Sincere question Dominican Republic or Colombia?

I see here that these two countries have a lot of gifted people and are relatively cheap, as a Brazilian I know that Brazil offers more facilities for sex with the saunas in big cities like São Paulo, Rio or Salvador, but between these two countries which ones do you have the most? Experienced people prefer and why?

Would Argentina be a good destination?

As a Brazilian wouldn't you be in a better position to provide insight on Brazil and what it offers so that it may be comparable to either Colombia or DR?

Not doubts really just interested in getting insight from a local Brazilian gentleman on what makes Brazil a unique destination, in S America, for visiting tourists who wish to meet men there. All things being equal do you think that Brazil would offer a good starting point for visitors who never visited S America before?

However, Brazil is a continental country and changes a lot depending on each region, I recommend starting with São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro as the cultural impact is smaller as they are two large cities that receive thousands of tourists per year.

Thank you for your insight. What advice would you give potential tourists on how to maintain personal safety? Any tips perhaps on what to wear, carry on or where in theses 2 cities to go and/or avoid?

Avoid showing off your belongings in public, avoid going to communities (favelas) alone, be careful with your belongings in tourist places, in the northeast (Salvador, Fortaleza, Recife) it is hot all year round, so bring light clothing if you are going to the southeast or south of the country (São Paulo, Rio, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Florianópolis) depending on the time of year it can get quite cold, from the end of May to August the weather gets cold in these regions, so you may need a coat.

Take the opportunity to get to know the regional culture of each state and also the local cuisine, which is delicious, especially that of Bahia and Minas Gerais. You can find typical restaurants in all regions, Uber, Ifood are apps that have made your life easier here too.

I have not been to the Dominican Republic but I have been twice to Colombia and Brazil at least 5 times. So all I can compare is Colombia versus Brazil.

Colombia: People are less warm and inviting and that makes it harder to find guys randomly like you do in Brazil. When you do find guys or go to the sex spots you will realize that the guys on average are shorter, less buff, and less endowed(gifted) than the guys in Brazil. The best gay city in Colombia is Bogota due to Theatron and Gigolo Erotic House and other venues. Plus Bogota has a whole gay area similar to Republica in Sao Paulo.

Depends a lot if you want free Grindr boys or GPs. In terms of free boys, Colombia offers more diversity and many Venezuelans are available too. Don’t even both with free Dominicans, as most grindr-like apps are location based, those who live in affluent neighborhoods (ex close to blue mall) are all fat and old. If you choose to pay, then again, Colombia offers more diversity but GPs in DR are better endowed.

I had a different reaction about Colombia. I found the people there to be very warm and "gay" in the old meaning of the term: waitresses were literally singing as they brought my food out. People were making so much eye contact on the streets, on the buses, etc., that it was getting confusing. I had to remind myself that they are just friendly tropical people and no come-on was intended.

The DR is a much smaller country than the other two so the men are more limited in availability (no saunas with 20-30 garotos) and variety (almost exclusively caramel, moreno, or black). But the few men in this small country have HUGE things between their legs. If you leave the DR without bagging at least a couple 8-inchers, ask for your money back.

I've had fun in both places - in Colombia, I went to Medellin, so I can't speak for other places. My Grindr never had so much action. I had more than 20 or more guys contacting me every day - sometimes taps, and often messages with photos. Some wanted money, others just wanted to meet. I was very selective because I was staying in an apartment with a door man and didn't want to look like a slut, so I had a few guys I saw more than once. One I paid, the other was free. Both were well-hung.

In the DR, in Santo Domingo, there are many ways to meet guys. I've used Grindr to meet guys for pay. I also enjoy Cine Lido, a very run down porno theater that is very hot, dirty and sweaty, but I always have a good time there for free. There are saunas in both places, but I have not been to them.

If you are looking to hire guys, I think both places are good destinations. The weather in Medellin is milder and it rains for a short time every day but it is more comfortable. In the DR, it's a great place to go if you want a tropical environment and want to sit by the pool or go to some of their beautiful beaches.

The Cine Lido and other porno theaters in Latin America used to be packed with 20-somethings, many of whom would let you take care of their urgent needs. I've stayed in the Zona Colonial, not upscale suburbs, and I had pretty good luck with free grindr guys (a majority are free, but there are also a substantial percentage who are charging.) Neither old nor fat. Even one of the hotel receptionists, quite handsome, though regrettably short, saw me on grindr and stopped by unannounced to fuck. (A pleasant surprise that has never happened to me anywhere else...) 

If you go in winter, the heat and humidity moderate and at least some days will be fairly comfortable, even by my heat-averse standards. It's really the paid guys that lag behind Brazil, I would say, in terms of body and face that make it worthwhile to stay on the plane that additional 6 hours. Whereas if you're all about cock, stop right there, there's no need to continue farther south...

@Canadianbtmguy, I've never been to colombia, but I do know that dick is plentiful in the DR. from what I'm reading on a lot of the STRAIGHT FORUMS, Colombia is PRETTY DANGEROUS and it's much harder to find dick there.
