what movie you are talking about? In Dec I spent 25 nights there and only ones without company were when two I chose not to have one

Thailand ranked one of 10 safest travel destinations
vinapu replied to reader's topic in The Beer Bar
I'd say 2 weeks is minimum although I twice took just 1 week trips and enjoyed both even with those 24 hrs flights each way. But wouldn't recommend it for first timers. Weather wise definitely Dec or Jan but as reader mentioned , Thailand is enjoyable in any weather due to abundance of willing consolators -
I saw similar family entourage in Classic in soi Twilight and left immediately as I think dragging children into this type of establishment is just asking for trouble for all involved , including spectators

I agree, for me Dreamboys and Jupiter are chief offenders in that field as for bar discussion, I don't think most of Thai bars if any , with guys on the stage are gay bars, they are boy bars thus there's possibility they attract boy admirers of either gender and that's exactly what happens. It may not be comfortable for some but those ladies in audience while at times annoying, keep those bars operational and well staffed. While discrimination is slippery slope indeed , unfortunately and fortunately is fact of life and at times necessary. Senior discounts, ladies nights, suppression of night time noise, pedestrian only zones all all part and parcel of it. I'm discriminated against even in my former primary school which I can't visit as only parent and guardians of children are allowed inside and even thea are prohibited from entry during class times. As for presence of ladies in bars while at times annoying , I don't mind, specially when I'm marching away with hunk of my choice while they hold their tears jealously at such waste of prime man material. I would not complain seeing boy bar with sign "ladies only" either. Let them have their fun. In fact in my city we used to have male bar where "only men escorted by ladies are (were) admitted ", practice ended on grounds of discrimination and now we don't have neither discrimination not that bar.

I stay many times in Classrooms ( on your recommendation by the way and thank you ) and never had problem with bar noise. I like their discreet entry to the side of bar. In Boyztown itself I prefer Copa to Ambiance if only because maze of corridors in the later is kind of scary. In Jomtien complex The Venue is good but there it may be problem with bar noise.

and on my first in November 2001

as for money changers XOne on Suriowong close to Amara hotel has in Dec rates rivalling those at airport basement. To Pattaya I recommend airport bus although it's less frequent than those from Ekkamai .

Activist writes about his sex life behind bars, gets put back in prison

military not , but narco cartels to a quite a degree , yes. I'd prefer Thailand if only due to a better security not to mention lower probability of getting Monezuma revenge -
that's the good news

more I read about cases like that , less respect for Thai political and justice system I have -
+1 no matter if they are from online (almost non-existent for me ) , from bars or massages I too take a point of escorting them to my room and also from hotel, when they are leaving. In my early days I had a case of companion from now no-existing Aqua Spa who when tried to retrieve his ID from reception was asked for 'donation' which I learned about only in the evening when I was taking him again.

so it looks thet Mr Sarawut took his commission

then perhaps best course is to stay home. In Thailand theft is not a problem, speaking from personal experience and yes 19 out 20 night I share my bed with stranger overnight when I sleep

Perth is great ! Can't wait for 2nd season of My Engineer to see how shy love between Ram and King develops
-
but closer to soi Pluk Chit and it's Sabaidee and Sanctuary by A massages
-
yes but on another hand percentage of boys who had their ID checked will be much , much lower
-
I must be less picky because in Decemeber only days when I left bar empty handed were those when I had other arrangements done already. And even I took cute twink from Dreamboys and to eternal shame on me I liked the experience. I agree about dress code (boys in jeans ) but luckily I find them sexy probably because I never wear jeans myself. As for best time to go I always generally say 'now', busy season means more boys but also more customers thus less choice

mind you Israel's position is completely opposite to Ukraine's with THE BOMB and it's big bear while far away is very friendly , not hostile beast next door like Ukraine has

judging by fast rise of airfares , those predictions may be just right I had taste of it in last days of January with my flights cancelled no less than 4 times ones span of 24 hours, snow storm and lack of crews given as reasons I'd not be booking any connecting flights with tight connection time until dust settles

hope you are right that problem is technical , not political as for posting, why Michael would object ?, you are as good member here as everybody else and I don't believe all three boards are competitors , all filling the same universe

in my opinion if there's any difference it will be Sunday as some bars appeared to be poorer staffed ( and attended ) on Sunday evenings in the days past. Now with the covid restrictions on inflows from neighboring countries it's hard to gauge what will happen by July. Just go and see what happens like most of us in recent months, it looks that very few if any returned home disappointed , certainly not my humble case
