this is how I learned about Tarntawan years ago , somebody was complaining about many old men with young Thai companions at breakfast so I know that hotel welcomes both gays and visitors. It took few years before I actually stay there but at least I had it on my radar. I read reviews and have great kick of reading negative ones about places I know first hand as it looks I'm easy to please but don't recall making ever decision based on statements by unknown users. But I value advice on forums because at least from reading posts I can say I know the person. I learned here about charms of Nantra Silom and Raya and to avoid D'Varee because of claustrophobic rooms.

this is what I was told by one of the OSCAR's boys

for me pleasure of arriving after such a long flight and realizing that I'm in Thailand already easily outweigh inconvenience of waiting in immigration lanes and after sitting 9-15 hours or more everybody can benefit from long walk and long standing IMHO.

agree 100 % +VAT although I can accept boy setting his alarm clock if he wants to leave early in the morning as long as he tells me about this up front

yes, yes , yes , yes, yes / 5 drinks , my favorite is 50% gin and 50% gin, /

you got it right

My guess will be they have ideas but because they consider us of highers status they are waiting for us to make a decision.or at least suggestion. If our boss invites us for a lunch we are not rushing with suggestion either expecting him to made a move.

Big eye opener this thread for me. So I'm offing boy long time in order for him to have good sleep 'burrito" type in my bed ?. No wonder I had few complaining that they want to sleep although one of boys on my last trip complained and immediately answered to himself 'you don't pay me to sleep", rewarded with taxi money for his deep thought. On another occasion his friend from the same bar actually asked up front for few hours of sleep because he spent previous night on the bus but offered compensation right away saying he will stay with me following day as long as I want. But I fully agree, If boy falls asleep trying to finger him in his sleep is gross and asholish thing to do and ewe can only hope that when we are sleeping boy behaves as well - I recall few watching TV with voice muted

Bangkok/Pattaya June-July 2016 Trip Report: To Butterfly or not to Butterfly

Quite possibly he decided that that improving his status among his friends is worth it . Once in Arena on two separate occasions boys pointed to their friend's expensive shoes explaining that he just recently got them bought by grateful client. It looks that Thai boys too not only want to keep up with Joneses , they want be Joneses from time to time like most of us. -

me too so most likely you are correct about said hazard -
thank you for a good laugh, somehow I imagined you saying " stop yakking , keep fucking" LOL

I don't think he ever posts here, in my 3 years I don't recall even once anybody using phrases ' like a pony ' or ' I use him for my pleasure'

sure, only kids are making stupid and uninformed decisions. We adults always know what it's best and can only wonder about that insert in Lord's Prayer 'and do not lead us into temptation" possibly in at least some hotels as well - in June on two occasions at Raya lady came to tidy of room when I was inside and left door wide open each time
-
I never had waiting for luggage problem in Bangkok but elsewhere my personal record is 4 hours waiting after 6.50 hrs. flight owing to bad luck - flight arrived just past midnight and at midnight some type of employment action started leaving manager only to unload jets. But at least we were kept updated of what to expect.

I stay few times in Le Cafe, last in Dec 2015 and then in July this year in The Ambiance, no issues with either one , room size similar , bathroom more spacious in Ambiance, no issues with noise. Le Cafe was cheaper but breakfast more expensive , in fact in Ambiance had it included in the rate, special for low season I guess. One can have cheap breakfast in the Boat Bakery across the Second Road if cost is an issue. While removing water is as z909 said cheap move , complaining about it is pointless as now we have both 7/11 and Family Mart flanking soi 3 from Second Road side not to mention that I'm of firm believing that only animals are drinking water. But I understand kettle concern as I like to make my own tea in the room and ALWAYS carry immense heater , tea and sugar with me. Room in Ambiance had kettle though. Basic toiletries and working room safe provided by both so if you ask me to pick up one I'd say doesn't matter , you will be happy in both , I'm bit tilted toward Le Cafe since is bit cheaper. A for Trip Adviser reviews I tend to dismiss them completely trusting forums and Lonely Planet better. In hotel reviews on TA and booking sites lots of people are complaining about issues like water not wet enough, poor view from their 20 $ rooms and so on. Yes , whenever I will land in Pattaya again I will try Copa just for sake of comparing all three so if you will be there please let us know if they really give discount on massages to hotel guests as some masseurs there are very attractive indeed, getting hot in here

that would be mid-sixties, some may find that idea attractive one - it was that time when worker in American car industry needed to work least number of hours to purchase a car he was toiling on.

that's not unusual and not only among gays, it seems human reasoning is meandering around issues at will. Years ago we had local election with one of candidates campaigning openly on a platform of cutting welfare payments by 40%, he won , as it turned out, helped by great percentage of social assistance recipients voting for him.. Most racist public rant I ever heard was by black man from Africa directed at blacks from Caribbean, when I tried to calm him down / he was my co-worker and we were in crowded bus / he told me because he is black he can say whatever he wants about black people. With Islam and Catholic church firm stance against gay rights there are members here fasting during Ramadan and attending church every Sunday and so on and on and on

look at bright side, next year is only 5 months away

I said this before and repeat again, stay away from staff of the hotel you are staying even if he makes signals. You may have fun and he may have fun but there's great danger such a liaison may put his employment in jeopardy. And by the way, nothing wrong with topics being derailed, forum is not business meeting , rather is like conversation in social setting starting with accolades of how good meal is and ending agreeing that our bosses are really stupid

with such a splurge , if you are not nice who the hell is? Expensive tutorials of lesson "why one should shop at Siam Paragon alone" I can only hope boy was worth of such a expenditure but if it was me I still would say flat 'no", hell with face and if he was really worth such a gift I'd give him money later on since I believe spending 7000 on a boy is Ok but spending 7000 on a jeans for a boy is way tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much.
