  1. Although Jomtien does not have go-go bars, the host bars offer many more boys to pick and choose from, so lack of go-go bars is not a problem. There is one bar, DoDo, in Jomtien Complex which does have some dancing boys which is a nice treat. The largest gay scene is in Jomtien Complex, aka Supertown. There are 6 go-go bars in the Boyztown area and 2 go-go bars in Sunee Plaza. I should mention that Jomtien Complex is about a 15 minute ride by Baht Bus(10 Baht) from Pattaya or a short motorbike ride (80Baht) or a Bolt Car ride(100 Baht).
  2. Oh, you must be a Brit? 555 Perfect English!
  3. Last night I was in Jomtien Complex aka Supertown and visited M Bar which had many boys but the Air Con was not operating so quite warm inside. So on to DoDo Bar which was nice and cool and had about 6 nice boys doing dancing for the customers and it was busy with customers. Drinks were about 130B Regarding Sunee Plaza, a few night ago was there, as were about 8 other customers and about 8 lads on stage. Somewhat like the good old days! Drinks at 100B.
  4. Today, I was bored a bit and headed to Winner Boy Bar in Sunee Plaza expecting it to be dead! But was pleasantly surprised to see there were about 8 go-go boys and about the same number of customers both inside and outside. Seems that those who enjoy twink types have found a niche to enjoy. Friends have also recently visited the nearby Nice Boy Bar and also enjoyed their visit.
  5. Sorry can't assist you, but there is another farang in Pattaya who has a similar fetish! He is a smaller man in the range of 130 pounds and asks the boys to lift him and then gives them a tip. You are not alone!
  6. Oh, I wondered what happened to him!
  7. In Pattaya there are a number of tailor shop behind Tukcom on some of the small sois. Who can say if decent products? Also some tailor shops on Second Road in vicinity of Boyztown area but not so sure about them.
  8. It was a 100 Baht note and the undies were tight as a .....! 555
  9. My exploratory adventures did not confirm the looseness of the shorts; rather that they were wearing tight fitting underwear under the shorts and seemed reluctant to let me explore. Well, not in all cases especially if you bought them a drink and a chat and a nice tip.
  10. I have lived in Pattaya for years and don't speak Thai other than a few words; same with many of my friends. I do have one friend who studies Thai every day and can read it but never speaks a word!
  11. I would say, fortunately there are ways around this! Just because someone does not have or wish to deposit 800,000 in an account does not mean they are destitute. The 800,000/annual is about equivalent to the monthly 65,000 required for a retirement extension. At one time it was possible to get a certificate from your Embassy showing that your monthly income was 65K or more and no problem. Then many Embassies would no longer certify that even though their citizens met the requirement. (Some Embassies still do this certification). The visa agents now provided a service to those who do not have or do not wish to deposit 800,000 in an account. Citizen still can opt for the 65 K monthly deposits but that can be tricky at times so easier to use an agent.
  12. I was at DoDo about 9 pm tonight and all was quite active!! 😜
  13. Somjit Massage. Yes, still open, probably same as it was when you were last here. Somjit Massage is still open. Probably the lads there are the same as when you last visited. I have not noticed any significant changes from the past.
  14. Basically the guys are wearing walking or gym shorts.
  15. Here is a post on Sawatdee Forum regarding the cremation of Sone today, August 19. https://sawatdeenetwork.com/v4/showthread.php?23117-RIP-Sone Regarding the SWING Foundation I was told they do provide free testing for HIV to Thais, Laos and Cambodians. And they provide free PrEP and PEP to the same. They also assist in helping to get free medications for HIV from Banglamung Hospital ( there is a one time fee of about 3000 Baht). It seems SWING can be very helpful to many of those in need. Best to go there in person as they often do not respond to telephone calls. Located on South Pattaya Road near the Vespa dealership.
  16. I believe, but not sure, that SWING has provided HIV testing at various venues in Pattaya. Their testing is free to all the boys regardless of nationality. Not quite sure about medicines but at the most about 2000 Baht per month. There is also a Dr. Phillipe in Pattaya that helps HIV patients. This Dr. Phillipe is a Thai doctor and apparently not the same as the famous Dr. Phillipe but seems to have a similar address. Perhaps he has taken over from the original Dr. Phillipe? Sone was to see Dr. Phillipe but was too ill and went to the hospital.
  17. In Pattaya there is SWING on South Pattaya Road which offers free testing and very inexpensive medicine. We did go there but, as it turned out, it was too late to do anything for Sone.
  18. It seems that the hiv+ risk is even rising, judging by people I know getting infected here in Pattaya.
  19. This post is from Sawatdee Forum about the death of Sone, a friend, who passed away last night, August 16. A wonderful young man. 😭 https://sawatdeenetwork.com/v4/showthread.php?23117-RIP-Sone&p=295242#post295242
  20. I did view the video and noticed that many of the locals he spoke to just ignored him. What an ass.
  21. DoDo Bar in the Complex now has some lads dancing in an air conditioned room. Not on a stage, but dancing in front of the customers. Very enjoyable and well worth a visit.
  22. Sometimes the guys quote low prices because they are trying to scam the customer. Just never know. But best to tell them ID is required by security. If they claim they have lost ID, etc, then do not take them.
  23. Finally I did see Oppenheimer in Pattaya, but unlike others, I found it boring to the point I left halfway through the movie. A very confusing film where separating fact from fiction was impossible along with all the flashbacks/flash forwards. Worst of all was the scene with Oppenheimer and his "femme du jour" sitting naked, in separate chairs like a shrink with his client. Perhaps if I endured another 1 1/2 hours I could have seen something worthwhile but my endurance had its limits. 🥱
  24. Somewhat reminiscent of the scare tactics during the Iraq War whereby "weapons of mass destruction" were reported but nothing was found. Nonetheless, Americans and Allies did have reason to be concerned about the Germans developing nuclear weapons.
