten at Po Pot for a long time and never had a bad meal there. Both places have hands on owners who are sharp and attentive. If in Sunee Plaza give them a try.
  21. This bar was once a lady bar. The owners sold out and a new group took over and made the place a gay haven. This bar has some of the sexiest guys in Pattaya. The show is a lot of fun and the guys that work the places are handsome. My only complaint is that often at Showtime, there is no room for seats. I wish they would find a new bar location that would accommodate the size. They have a great thing going and I would love to see them in a larger place where they could shine more.
  22. The former owner of Kaos sold the place and moved over to Sundance. The new place is about half the size of his former bar. With the move, the bar seemed to go downhill. Many of the guys left and there were often few customers. The past 2 nights, the bar was flooded with guys. Last night, before opening the bar, I saw at least 20 sexy guys out front and all waiting to go inside to work. I still say that Sundance has the sexiest doormen in Pattaya. They are simply stunning. The mamasan Bo is divine and the guys are all friendly and cordial. I have been told that after the holiday tonight, they will be adding many new faces next week. Looking forward to this bar shining again.
  23. LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Neil Patrick Harris is gay and wants to quell any rumors to the contrary. "(I) am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest," Harris tells People magazine's Web site. The 33-year-old actor said he was motivated to disclose his sexuality because of recent "speculation and interest in my private life and relationships." Harris stars on the CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother." He started on TV as a teen, playing the namesake doctor on the series "Doogie Howser, M.D." http://edition.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/11/04/...e.ap/index.html
  24. You could hear the fireworks last night. They will be even louder tonight. If you haven't got a ticket yet, get to the beach to buy one. It is a great evening for all!
