East Suites is great with big rooms and I have often stayed there but with only 8 (I think) rooms it sells out fast in high season.

I think 75% of the men I've been with in the last 15 years have messaged afterwards to ask for money. In my early years I did send money but nowadays I tell them 'I don't send money and I don't lend money'. No, no, no, 100 bt for mamasan at Freshboys is perfectly adequate and keeps you in her good books. You realise that Mama gets 100bt from every off fee and 100bt often from men who are off'd? Good boys is open until 2am so you might get there in time.

I didn't get to try Togayther Hostel though reading ' We are targeting the young energetic gay-male guests' I didn't feel, at the age of 73, I was their target market. As ever, I did get to Freshboys nearly every night and, amongst others, took off #5 and #16, both from Vietnam, and #19 from Shan State. From Goodboys I took off Vietnamese men #32 and #93 to play pool and #36, from Myanmar, to take to bed again. From Dreamboys I took off a friend from before Covid, #14, a very handsome man from Vietnam, to drink beer. I recommend all of them, though I advise talking to them first about what you want to do. My trip was meant to be more in Vietnam but the rain in Hanoi from typhoons drove me earlier than I had planned to Bangkok. I also spent 5 nights in Dong Hoi in Vietnam, and that was ok, though unexciting from a gay point of view.

She may also have liked the services of the very handsome young men who did massage at BBB Inn. I will never forget the Vietnamese lads who worked there in 2014 before the coup.

I am told that, if they don't work at Freshboys for several days (eg sick, away in home country), they have to re register at the bar, get a new number, and turn up at 8pm for work for a while. Arriving at 8pm and staying until bar closing at 1am means they get a modest payment (150bt or 200bt - not sure) but is tedious for them as few customers in the 8 -10pm period. I think experienced staff can arrive at 9.59pm at the latest.

My source, who works there, says that #25 is not new at Fresh Boys and has worked there a while. But I agree he is very handsome and popular. And he has a very handsome and cute relative working at Dreamboys number #14.

I asked two men who have worked at Freshboys recently. One said they get 200-300; the other said they get 200-500bt for helping customer drink spirits. Thank you to Jason for the insider info. I didn't know Mamasan invites men to help.

Thank you for great updates. I was recently in Freshboys every night as my favourite. Currently only packed on Friday/Saturday nights, I think. I am curious too how much the whiskey bottle customers tip to drink with the men for ages. I will ask. I think anything less than a regular tip of 500bt upwards would be mean, as the men are giving up a chance of being taken out for that period.

I'm not there but M Bar's Facebook page posted about a party on October 10th and their Facebook looks lively. I read a week ago or so they were closing for renovation for a couple of days.

I'm in Bangkok now and, having read the reviews of Togayther Hostel on Wall St Soi, I'm tempted to try it, as long as I also have a place to sleep nearby. I recommend reading the reviews. $7 is the cheapest price I've seen, though one reviewer mentions a 1000 bt deposit. If I dare go there at my age I will report back.

If the airlines won't co-operate they could make it an add on to the tdac but that would take more than 4 months. Tourists don't want another qr code or a queue to pay at the airports.

I've off'd men for several days to take them on a trip and paid them 4,000bt a day and paid all expenses. The bar gets the off fee - often around 500bt a day. That's for hanging out all the time. Personally I wouldn't try to negotiate less than that for 24 hours of their company. Some men have another job (eg daytime massage) so we could negotiate about that if they want to do the other job. I've always enjoyed it but, being old, I find young men sleep a lot.

Or is the land border still closed except for Cambodians returning to Cambodia? Do you know of Cambodian people being able to enter Thailand by land in recent weeks?
