Last night another member on his last night in Thailand and me on my last night in Bangkok we're bit unsure what bar to hit between Goodboys and Atlas and settled on second one. It turned out to be very good idea as friendly vibe there hit us, right when we entered being enthusiastically greeted by their stuff. Even His Excellency The Boss, Arthur, came to our table extending handshake. Of course we were pestered for tips but it was good natured and I think I found the way of how to subtly deal with that when it will become bit tiring. Few persistent ones got 20 and two even more persistent got 1 baht coin each landed in their lowered undies. There at e disappointments but all was met with hearty laugh. Yes Arthur got his 20 baht too placed by standard issue of vinapu tuck ! And I got a feel in exchange. Show was short of most drastic, so to speak, part but one lady boy number was hilarious when she got quite undressed and summarized her performance with pointing her back cheeks at audience. Certainly no need to complain about buys being overdressed there and for you poor things twink lovers it was no less than 5 of bonafide twinks there. We both left happy and judging by the smiles left good impression on the boys.

Indeed I with another member visited Moonlight night before daydreamer. While his observations about guys being overdressed aligns with mine I did not say anything here in this respect for few reasons. First I don't really care as for me is more important WHO is dressed or undressed than HOW guys dressed. I understand members reservation about whole dressing thing, I just didn't share their concerns to extend they do. It' s always, smile I'm looking for first. Second, few boys including ones I really cared to do that like numbers 10 and 38 were barechested to all to admire. Again I agree that's minimalistic but it did not diminish my fun. Third, both me and another member who was with me there had enough fun to stay in bar long enough to be last customers that night. While all comments and concerns relating to bars future are well thought and interesting to read, on personal level my stronger concern is my own survival, not bar's. But it remains factor that something must be missing in Moonlight since bar was far from packed on neither of my both visits there this trip. Still if I was in transit and had time to visit just one bar it would be there.

A bit. Space boys are more hunky ( sigh !) and music level is more conductive to conversation. On another hand it seems it's easier to hook up with Dragon guys and they are, actually dancing.

Now we have what fought and hoped for. Take good with bad. I once had neighbours, gay couple, who were in abusive relationship and it was sense of relief when they moved out since building quieted down a lot.

I get it although it may not work as intended. On at least 2 occasions recently I changed my choice of bars to visit for the evening because of that.

I do too. It's not that bad, just bit of cough and running nose but certainly not appetizing so I spare boys my prolonged company until I feel better.

Not that he needs any recommendation. When I was, there with emiel in Nov both of us independently agreed that he IS the best looking guy there.

Some of them are nice but one of them has custom of leeching to me each time I enter bar, taking seat beside uninvited and trying to be helpful hoping for the tip. It is not really annoying but I find this a bit of imposing so cant say I'm thrilled. Being shy guy, looking like nobody I like to be left alone.

Next time don't forget to add some cyanide to the mix.

As for Patpong updates last night another member and me visited Moonlight, earlier having a drink on terrace of Banana club. While busy, for Saturday night soi 4 definitely used to be and can use to be busier. At one point shortly after 9 pm there was only one dinner on the Bangkok terrace. Granted, it lasted perhaps 10 minutes and before we moved to Moonlight terrace was full again. Entered Moonlight bit after 10. 00 PM and again it was, pretty empty although by time show, started it filled again. About 10 floor boys on display but we both agreed that all of them are offable material, in fact I think only 4 went home empty handed. We were last customers to leave just past 1.30. Boss was not part of models parades nor show but appeared in their Fri and Sat only boy, dancing at 1 am. Drinks 500, past midnight only 200,boy drink 450. I had 2boys sitting with me but did not off them as I felt and still feel a bit of crisis sick man, likely picked something somewhere in Chiang Rai. So I did not want them to pick up something from me at closer contact. Both boys got their customers that night, actually one of them as soon as I released him from my obnoxious company. So lesson is for all of us, in name of fairness to the boys, if you don't intend them to off tell them that right away and don't hold them too long. Otherwise bad karma may chase you.

I found it very pleasant and rewarding place to see. On top of places thaiophilus mentioned and illustrated above we ( that the gay part as I took boy from Bangkok with me) we visited Mae Sai on Myanmarese border with it's " northernmost part of Thailand" marker and sky walk on the border overlooking city of Thachileik on Myanmarese side. It used to be possible to cross border on temporary day pass but now this option is restricted only to citizens of those two countries sharing border. We visited another sky walk in the area south of city Chiang Saen high on mountain overlooking mighty Mekong. And of course, actually twice, Sok Ruap where brders of Myanmar, Laos and Thailand meet at confluence of Mekong and Ruak rivers. We even visited market on Lao side as it is possible to go there without the visa as part of river cruise. In short busy three full days plus two half days on arrival and departure, both middays. In reality I could use one day more there. By the way one cold reach head of that white goddess by elavator and marvel at views from there.

No. I'm sick , caught cold somewhere in Chiang Rai. Visited Moonlight with another member but did not off anybody We were last customers to leave bar though. Upon coming to the room, went straight to bed and slept till 11 straight , fortunately did not pee in the bed. As for air in Bangkok, noticeable hotter than week ago but I did not notice anything out of ordinary. It's always hard to breathe here because of humidity. So pack your things and come here

All calculations may change if bar is charging 3500 -4000 for the bottle. From what I heard from other people policy on bottles changes from bar to bar so its better to investigate with mamasans on the site keeping in mind all outlined above.

Or Saudi Arabia ? Contrary to what you may suspect I'm serious as I know somebody who was there ( young guy, not gay ) who was surprised at numer of frank proposals he received. Similar to Iran , supposed dry country and yet I got offer to buy moonshine on my first evening stroll there and it was on main street, not some shady alley. Got winked by lady of the night in broad daylight too. Bottom line , everywhere our eyes should be opened wide

I'm on my way there from.Chiang Rai and will update here in the evening. Unless of course I die from polution first or, more probably will find somebody to shield me from all that menace. Last weekend was manageable in my opinion and so was Chiang Rai which was hazy but far from poisonous. Certainly some of posts in politics forum here are more poisonous than air up north

Indeed it was me. I like way Raposa reported our meeting. There was no need to be tight lipped in this case but I think it's very decent not to report who is in Bangkok before amber I question himself a ounces it in some way. Sometimes there are reasons for discretion , sometimes just practicality like in my case as I was, there only 3 days and was partially tied with friend whom I met in the airport while lining at immigration. No, it has, nothing to do with strike of luck. Quite opposite, being friends doesn't eliminate need for keeping some stuff private. As for Boss he was both on Saturday at Hotmale and on Sunday at Moonlight so he is still firmly there.

On Sunday I decided to see what was left of Tawan so went to The One. Only few customers at 10 pm, me being only farang. It was obvious that a lot of Boyd did not move to Atlas and loyally stay put. Best looking guy was new, from Chiang Mai. Guys we're presenting themselves in red briefs, two at the time. It was, obvious thay could do with more customers and modernized stable of guys. Pleasant moment came when 2 guys appeared isaw, first time in Arena back in 2013. It was nice to see old friends but let's be realistic, at one point bar boys need to retire and make room for new blood. Then off to Moonlight, I was, surprised how, empty it was, perhoas 10 customers only and it was, show time! But models soldered on and actually I liked the show. Few goys tried to make an eye contact ans were rewarded with red notes front their trouble. Guy I was hoping to be there ha day off but I found so called suitable replacement. So far out of those 4 bars Hot Male wins for me. I liked boys, show (that little I caught while there ) and atmosphere was funniest too. Moonlight guys could do with more of what Atlas ones could do with less - trying to connect with customers more actively. One needs to be mentioned. My bit short of enthusiasm impressions for sure we're affected by massive jet lag caused not only by time difference but fact that my originating flight took off at 6 am and I landed at midnight so obviously bit interruption to sleep pattern bordering on senior's abuse unfortunately all self inflicted.
