I wish ur recommended hotel was closer to the center. I dont like to uber every time I want to go anywhere. I twice stayed at the hotel palacio, but m fed up with waiting 10 minutes for hot water...

As I was returning to my hotel now, 22:45 in Laureles Medellin, I was reminded of the seasonal concern-opinion voiced here by some: why be alert or even frightened in colombia, when u can b calm in thailand... I walked by myself 15 minutes from a music club. Streets were lighted (better than in pattaya), few people walking, few stores open. Neither a homeless in sight, nor a group of rowdy youngsters. Nobody offered me girls/boys or drugs. Saw a police car on the way. Sure there r areas to avoid, but there is no reason to forgo all that colombia has to offer bcs of outdated stigmas. To paraphrase seinfeld: "impugning a whole country"...

22 months later, r all venues here still open/relevant? Details and discriptions updated? Recommended? How about the two in laureles? Sillon rojo and vachubar? Thx (-:

I visited 6 days at the end of dec for the Feria de Cali. Due to the festival's activities, unfortunately I had less time for sex than I had planned. * At speedoo's recommendation, I stayed at the Hotel NH Cali Boulevard del Rio. Centrally located; only 10 minutes walk from the sex clubs; visitors friendly - just asking for ID photos. * Plenty of grindr solicitations; only two were explicitly scorts. All expecting transport costs, either real or exaggerated. * 2 of the 4 I met were into more friendly sex. * There was one guy with mouth-watering fotos of 24 cms. He wanted 180,000 including uber. I didnt get to really contemplating it, bcs of schedule prblms. * Visited Black&White on strdy at 22:00 - should be peak time. Was a bit disappointed. 25 patrons, equally young and mature. All activity concentrated at the dark room. 30,000 enterance fee, apparently bcs of christmas feria NY week. * Stopped by Physicus to ask about massage: 40 minutes, 70,000. On non-weekend nights it and Relax close at 21:00. PS - I highly recommend a private moto tour in mountainous Siloe Comuna 20: interesting to hear about history and inhabitants; hair raising to ride up and down narrow lanes. HMU for Kevin's nmbr.

Last time I stayed at Vila Gale Paulista hotel, 4 short blocks from Lagoa. No prblms walking there or back at night. I also had no concerns IN the sauna...

Vinapu, I meant that providers share info on clients among themselves, not with other clients. That's the mirror image of what's being discussed here: us sharing info about them. To praise an identified provider here is exactly the rational of this board. Both the provider and future clients would gain by it. To warn against an identified provider is just as important. A scammer deserves to be named, and we deserve to be warned. That's the essence of writing reviews, from AAA to F... I do it whenever relevant, including asking the provider if he wants his contact details shared. Some of u readers have gained by it. I wish we would all go back to writing plain simple USEFUL reviews.

I agree with floridarob. The main function of these forums is to share info, so we could all improve our experiences there. Whether or not a provider is "special" for someone is neither here nor there, because any paid encounter is a reviewable interaction. To restrain ourselves from sharing subjective recommendations / warnings regarding providers, is counterproductive and overly pious. As maurice has written, we all know that each review is subjective, and readers decide whether or not to take is into consideration. Furthermore, some things are not subjective but factual, for example - outdated fotos, misleading sizes and other outright scams. PS - as most of u know and have written here: providers have no qualms sharing btw themselves info about us.....
