Le Meridien is perfectly ok with joiners - both male and female. The Japanese guests often eat breakfast with their female overnight companions (from Soi Thaniya). I even saw one of @vinapu regular hunks with a guest during breakfast!

The landlady who leased them apparently did not have permission of the actual owner of the property.

I wonder if the case is similar to Coffee Grinder which is just two doors away from Tawan and they had to close after operating for just a few months. What I heard was that the landlady who leased the premises to the Coffee Grinder guys did not have permission to do so.

I agree! I am not in a LTR but am friends with several guys in Bangkok. I find myself going gaga over a new guy every year.
