  1. Yes I do as it happens GT. California WOW will ask for around 1,500 part per session. However everything is negotiable. You can now get life membership for about 8,500 Baht with an additional 3,000 Baht being payable after 3 years. 100 hours training can be got for around 350 Baht per hour. Be prepared , however, for 100 hours of hard sell to buy protein and other elixirs. Tony's life membership is 4,999 I think and possibly negotiable. The trainers fee is 500 baht per hour but u can negotiate with a trainer and sign up with him for 20 hours and he will train you for 30. He will be happy as he has to get people to sign up or lose his job. Yes, payless is a good description of me but I do not exploit Thais I work the system with them. I still think GT you are a braggart. No Stef I am neither envious or jealous. I am still young compared to most people here and am in a well paid job. I am also in a very stable relationship. You can call me stupid as we are both monogamous (i think) lol
  2. You underwrite the board so up to you.
  3. Pay him less. Do we really need to hear about your sex life? Just stick to posts about how much you spend on your boys etc. So much more interesting to read about how the wealthy live rather than their sordid sex lives.
  4. A Deed Poll is a legal document - not a certificate. It is a form of legal contract but it differs from legal contracts between two or more parties in that it only concerns one person (and it is only signed by that person). A Deed Poll therefore binds the person who signs it to a particular course of action as detailed on the Deed Poll document. Although Deed Polls are used for various purposes relating to an individual legally committing themselves to doing something, they have one generally accepted meaning, that is, a change of name. However, the correct legal name for a deed that has been drawn up to change someone's name is a Deed of Change of Name. http://www.ukdps.co.uk/WhatIsADeedPoll.html
  5. It does not prove any such thing. Even if it were true then unless they were child predators they would not have been caught hook line and sinker as they would not have gone for the bait in the first place. From http://www.dailyxpress.net/2008/05/20/crime/crime_2299.php Unfortunately it is not too difficult to get round a blacklisting and I am aware of one guy who has returned after blacklisting. He changed his name by deed poll and received a new passport and is now living back in Pattaya. He was blacklisted for making porn movies and selling them on the net.
  6. The manager was Jens, and was not a partner nor did he have a financial interest apart from his salary. He made his exit at almost the same time as the staff changes at Manhattan. I think similarly 2 staff who would have featured on any gaydar left at the same time. For those who frequent Gay-Romeo Jens is often on there and is blonde and German in origin. He is about 28 years old. Now do you remember him?
  7. There are many Thai guys around your age who are not money boys (prostitutes). I don't understand why you think they are. Of course if you are a middle-aged man looking for guys a generation younger than you then why should you not pay. After all they are looking for a sugar daddy and you are old enough to be their daddy. In Pattaya as suggested try Romeo, or fitness centres and eye up a few of the older security guards or even older motor bike taxi drivers.
  8. Used to be a restaurant near the top of my list until the owners decided it was attracting to many gays. Hence they sacked the gay manager and 2 of the gay waiters. It does not feature on my list now. I think the prices have risen and I have heard it mentioned that it is no longer particularly good value for money.
  9. It is called low season and happens every year around this time. Chiang Mai and Bangkok also experience a low season. Every year the bar owners say this is the worst low season they have experienced. Maybe it is a year on year decline or maybe not. Some of the bars that are empty still look and offer the same as they did 5 or 10 years ago, even the boys and the music are the same. A well run bar, with polite and well controlled boys, a clean, maintained and comfortable environment will always do well. A bar with no dubiety about the age of the boys and a bar that has set standards for the behaviour of the boys whether they are on the payroll or freelancers will attract the valued customer. That is why Come-in and Oud's bar are popular. That is why Boyz Town Bars are generally popular. The sex show bars of Sunee rely on the most part on boys who are educated to a very low level and have low esteem. Boys who behave like sheep, thus Sunee sees gang fights from these barworkers. Many boys will be immature and even under-age. I don't know what type of cutomer they attract but not enough to sustain most of them over the long-term.
  10. (Edited by Admin) luvthai, the kids are in Sunee because there is a demand. If the peds leave or get arrested and deported then there will be less demand and Thailand will be a better place. I think pattayamale is paranoid about cameras but I wish there was some truth in it and the police would use them as evidence.
  11. Many of these hotel upgrade programs are great until it comes to high season. Amari, Marriott and Central to name 3 nearly always say they are full when you try to book using the cards discounts in busy periods. I have just attempted to book for January 2009 and told by all 3 that they are booked out unless I pay full price. This has happened too regularly that I will not bother with these cards in future. You can often haggle an upgrade in low season anyway.
  12. I can't believe you are correct. He would be too old to work at Look Bar or maybe he is lying about his age. Just as an aside, it amuses me a little when you see guys over 40 or 50 or whatever age trawling for young Thai guys and writing in their profile 'no money boys'. Are not many older guys here 'cos they can't form a relationship or afford sex in their own country?
  13. There have been no observations of Ostriches putting their heads in the sand. A common counterargument is that a species that displayed this behaviour would not survive very long.
  14. That was my point, though not well stated. Cherry's is not in a great location except for those who drive cars. It is away from the tourist route, does not have a lot of passing trade but the price is right the food and the service are also good. Maybe Symphony got some or all of these attributes wrong. I can only guess as I never went there and it has failed. I think if the restaurant is good, people will make the effort to get there. As I wrote earlier, where do people park their cars when visiting Boyz Town?
  15. I never ate at Symphony Restaurant but it has one of the better locations in Pattaya. A place with very high footfall, on the baht bus route and slap bang in the middle of tourist Pattaya, though parking is restricted. Then parking is also difficult in Pattayaland and boyz Town but many people go there. Cherry's Restaurant on 3rd. Road is in a bad location but very popular. The old Bruno's located in N Pattaya was in a bad location for gay venues but still gays went there. Mata Hari has almost no people walking past and on some criteria is in a bad location but is popular. I suspect the failure of Symphony is that the location has little to do with it. It is that either the food, service, price or ambience (no pun intended) were not good enough to make the effort to go there. Location probably did contribute to its downfall but surely it is not a 'gays only restaurant'! GB wrote . A gay massage place has existed on and off in this location and was called something like 'Zeemen' and previous to that 'Door'. I don't think they were successful but the target market was Asian tourists. I did go once when it was Door and it was very seedy/grubby and overpriced for a place with grubs. The mamasang was called LG and I think he used to work in Studio Boys in Day Night many years ago. I suspect it will be him again at Stronger Boy.
  16. Apart from your case Rainwalker , where U took the time to interact, can we be sure that all these farang throwing water are drunk? I am pretty sure as I drive past on my motorcy. I see some that are sober. Depends how drunk i am i guess.
  17. Where in Thailand is Burma? Can anybody give info about vacationing in Haiiti please?
  18. Duh, dapitt, I think I already explained that I was reacting to hyperbole. Does your hat have a big 'D' on it?
  19. since you asked - 2 years and 6 months ago. I was just reacting to your pure hyperbole. and I have not been to Birdcage either. Why don't you just report as you find rather than compare to another bar in a negative way.
  20. Great I will go there next St Patrick's day. Glad to hear they can put a good show on once a year as they fail to do so on for the rest of the year.
  21. Your goods went as a part load of a container. You did not pay for a full container, the price would have been considerably more even way back when. Currently a 20' container to the USA port to port would be about 5000 US.
  22. They are the language mafia! I think these are not Mafia just money lenders who lend small amounts of money at 20% interest per month and inevitably the boys cannot pay either the interest or the capital back and the small loan becomes a big loan. Generally moneylenders are not organised gang or Mafia types but individuals. Money lending is a major industry in Thailand and many teachers and factory workers et al use their services to buy the big ticket items or to pay off other creditors and to meet the unexpected medical bills. Some boys with sugar-daddy farangs become money lenders and that is typically the money lender type in Sunee Plaza.
  23. What are you talking about? The only so called Mafia in Pattaya associated with the gay scene is the Police in their various forms. There is no other Mafia. If you think there is tell us what this Mafia does and how it does it? I have no knowledge of Bangkok apart from it being a city near the airport. You are probably right in that the police are hassling just to get money. After all if the fines are legit the policeman can legally pocket 60% as his lawful share. If not legit they of course keep 100%. Please tell us about this Mafia here in Pattaya and through out Thailand. Do they speak Thai with Sicilian accents?
  24. Missing thread, did someone get the the needle? I note that the thread congratulating Gaybutton on his magnificent number of posts has disappeared. I just wondered if it has been moved or deleted. Where to and why?
