You can use almost the exact same arguments for not taking prostitutes in Thailand. Most of them work in bars which operate illegally as prostitution is against the law. In my mind a cruising spot is a place where you can seek out sex with like minded guys and money is not an issue. Let's keep this in perspective buaseng. KLIA is a small regional airport compared to Suvarnabhumi and Singapore airports if the information on wikipedia is anything to go by. In your personal experience rather than heresay what difficulties have you actually encountered when using Suvarnabhumi? I use it monthly and apart from one time out of about 14 usages I have no bad experiences to report.

If you are a Thai boy the best rates are found at http://gold.yabz.com/ For baht there are on-shore rates and off-shore rates, hence the rates received in New York or London for example are about 10% lower than rates found in Thailand when buying Bahts. Credit Cards generally use a New York rate I believe and so the rate is worse by a few % than using cash in Thailand.

A minor point but you in fact had two minor points ....

Insurance on imported items. You are likely to find it difficult to insure your imported goods once they are here. Both Thai and International Insurers operating here will not insure art and sculptures etc. When making a claim for furniture, white gods etc. the original receipts need to be provided and these have to be in Thai baht. So whatever you do bring in will be uninsurable against thft and boy-friend damage. On the up-side Thais usually only steal gold and money and other easily disposable items not furniture and works of art.
