I second Nirish suggestion, there are also short time rooms in Suriwong hotel and in Patpong. Bottom line is don't worry , boys will know where to take you. From Bangkok Ayuthaya by train can be easily done as day trip so no need to break Chiang Mai trip but it would be good idea to stop in Ayuthaya on the way from Chiang Mai. Very good point with visiting Sukhotai on the way in either direction

Whenever we are in public space whether we like or not we are scrutinized by all around, usually complete strangers - it's why , so to speak, we use deodorants and shower every Friday or I was told some even more often. I'm with you that is nothing to be embarrassed to be seen with much younger prostitute of the same sex in public, feast I practice myself very often, but that public may not be actually interested ON THEIR VACATIONS to see behavior usually reserved for more private settings and not necessarily increasing their appetite. I must say that on this issue I'm firmly across the fence - support both of having internal spending limit as it helps to keep head cool and agree that being too rigid in avoiding temptation may deprive us really , really special time with special boy. My way of handling it is simply to have much higher limit than Boy69 has ( 2000 ST, 4000 LT ) and I stick to it - don't take it that I always pay those tips. Only exception I recall were two times I paid 2500 ST / both in BKK / and it was worth it.
