But, I see that overnight Steven Draker has been banned. I haven't seen any reason for that. His intentions seemed to be good, and he has a history of posting interesting topics here. Whats more, he is/was the only escort actively posting here. Granted, he said some provocative things, and I did not always agree with him. But the only escort posting here gets banned. Does that send any signal to other escorts who might have hoped to post? Was there no other recourse? This site claims to have a tolerance for posters, and an esteemed poster who also escorts, who also posts frequently, would seem to be someone worth saving. Not many people get attacked as Steven did. That he might say something wrong in those circumstances seems to be expected. However, I do now feel that he does not wish to participate after than ban was to be lifted and that is OK with me too. Members may use the above link to ban those that the admin do not feel rise to the level of them taking action on their own. It was also made clear that when an Admin feels someone rises to that level they will go without discussion. Agree or disagree. That is life. And, life goes on. Makes no difference if he was the only escort in the fucking World. You cause trouble and bad mouth the site, you GO.... Lucky, even YOU know Draker came here a week ago because he had nowhere else to Play, and he came with an agenda, which he quickly put into motion. Members JKane Posted August 11, 2014 Members Share Posted August 11, 2014 Personally I'm sorry to see the only known escort to be participating in the forums given a time out, but on the other hand it's hard to argue that most of his posts in the last week have contributed anything positive to the forums... though it did make me check in more often. But people go in cycles and a time out is probably the best way to deal with the low points we all have. I hope he does eventually come back and provides some enlightening and entertaining content in the future. Part of me would really like to see more escort participation, but I'm not sure there's much good in it for them. We can be a cunty bunch and if they're cunty back it can impact a great many lurkers' impressions. If they upset a client, they can either kiss and make up or take their money and run. Here they can upset a whole board with a few printed words and do not get paid regardless. What is their upside? But even those escorts that were masters of charm and wit seemed to find themselves stalked by people who seemed to loathe them with every fiber of their being, remembered their every word and made sure nobody forgot if there was ever any contradiction. And then the escort(s) I'm thinking of had very public crash and burns (which of course the stalkers reveled in). Lose/lose, I agree. Even though my hiring is usually for an hour or two, and usually based on physical attributes, there have been a few escorts I've hired based in part on their comments on the Board. I'm not looking for a 'boyfriend experience', but someone who seems like a really nice person can definitely move me to pick up the phone and make a call. Conversely, there have been a couple of times when I've thought about hiring someone and was turned off by unpleasant posts. So, from a purely business standpoint, I think it can go either way. If I were a moody escort, I'd make a note not to post when I was in a bad mood. If I were a personable escort, I'd be more inclined to post but, even then, things can take an unexpected turn. But I also think there are other than business reasons for an escort to post here. Venting, getting info, offering tips, having fun, sharing experiences, all the things that all other posters enjoy, escorts may also enjoy. Why shouldn't escorts be made to feel welcome on the Board, as long as they are also welcoming?
